football season is officially underway in cou as the Broncos kicked off fall camp today Under second-year head coach Lance Taylor after 4 and8 season a year ago Western will break in new coordinators on both sides of the ball WMU returns a lot from last year 17 starters including eight on offense quarterback hay wolf is back along with tight end in West Ottawa gr Blake bosma Lance Taylor ready to go for his second season I try not to use the word excited too much but I've been using the word excited a bunch even since Mac media day I tell you this group has really re-energized me and really there's an excitement with this group of players um we returned 17 starters um there's 26 guys on this football team who have started for us in some form or capacity over the last year when you look at that Core Group um I think that there's some excitement because they understand uh the standard that we've set they understand the foundation that we've laid and they've really taken ownership and really taking that to the next step with the player accountability
