Hey, y’all boys trying to do one more up or nah? Or y’all ain’t on that? Hey. Hey, What's up? Everybody let’s do one more. Everybody let’s do one more. Keep moving your legs. Don't stop. Yeah. I like to see the extra. I like to see the team committed to
whatever it is that they want to accomplish. At the end of the day, that’s what leadership looks like. and it’s not easy. Summer's almost over. What are we waiting for? You have more in the tank. You have more to give. Every year we got games where we walk into that locker room, that we gave. Y’all had the number one team in the nation beat at home. Mike Locksley. This team dug deep and they'll come up a little short. We couldn't finish it. Everybody wants to talk about
Maryland played two, three good quarters against Ohio State. So what? It's a four quarter game. I don't care what the drills are,
I don't care what the work is in the day. I care how we go about it. Man. Earn the right. We got to earn the right to be a
fourth quarter team Stop waiting. I wasn’t lying. Balls at the -36. We got 56 seconds. One timeout. We need a touchdown. Older guys that have been in the program
four or five years, Glendon Miller Ruben Hyppolite, Dante Trader is
going into his fourth year. They have seen the steps that has taken over the last
four years to get where we are now. That's the secret sauce this year. We have those guys that have seen how hard it was to go
from three wins to seven wins, eight wins. Now we want to take it to a new level. Ready? Ready. there's a big group of guys
that have been here for three, four plus years that have seen the transformation,
and they've all gone through it together. The bond that we've created
and the culture that we've set. Ready, Ready. It's something that, you know,
while I'm here, I want to cherish. Let's go. Let's go. Wale is at our practice, come to Maryland. It's okay. Everything I gave you,
everything so I’m not even worried. Wow. “Gave” is crazy. No one’s given me ****, alright? I earn everything. Call mom All right, let's talk about it. 2022,
Indiana game, bro. That game was fun. We had two touchdown drives. We're already behind. You helped us come back
and you had more rushing yards than Indiana had. Billy is... He's been that great number two
for us for a long time Like he’s come in and played some great games and
made some great impressions on everybody. You bring swagger to the game. You bring swagger to the game on
and off the field. But on the field, like three touchdowns
against Michigan this year, Edwards touchdown That’s the most rushing touchdowns I’ve ever had
in a game, man. He’s a blood and guts guy. His teammates all love him. For a while, he hasn't been the starter and he's never changed
in the way that he's approached his work or in the way that he's approached
this process. Now we see what you're capable of,
so imagine how much more we can get out of you. Cam Edge. A lot like Billy, man. Me, Cam. Billy. We've kind of been in the foxhole together
for a long time. I'll tell you what. There's a couple of things
you don't want to do with Cam, as you don't want to get an argument. Whenever he's done playing ball,
he should be a lawyer because he can sit there and argue. Till his teeth fall out. You don’t want to get in a fight
because he will kick you to the chin and knock you out,
not literally, but he can. So he says the first day of the summer that he was in ninth grade
when Cameron went to work out, he had a strength and conditioning coach Cameron said he ran him through squat
and put him through the ringer. And he said the next day Cameron
was the only ninth grader that came back. He told Cameron, Either
you want it more than most or you're kind of used
to this type of activity, Cameron said. Probably both My friends would tell you, like when they came over, they had to work out
or they had to go next door and wait for me to get done. And back
then, I really didn't like it. But now it makes going to Terp time easy
and I go in the weight room already easy because like they prepare me
for that many years ago. So he definitely deserves more credit
than I do for everything coming from a place of always being the best and now like not knowing what's going to happen to maintain his attitude
the way that he does, I couldn't be prouder of how he has conducted himself through the whole process. Billy right now is playing at a very high level. Cam is playing at a high level. M.J. is starting when he knows what to do. It's going to be interesting. It's going to be interesting. every year. We say it even since my first year here
where I didn't know, you know, a whole lot of stuff
yet about the Maryland football program. I firmly believe now is now
is the time in the sense of we have the right guys in the right spots
starting to come together. It’s starting to come together. It's like, when you know you cookin’. Life after Taulia. Let’s see what’s going on with
the younger talent stepping up Life after Taulia. Got all eyes on us. Everybody's trying to play big, man. Everybody's trying to start.
Everybody wants to be on the field. There's
only one of those spots on the field, and that needs to be a consistent spot
and nerve wracking as a parent because everybody watches the quarterback. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. I can win with all three of these guys
that have competed and they're getting better. And I see it every day. I like the trajectory of it. They're ready. Here are the Terrapins and now your
starting line up at quarterback...
