Dieng bronze over 1500 in the Euros and now goes in the 400s. 22 years of age. There is loads of class here. T20 intellectual impairment category. One lap to see who becomes the Paralympic champion of Tokyo 2020. Away they go. Blango gets off to a very good start. Also out from the far side is Rodriguez Bolivar, the bronze medallist from the world's a couple of years ago, looking very strong indeed on that far side. They've got around 220 metres left to go. And sitting back, three back from the end, is Columba Blango. Bolivar looking really good indeed. He's looking very strong as they round up and it's going to be a race in five at the moment, as Rodriguez Bolivar is there, Rodriguez Ramirez on the inside. Looking really strong down the outside, it's Kouakou, he looks like he's going to get up there. Kouakou yes, he gets it, 47.63. Takes it in first place, Kouakou. That was a fantastic finish from the Frenchman. Charles Anton Kouakou. Fifth in 2019. He won silver recently. He takes the gold at the Paralympic Games. Rodriguez Bolivar might have picked up the silver and Columba Blango has the bronze. It's France with a new European record of 47.63. They take the gold. Venezuela in second place and Great Britain in third. It was a wonderful effort. Around five in the running with about 120 metres to go. They rounded up. Rodriguez Bolivar looked like he had the running of it, but in the end it was that man in the T20 category over 400 metres. Kouakou becomes the Paralympic champion in Tokyo 2020, 47.63 for a lifetime best for him. >> All athletes ran a season's best, just incredible, shows how fast this track is. And what a well-paced event. Well paced by Kouakou. Didn't notice him until the final straight and the other two, Rodriguez and Blango, Blango coming through at the end but leaving it a bit too late. Bolivar with a gutsy performance. Able to hang in for the silver. Kouakou just all about the timing. >> There was less than a second and a half separating all these athletes. Quite incredible. Could have thrown a blanket over all of them. But Kouakou, Blango of Great Britain on the inside there looked like he'd timed his run perfectly but if anything maybe he met it a bit too late. It's France who take it through Kouakou with a record of 47.63. Bolivar, 47.71, a best for him and Blango of Great Britain picks up the bronze. Have a look at that across-the-board. Lifetime bests everywhere! Incredible.
