Intro I'm going to be completely honest making the right start sit decision between the running backs you have on your roster almost always is the only difference that comes between you actually winning a week and underperforming but I know that you know that you know that I know that you know running backs are very important in fantasy football guys make sure to comment your start sck questions I will be answering 100% of them before Sunday's tip off and please drop a like on your way down there it helps me out a ton as a person and as a Creator but let's get right into these starts and sits and total rankings of my running backs for week two of fantasy football S Tier our we one is going to be bej Robinson this should not come as a surprise to anybody if you look at last game he didn't have the most nuclear game of all time 16 fantasy points still over 100 total allpurpose yards he managed to do all that though with no touchdown and with an offense that looked absolutely abysmal with that being said he gets a better matchup this week against the Philadelphia Eagles as far as fantasy points allowed to the running back position he's going to be a good play every week but that touchdown that he scores is going to put him into the elite elite tier which is what we drafted him as a top three running back for orb2 in the S tier here is going to be Bree Hall and his numbers really didn't show the whole depiction of the game they ended up getting dog walked last week the Jets did not look that great but he was still everything in this offense and he saw 21 touches out of the 51 plays he he looked good he looked like the entire offense for the Jets but now he gets a more favorable match up against the Titans where the Jets should at least be in this game if not winning a majority of it and that's going to be a more run heavy script the rb3 staying in this s tier though is going to be kyen Williams he dominates the Cardinals every single time he plays if you look at his stats from the past two times they played 21.8 fantasy points and 34.4 fantasy points he also averaged 8 yards for carry in those two games and that's not hard to believe because the Cardinals run defense cannot stop many people if any and it looks like Blake km is going to have no type of involvement in this offense if he does it'll be a good amount later into the season we don't have to worry about it for week two fire up Kiron honestly rb3 might be a little low but we got a lot of good running backs this week staying in the S tier with saquon Barkley this is a guy that put up 33 fantasy points last week I know nobody is forgetting that in his Eagles debut and it's great to see that our analysis of the Jaylen Herz touchdown situation held true if you have DeAndre Smith getting tackled the most inside the five the entire NFL and Jason Kelce the tush push is going to be broken that's getting dialed back this year cuz why would you do that with no Jason Kelce and a sequan Barkley That's 6' 235 like he's going to score touchdowns and Jaylen herz's touchdowns are going to regress a little bit I'm not worried about him stealing any he's most likely going to be a top five running back every single week in and week out even if he does get a tough match up here against the Atlanta run defense rb5 Jonathan Taylor the real only drawback we can say here is Anthony Richardson and this offense really didn't look at its peak last week he only had eight completions I mean they still put up some numbers but if you're only completing eight passes on really your entire offense was on four plays it's not going to be great for the Run game and that's why he only had like 40 50 rushing yards the touchdown did save him but if we look at the advanced statistics why he's still an S player for me he played 96% of the total snaps in this offense was really the only running back to touch the football and he has a great offensive line in front of him he gets a pretty good match up against the Packers defense here but that's a Packers team with Malik Willis that's probably not going to be very good and if that's true JT is going to run all over this team if they get up early as long as we can get a little bit more usage in the pass game JT's again probably going to be a fringe top five running back every single week you can't take last week away from him there was only eight completions as we're getting A Tier into this if you guys have start questions about your wide receivers make sure to go watch the wide receiver tier list that I posted yesterday I'll link it in this video it's the most recent video on my page outside of this one dropping it down to the a tier is going to be Joe Mixon against the Bears this week what I really really love about Mixon and why he was such a great value in drafts compared to what we're looking at now and I'm not too worried about last week's numbers to decrease a lot now did have 33 touches that's a little bit much it's most definitely going to go down from there but those touches are going to be valuable because you cannot stack the Box against the Texans when you have Nico Collins Stefon Diggs tank Dell all of these vertical receiving threats with a quarterback that can throw the ball deep and is pretty accurate it's going to be hard to stop the run game CU you just can't afford it and that is exactly why Joe Mixon saw over 5 yards per carry on his 30 rushing attempts he also looks like he's going to be involved in the receiving game for this week and the rest of the season he's projected for three receptions I love to see that Joe Mixon again top 10 running back fired up every single week no worry about it and a great match up this week I'm starting in where I can keeping it in the a tier we're going with jir Gibbs if you guys watch the wide receiver tier video you know this is a great match up we want to be targeting the Lions and the Buccaneers are projected for top three points in total of this week and when you're scoring that many points somebody's going to get