The women covering the Ukraine war from the frontlines | Foreign Correspondent

(SIRENS WAIL) (DISTANT EXPLOSIONS) WOMAN: Two years ago, Russia launched a full-scale invasion on my country. And while our men have been mobilised for war... ..it's women who are running the newsrooms and reporting from the front line. (EXPLOSIONS) They have been under attack, evacuated from their homes and offices, and have lost loved ones. My name is Oksana Brovko. I represent all independent regional media in Ukraine. Since the war began, I have been working around the clock to keep these newsrooms going. These are our stories. (MAN SPEAKS UKRAINIAN) (MAN RESPONDS ON RADIO) (EXPLOSION) (SPEAKS UKRAINIAN) Hmm.
