The Campaign Against Cows

hello there and welcome today I want to talk about the campaign against cows and how they are said to be a threat because they Amit methane cows have existed on Earth for thousands of years and have been traded since at least 9,000 BC in the 11,000 years since cows have existed in their domesticated form the emitting of methane hasn't been a problem yet now there is a problem also methane makes up so little of our atmosphere a about 0.18% it is impossible that it could cause warming the trouble is most people believe the lies and go with them I found an article on slashdot.org that talks about bioengineering a better cow to fight climate change with plenty of fear propaganda to try to create the need for such a Frankenstein's monster of a cow it talks about how methane is 25 times more powerful than carbon for warming and the toa's digestive process accounts for near 22% of all us methane emissions the manure they make accounts for 8% more methane according to a US Government Department the Environmental Protection Agency we know that the government agency is obliged to follow orders so they have no choice but to put out this information that is probably true but not a major problem the controlled Washington Post then states that methane heats the Earth more than every flight across the world combined so we need to bioengineer cows they plant a genetically alter the microbes in a cow's stomach so they don't produce methane this will supposedly eliminate the largest human made sauce of methane production and change the ca of climate change in the future cows could be given a kind of probiotic that will change the stomach microbiome permanently and because they are changing the microbiome of the stomach it applies to all cows it's still early days as the research team have a seven-year window for this project and they are only just passed to the first year the truth is you can bioengineer all the cows you want but it won't change the climate one bit the sun drives our weather also how long before they say that humans are a problem and are offered the same treatment I don't think messing with the microbiome is a good idea does anybody know the knock on effects of this treatment has anybody done a long-term study has anybody even ask these questions let alone answer them thanks for listening bye for now