a touchdown and yards are going to be gained so start everybody where you can in this match up jir Gibbs gets a ton of PPR upside as we know he's projected for four receptions this week and this might seem like a high ranking if you're just looking at rushing yards considering DAV montgomer had just shy of 100 and jir Gibbs only had 40 but that doesn't really matter when you're on a lions offense that scores so many touchdowns a game and honestly jir Gibbs is starting to get that goal line work that we've been waiting for him to get from David Montgomery we saw it last week and we saw in the back half of last year it's good to see that's continuing but surprisingly enough Jordan Mason does make our a tier here only if CMC doesn't play obviously if CMC plays we're moving him up if he doesn't Jordan Mason is a fine start you have to be putting him in your starting lineups despite the name value and we do have to be fair and look at every aspect of this matchup it is tough the Minnesota run defense is not one to be messed with but against the Jets defense last week Jordan Mason had 5.3 yards per carry and 3.4 yards after contact that is a very good number for a running back that's never gotten a Workhorse role all of his Advanced metrics look really good again coming from a Jets defense in week one that's a pretty solid Baseline and if he can work himself into the pass game he's going to be even better but moving on to the next running back here Derrik Henry he's more of a predictable fantasy football start but you are going to have those weeks that aren't the best which is what we saw last week he did get saved by a touchdown this week should be a lot more of a safe matchup for him against the Raiders yes they do have a decent run defense but you look at this game total the Ravens are projected to win this game by over a touchdown it should be a very run heavy script especially in the second half of the game and we know in those game scripts Derrick Henry absolutely eats we'd love to see Derrick Henry get a little bit more involvement in the P game but if they're winning the majority of this game which they will I'm not worried about him getting those receptions Justice Hill if the Ravens are going to be close or losing these games he's going to be the guy that you want to start in your lineup looking down at the B tier we're starting this off with my B Tier man Isaiah Peko who gets a match up against the Bengals which looks a little bit tough but you see ra Andre Stevenson just ran for 120 on them and absolutely crushed them and I'm sure you guys have all caught on to the fact now that the Bengals historically just start their season slow they have not won a game in their first two weeks since 2021 even my commanders are not that bad looking at historical data Isaiah PCO cooked the Bengals last time they played in week 17 he put up 26 fantasy points got a ton of receiving work a touchdown obviously they work on the ground too it's a good game script expecting the Chiefs to be winning this game by a good amount again they should be running the ball a ton Isaiah beo is a guy we are starting and he is a top running back for me this week James Conor is going to be next up in these rankings and he is one of those guys that if he's healthy you're going to be starting him 16 carries last week four targets out of the backfield and Trey Benson was nowhere to be seen only three carries now I do expect that to get up and up and up as the season goes on but as of now for week two when James Conor is healthy we are starting him and the Rams are a very positive matchup allowing top five points to opposing running backs every single week even the offensive coordinator has been saying that James Conor is going to get a Workhorse role when he is in the game he is also projected for three receptions this week so that does give him a safe floor of about five fantasy points we love to see that this ranking honestly might be a little bit low next up Alvin Kamar another one of these guys that's been getting a ton of disrespect in the last nine out of his 13 healthy games he's had 20 or more touches that's pretty good for an Alvin Kamar that we say is reception dependent and speaking of receptions I would fully expect the Saints to lean more on their checkdown game in a matchup against the Cowboys which when you have that defense and Michael Parson's coming at you and beating at your door you're going to want to check the ball down pretty quickly I like Alin kar's chances is to be great in the PPR game but also run the ball a good amount too but moving into Rashad white as our next running back here again this is a great match up we want to be targeting because of how high the point total is and I have him this low because the lions run defense is pretty legit the only running back they've allowed 70 or more rushing yards on the ground in the last 22 games is Christian mcaffrey that is a pretty scary statistic but the good news is Rashad white gets a ton of work in the past game even if we do have Bucky Irving mixing in for a couple carries here I'm not too worried about it again High game total he should score touchdown but speaking of rb2s getting some touches Travis etana is going to be next up in these rankings and people are giving him a little too much disrespect for what he deserves you look at this match up against the Browns the Jaguars have this week and you are instantly scared I don't want to deal with it this is a tough defense he was splitting carries with tank bsby but I honestly expect this to be a good thing for etn Bigby is going to be a game script dependent running back that's going to be used in those positive matchups but when you need yards you need experience against a good Browns defense etn is going to get a majority if not all of this work this week now obviously there's going to be some red flags here but still his ranked where he is for a reason I'm not too worried about the Browns matchup and I will have Kenneth walker/ Zack