what's going on everyone Chris from pick dogs.com here with your free pick in the Texas Rangers versus Oakland A's Major League Baseball matchup going down Saturday August 31st 2024 just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you're subscribe to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets the games that I love including my daily $19 best bet head on over to piic dogs.com and click the premium picks tab at the top of the page but let's get to this one between the Texas Rangers and the Oakland A's the Texas Rangers sending out Cody Brown atford for the start in this one while the Oakland A will counter with Joey eses and eses is having a you know great year for the Oakland a uh he's given up two runs or less in five of his last six starts a bunch of those are quality starts or near quality starts the problem for eses here in this outing is that a lot of those starts came at home where if you've been following ESD you know that the Oakland A are just a better team with them on the mound at home and SE has pitched better at home this season with a 2.31 erra on the road completely different pitcher 7.17 erra 291 opponent's batting average over 100 percentage points higher than his opponent's batting average at home which is 188 so I think SDS could be in some trouble here against the Rangers lineup that yes hasn't been producing and it's I think it's starting to come to the realization that they're not going to be able to defend their um their their World Series Championship but entering Friday they've still won seven of their last 10 games and while they weren't all that impressive Rive in that Series against the Chicago White Socks they still been able to put up some runs and Cody Bradford's been respectable in his own right you know Bradford 2.36 erra in his last seven starts since coming back into the fold for the uh for the Rangers rotation he's given up three earned runs or less in all five of the starts he pitched fairly well at home went seven Innings of three-run ball at home last time out against the Pirates just didn't get the Run support that he needed as they lost that game four nothing the Rangers did but uh I think they can do enough off vest here on the road Oakland for being a team that was really really solid against lefties earlier and for for a good chunk of the Season early on haven't been as successful against left-handed pitching as of late and while you know Texas Bullpen has been an issue at times I still think Texas can do enough in terms of the Run support department to be able to back up Bradford here Bradford already saw the Rangers ear excuse me already saw the a earlier this season in Texas held him to one unearned run over six and twoth thirs innings of work it was a victory there for uh for Texas by a final score of 6-2 I think uh I think Texas can do enough here to get the job done once again I'm going to take Texas in this one and that's going to be my free pick but just a reminder if you haven't already make sure you subscribe to our Channel and smash that thumbs up and if you're looking for my Best Bets you can find those a pck dogs premium while your pick dogs check out our betting tools they're 100% free they're the best betting tools in the business and tools that you want to make sure that you have in your back pocket when you're making your Best Bets for the day's action thanks for watching see you guys soon
