[Music] outy I'm [Music] beging hi my name is sax and I play Frankie Valley I'm Michael and I play Nick Massie I'm K playing Bob cordio I'm Oscar and I'm playing Tommy deito in Knox grammar's Centenary production of Jersey Boys I'm Tanya mitf I'm the director of co-curricular theater here at noox grammar school from K to 12 and I have the great privilege of being the director and choreographer of Jersey Boys for cenery musical there are so many options of fantastic musicals that is big enough for our Centenary but what better show than Jersey Boys which is about four guys who come together share their skills and their passion for music and Performing and end up completely taking over the world it is such an honor to play a lead in the Centenary musical in such a important year for nox's history and to get to perform on the wonderful stage this incredible experience like to be a part of the show and to play these characters because of the history they have it's just such an amazing honor to be a part of this tapestry I'm very honored to be a part of it the fact that I get to go out there on the 100 years musical it's amazing well seeing this set for the first time has been an unreal experience to just know that this is actually the show that's going to go on we've had a really fun rehearsal Camp during our school holidays to get us really prepared and ready for our technical rehearsals and performance Jersey Boys the musical absolutely brings out the best in our nox students and our Knox performing artists along with their sister schools it's just been incredible to see them all collaborate and work with each other so it's such a treat to see them work together and bring out the best in each other working with everyone's been really good I've met a lot of people in the cast that I've been know previously a lot of the people um from girl schools that have come into it it's good to know that KNX is branchy out and getting people involved in something that brings are brought together everyone really is putting their aame into this and it's so noticeable especially us four boys we've gone away and we know these people we know their stories and we're really transforming becoming them it's we're not just reading the words on the on the script we're going and we're Googling finding books movies anything we can to help tell their story and bring it to life the cast and crew have been just spectacular and in achieving what we needed to do they have been so efficient and so awesome I can't like commend them enough that everyone's giving it their all because they know how much it means to everyone I'm a border so obviously don't have my family with me all the time but the cast and crew here become a real second family to me and it's been really incredible the tech crew that we have here at noox grammar school and the facilities they have access to allows them to use that equipment in particular concerts and musical as Grand as this and having our industry connectors come in and share with them their expertise and knowledge Jersey Boys is a wonderful show it's the ultimate ragster Rich's tale of this band who worked so hard from the ground up and their aspiration for their dreams I think is something that we can all learn from oh what a night why it take so long to see the seems soong but now it seems so right [Music] surrender oh night [Applause] Jersey Boys Centon musical loving every second of it yeah it was great you can really see like the hard work they've all put in the commitment so that was great absolutely extraordinary uh I've never sat down for as long as I have and had my foot tapping away with all the music the choreography the talent and the young people on stage have just set the world aik at nox grammar school thoroughly enjoyed it it was amazing Jersey Boys our Centenary musical has really brought out the nox values in these students their integrity their compassion their wisdom their faith in each other and their courage to achieve what they need to achieve has just been mindblowing to witness and such a privilege to see them Achieve Beyond where they thought they could