Sharay next up in these rankings it also does depend on who actually ends up starting Kenneth Walker is still dealing with injury whoever ends up starting though is going to be in your starting lineups I guarantee you if Zack sharpet is still on your waiver wire go ahead and pick him up just in case because I do expect Kenneth Walker not to play but I am recording this video on Friday so news will be coming out later in the week but everything we said about but everything we said about Kenneth Walker looked to be true he was a three- down running back the coaching staff has said they want to give him that role and they did but now he's injured Zack shanet on the other hand if and when he does play he is big enough to be a three down Workhorse back he was drafted in the second round for a reason he's a good running back he's a very good pass catcher I expect if Kenneth Walker does miss this game he's going to probably get five receptions if not like six targets out of the backfield it's a good matchup against the Patriots in the sense that the Seahawks should be up in this game very quick very early yes it's a tough run defense but again there's really no worry for the Seahawks not to win this game but let's monitor this injury all the way up to Sunday if Kenneth Walker does play and he's limited that's probably the worst case scenario cuz they're both going to be playing 50/50 and in that case I'd kind of be hesitant starting them but that's a conversation for another day go ahead and drop any of your questions in the comments though I will be answering 100% of them moving down to the next running back in this tier is going to be Josh Jacobs again this scares me a little bit because of the whole Malik Willis situation but because of that people are moving him down a lot more in their rankings than they should we looked last week Mixon tore apart this CT's defense that Josh Jacobs gets now now we have to be honest with Malik Willis playing and the options compared to the Texans you're going to stack the Box a lot more against the Packers than you are against the Texans again cuz you can't afford it and you know as a football perspective you're going to make them beat you with his arm so they're probably going to stack the box it's going to be a tough game for Josh Jacobs but the usage is going to be there the usage rate from last week was there and he looked like a Workhorse back he's going to do that again this week moving on to ra Andre C Tier Stevenson this seems like the tier of people that just everybody hates on ra Andre 120 yards against the Bengals defense last week looked absolutely amazing now we do have to be fair they were in a positive game script if if you're beating a team you're going to be running a good amount and how often are the Patriots actually going to be winning games it is a tougher matchup against the Seahawks so you can't really expect a ton but he does get a lot of work in the receiving game as well the checkdowns are there Antonio Gibson doesn't really seem to be like any type of backfield threat for him so we're firing up Rand Dre Stevenson and hopefully another good game from him and one thing that does urge me to be starting him is that the Patriots gave him rest in practice earlier this week meaning they are going to be using him this week as well he had 28 touches last week I expect it to be some around 25 this week again especially if they're giving him rest preparing him for another big week moving into the next running back here this is going to be David Montgomery it's a guy that had a great game script against the Rams last week again their run defense isn't the best without Aaron Donald anymore and now he gets another positive match up against the Buccaneers run defense unfortunately from what we're seeing in week one in the back half of last year he's kind of starting to lose that Red Zone role to Jamir Gibbs but this is what we expected they drafted Gibbs for a reason he's an upand cominging rookie he looks very very good now when you're in the red zone four times a game that doesn't necessarily matter and you can still get your touch down as an rb2 but he does prove to be that touchdown dependent running back if he's going to get absolutely nothing in the receiving game you get 90 rush yards it's only nine fantasy points if you don't get a touchdown or a reception so that does scare me which is why he's this low but in a great matchup he should score a touchdown probably have a fine fantasy week too and going to the next running back here JK Dobbins one of our sleepers of the Year looking to prove that absolutely amazing and now he gets another amazing match up here against the Panthers run defense who allow some of the most points to opposing running backs couple that with their best defensive lineman Derrick Brown being out he should be able to dominate this week the Chargers are a run heavy team especially with the hard ball Tree in here now we look to see this again continue from last week JK Dobbins is that number one and like James Connor when he is healthy you are starting him he is very talented Gus Edwards doesn't look to seem to be that much of a backfield competition as far as Fantasy Point utilization goes drum Ford is going to be next up in this rankings and start sit video it does suck that his offense is so terrible if it wasn't he would definitely be way higher in these rankings but a tip for you guys if you do have drone Ford I would look to be trading him after this week or just after a good week in general because once the news of Nick chub coming back starts to hit the media people are going to realize again that Jerome Ford doesn't have season long value and you're not going to really be able to get much value for him now while Jerome Ford is starting he is a start obviously this week he's in this video for a reason you're going to be getting very good value from him and he's going to be a good running back but he makes do with his situation he put up 19 points against