I'm 18 years old. These are my first Paralympic Games. I'm very happy to be playing my
first games here at home at Roland Garros. I have already won a junior title, so I have some experience, but the Paralympic Games are very different so I'm very happy to be here. When I was young I played tennis before my accident, and immediately I got hooked, a year after my accident after trying wheelchair tennis it was pretty much instant too, a real passion in fact. The same passion as for classic tennis, the same sensation. So I decided to continue on that path. The wheelchair is different. There are small differences, but the sensations are wonderful, and I insist it's the same sport,
not two different sports. After two years on the junior circuit it’s true that winning junior Roland Garros was quite an achievement. Last May I was quite confident, that I would win that title. Having already been on the adult circuit I quickly gained a lot of skills. I'm very, very happy about that. But it’s true, the success came quickly,
only three years since my accident. It was quite impressive. My objective are my intentions for the Paralympic Games
are to give everything. I hope to win a medal. Why not? Just because it's my first time doesn’t mean I'm going to limit myself. For the future the goal is to be world number one and to win
plenty of Grand Slam titles. Before Grand Slams first, initially to qualify for all Grand Slams in a year. And then of course to win them one by one.