a very good Cowboys defense despite deshun Watson looking like a bottom three quarterback in the NFL that's very promising now he gets a way better matchup against the Jaguars who are a lot softer against the run and he gets a good amount of usage in the pass game from deshun Watson so that gives him again another floor to where if he doesn't score a touchdown you're not really going to be too sad about it he's going to get you a fine fantasy week put your own forward in your starting lineups and we will be going with Brian Robinson next against the Giants defense they do have a better run stopping defense than they do secondary so that is to be noted but Jaden Daniels should slow down a little bit in his Rush game the coaching staff has come out and said we don't want him having 16 Rush attempts a game last week was a little bit irregular because it was his first game ever he kind of just instead of lean on the check down just lean to run but with that being said it means Brian Robinson is going to see an uptick of usage if Jaden Daniels is dialing back that run volume and this is a great matchup in a game that should be closer than their Buccaneers match up last week against the Giants for some reason the Giants always keep this game close and almost always win it in recent memory which kind of sucks as a commanders fan but it is what it is it should be a good game script for Brian Robinson and obviously we do have a little bit of backfield competition with Austin Eckler which I will get into later in this video but this is where we start to see D Tier a good amount of red flags and RB drop off here Naji Harris is going to be next up in these rankings last week Nai held his own with 20 rushing attempts for 70 yards on the ground that was against a pretty tough match up with the Atlanta run defense now that eases up a ton against the Broncos run defense in week two but despite Jaylen Warren being limited with a leg injury last week and looking like there was pretty much no running back competition to take anything from Naji and he still only played 56% of the snaps it is a little bit worrisome cuz every week Jaylen Warren's only getting more and more healthy and they were involving Cordo Patterson in the offense like there's no reason we should be doing that I know Arthur Smith dragged him with but like that's not going to continue to happen but Naji Harris you got a majority if not all of the rushing attempts but again jayen Warren's getting more healthy it does scare me and dial back his upside especially when you do have Justin Fields starting at running back but moving to the next running back here is going to be Aaron Jones coming off a great fantasy week of 19 fantasy points 94 rush yards and 6.7 yards per carry that is very very elite but we have some pros and cons with this one the cons is that it is a lot tougher of a matchup against the 49ers this week and this is more of a Sam Donald and team issue than it is me worrying about Aaron Jones can Sam darnold move the ball against a 49ers team compared to the Giants obviously anybody can move the ball on them if he can Aaron Jones is going to be a fine start but if he does struggle Aaron Jones is going to be a little bit more risky because if you're not having offense you're not getting the ball getting yards getting touchdowns getting fantasy points the good news is that Aaron Jones looked really good last week he got a good amount of involvement in the receiving games that does again boost his floor just a little bit we do have Tai Chandler in this offense that might get some more utilization in a tougher matchup this week though which is why Aaron Jones is this low outside of Aaron Jones I'm only starting just Jefferson I'm not worrying about anybody else in this offense right now but give me Tony per next in these RB tiers a guy who had 16 Rush attempts for 82 yards and a touchdown he is making a great case to be that rb1 however we do have to take a step back I fully expect Taj Spears to get more than eight touches than he did last week the coaching staff has said they do want Taj Spears to get more involved now the matter of how many weeks it takes for that to happen that's not up to me but I do expect him 100% to get more than eight touches in a match up against the Jets that is a lot tougher Zach Moss though next in these RB tiers who has proven himself to be the lead in this backfield for now comparatively 33 snaps to jaay Brown 17 and throughout the course of the season I do expect this number to reach equilibrium but for now against the Chiefs Zach Moss will likely open and continue to be this rb1 there is that red flag of will that change and I don't want to be starting him the week that that does change it shouldn't really be too much of an issue this week though but the man DeAndre Swift has some explaining to do five fantasy points on 11 touches that is bad and I'll go ahead and put my coaching cap on here and explain this for you if you have Caleb Williams completing 14 out of his 29 pass attempts and you do not just think let me check it down to the running back guess what you're going to lose the game 17 to 24 and that is an understatement this game was a lot worse for Caleb Williams the defense did bail him out so why did DeAndre Swift only get one target out of 29 pass attempts somebody needs to realize that Caleb Williams needs a little bit of help so throw the check down there's nothing wrong with that if you're completing almost half of your passes like that's that's not good throw the check down you don't need to get it all downfield I expect the coaches to make that change this week the Andre smift should be a better running back and I do expect Caleb Williams to look better in this matchup it's a softer one compared to the Titans defense last week their secondary is pretty good and we move down to Devin single ter as the next running back here this is a guy that's not going to win you a week putting up 20 plus fantasy points but he probably won't lose you one in the sense we didn't draft him very high and he's not necessarily going to get zero and he gets a really good match up against the commanders this should be a way better game script I mean they were playing from behind against the Vikings pretty much all game last week but his 15 touches against the Minnesota Vikings KS a very good run defense is not going to be the same value of 15 touches against the commanders a terrible defense secondary and front line that 3.7 yards per carry is probably going to jump up more to four and a half maybe even five again I fully expect him to have a way more efficient game it's going to be closer especially so you can see that 15 touches as a floor for Deon single ter continuing into Zeke as the next running E Tier back he is the rb1 for now I don't expect that to continue as far as season long goes as much as a week toe basis but for this week he owns the goal line work he is the rb1 I will be putting him here in in this ranking above Rico dowle he isn't Far and Away the better running back here you can put your faith in Zeke against a Saints run defense that is pretty good but not compared to the Cowboys entire offense it's going to lead to more rushing attempts but chuba hubard if you do have him he is 100% at the mercy of Bryce young but it's almost a guarantee that he will look better and this entire Panthers offense will look better against the Chargers this week it's a softer defense he did have a terrible game last week against the Saints good run defense but you have virtually no backfield competition so I'm not worried hope shouldn't completely be lost but next gavon Williams another guy that's been getting a good amount of disrespect and I see why but I'm telling you right now if B Knick does not learn how to throw a checkdown in this matchup against the Steelers TJ watt is coming for everything that he's ever loved it is going to be very very bad if B knck cannot get this ball out quick which makes Javon Williams a better RB in this week and I honestly might be okay with starting but again we do have Jal mlin in this backfield he will get some of that receiving work which does kind of hurt but the bright side is we know this Broncos team is going to throw a ton of these checkdowns in total we just have to hope they go to Javon Williams and looking at Austin ekar as the next running back more involvement in the pass game than the Run game we all expected it only two carries not the best and he had four receptions for 53 yards last week that value in the receiving game is going to be a little bit inflated from week one just because Jane DS really only lived in the short to intermediate pass game he threw a couple deep balls but none of them were completed when you're in a softer match up against the Giants it is tough because they do play a closer defense in and they kind of allow a lot of big plays down the field you do have to expect if Jane Daniels is going to dial back his rushing attempts the check Downs are going to be there and Austin Eckler is going to have to be that safety valve for him Austin Eckler is projected for about four to five receptions giving him a pretty decent floor if you do need him as a last Flex I wouldn't suggest you throw him and start him if you're in a 12 team or less but his running attempts from two should go up from last week again because of the Jaden Daniels Dio back of rushing attempts which I and the coaching staff expects to happen but finally zamir white is showing his face in these rankings I hope you didn't draft him I tried to warn you pre-draft but if you do this is the part for you he gets a match up against the Ravens which isn't impossible but it is a little bit worrisome especially when you're on a team that does not score the ball very well and doesn't get in the Red Zone more of the worry comes with this backfield competition of Alexander Madison who looked like the better running back in week one zamir white will lead this team in rushing attempts for week two but if you don't get a single Target going your way his floor is going to be very very low if he does not score a touchdown he's a touchdown dependent back and I don't like starting those guys and I'll group these next few guys together because they're pretty F Tier similar in my rankings and they all have equal red flags Jaylen Warren Taj Spears Jal mlin and Chase Brown in that order Jaylen Warren still coming off a leg injury he is definitely the best out of this group but it's going to take some weeks to get acclimated to the full workload he should be seeing we're definitely not going to see that Max workload in week two but he should continue to get a little bit more from week one going back to javante mlin should get a good amount of work in the receiving game I don't see much more happening for him outside of that Taz Spears like I was talking about earlier he should definitely see more than eight touches which is going to give him a little bit higher of a floor but not enough to really make him a great running back and then Chase Brown looks like the 703 split to Zach Moss but his 30 until that shortens and it becomes more 50/50 I'm not going to be loving throwing him in my starting lineup he really is depending on a lucky touchdown but moving down again for another group MUST SITS of running backs I will cover very quickly Gus Edwards Ty Chandler Rico D Alexander Madison then tank bsby and Bucky as two backup handcuff running backs to finish this thing off if you guys do have start to questions 100% make sure to drop them in the comments I will be answering 100% of them until Sunday's kickoff I'm going to go enjoy myself away from school and away from research for fantasy football for these two days and enjoy watching some football on Sunday we've been grinding out videos every single day of the week I appreciate you guys watching this video thank you so much for showing so much support I will see you in the next one in the waiver wire ads video coming on Monday
