actually celebrated our oneyear anniversary pause yes for those that don't know we began this podcast Journey uh exactly one year ago yesterday uh we connected with some some people via the let's talk sports network shout out to those guys over there shout out to Tanner uh wanted us to do a Thursday night postgame show uh myself M and there were actually supposed to be two other individuals who were supposed to do this show with us uh Tom and was didn't work out it ended up just being Me and Mar and that's how he and I connected and we've been going strong ever since football season came to an end uh we we had such a good time in working together we wanted to keep it going yes sir and the audible Sports podcast was born yes it was um so uh my shout out is to you happy man not only that man this dude like yes they're 24 hours in the day I think yesterday you might have poed for like 20 of them but the shout out but uh I got to be all serious um I don't think this uh this situation happens um without uh uh the late great uh uh Dave Harris um Dan yeah definitely shout out Dan yeah Dan Dan had um he had hit me up he was like yo um I'm needing somebody for a guest and lo and behold it was uh ended up being that Thursday night uh and uh man uh we wish Dan was here but I hey man we gonna keep his memory alive as he uh uh you know now one year later uh the audible was spawn because of his connection and uh so so shout out to him him and and let his so rest in peace and and uh condolences again I know it's been a minute since he's past but uh it's not a moment I don't think about that man uh you know he was so uh he was so intrical for connecting a lot of people in his podcast game that absolutely have no idea um but he's the common denominator for a lot of folks so um hopefully his uh his family has has found some peace uh and knowing that he has uh play an intrical part inaudible uh so yeah we gonna keep doing our thing for Dan man so uh I want to make sure that uh that gets said as well so um AB no I didn't mean to steal your thunder I just wanted to make sure that we get good man flowers man because uh uh who knows uh I don't know I don't know if me and Bobby meet if it wasn't for them so absolutely I mean lots of flowers to go around definitely uh a good ball could them deserve to land on his his doorstep yeah yeah we definitely miss you buddy condolences to your families um yeah man he's he's connected many many AP there there's a lot lot of people uh in this game who probably wouldn't be around or maybe maybe even who started as a hobby and maybe took it a little bit more serious because of Dan hair so absolutely Co coign HS and everything you said um go back to Allan shout out to Allan what's happening bro Elvis Andrews retired to with it I've I've come to terms with it you know I don't mind talking to the young but um it took me took me a long time to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up and this is that as a result of that and the reason that is is because uh when I was coming up like y'all heard what biggy said either you slang a crack rock or you got a wicked jump shot for sure so it was like certain ways out of of my situation growing up um I chose the one I was like many of us I was an athlete played basketball played football uh not so much baseball but we weren't conditioned to think of a plan B like if you didn't have that in your mind if you didn't grow up hey I want to be a fireman I want to be if you didn't grow up like that if if you literally said I I want to go to the to the league when I grow up that was literally you were you were one sing you had a one track mind and that was it yeah and because of that like there are there are many a black young man who grew up to be a grown man who are full of sports knowledge with zero outlet and that's because coming up we didn't have a Stephen A Smith to look up to and I say that name because he's who I'm going to shout out wow like like I gotta this like my favorite television per personality and this is another rip it's probably Stuart Scott man Stuart Scott was the man if if you've never seen Stuart Scott operate don't know who he is definitely after the show go check him out on YouTube as well he's one of the greatest but steuart St Scott came along I was already grown like I didn't get chance to see him as a kid so it was like I didn't know this particular career path existed coming up or it was something I definitely would have pursu there were not a lot of people on TV who look like me to give me that example to be like yeah this is something I can do um Sten a is at to a lot of people currently but as the saying goes you know players [ __ ] up players [ __ ] up and uh today you we say a lot of crazy stuff on this show yeah he was at Stewart Scott was L yeah he was he was the goat at ESPN absolutely they Legend um Stephen A just I just look said we say a lot of crazy stuff man just just Ste take it away harrass us even further ladies and gentlemen New Yorkers don't eat pizza like that we usually eat the tip first not the damn crust [Laughter] whoa who Steve oh my God you you eat what first to wild every every day man shout out him not not only for that just being being an example uh for the Youth as as somewhere to somewhere to go somewhere to be something something to uh reach andain um you know what Bobby H now that you say this and you know I I was a big fan of Stephen A and then uh you know some of his roric I kind of kind of pushed back on and I don't really much anymore but you know what you're right um I think because he he he I think he's playing a character and he plays it well oh yeah absolutely but I will say this um you know he's been in the journalist business for like 20 plus years uh you know did his thing uh previously years on ESPN sometime go uh got fired and he came back and now he's probably one of the most paid employees at at ESPN yeah for for as much as uh some of the things I don't like that he does or says and and and sometimes I think he uh he definitely uh drives a certain narrative I'm willing to take that put that to the side and and and literally listen to what you just said and I'm like you know what Bob's right um there's not a lot of people in that space that he's in that were examples uh for for young black boys or girls uh so um you know I'm I'm hoping that people can take the uh the disdain for Stephen A and put it to the side and just say hey you know what man thank you because there are uh probably a lot of doors that are still shut if we don't have Stephen A on the scene so I'm willing to I'm willing to admit that for sure uh you know I'm not his biggest fan anymore like I used to I I I man I thought he was dope man for real and and literally but you know some some especially some of the things he would say towards Kyrie or Katie or something the you know more prominent black athletes and I kind of felt like he didn't always have that same Energy across the board but that's neither here nor there and that's a different conversation but a man I can always I can always admit when there is somebody that has made a stamp and has you know play some trails and yes Ste to to uh you know uh to the credit that he's worked his ass off uh to be one of the highest paid employees at ESPN uh getting that good Disney money um hey he he deserves some flowers just as much as you uh want to throw some hate at them uh so I mean it's it's he he's like a bag of uh kettle corn you know there's some sweetness to it to it so absolutely Allan Right and I'm go I know he get like it's which is it's crazy to me he gets a lot of hate from our community and like I know I know a lot was was uh during the time when uh Max was on first take and I know people used to always jokeing y Max is like black and stepen to the point where T to actually went on the show and said it and a lot came from that that was like yeah it's like you sit back and look like like I don't think people like realize as like look at the amount of people Stephen W Stephen a paid way for marcelis Wy who's doing his own thing now uh got got in the gate first first dat Dominique Foxworthy uh Rob Parker the the num number guys Stephen A's like helped literally Shan Shannon Sharp's care could have ended with the Undisputed thing Stephen A put this man right back on TV three months later like he could have went the P purgatory and kind of faded away after building up uh his audience and reputation with the whole falling out from Undisputed Stephen A made sure that didn't happen he got the man right back on TV at the biggest Network um like he does stuff he doesn't get credit for it and I say you might not agree with everything he says I don't agree with everything he says course no like it's debate for a yeah but the doors absolutely Marcus Spears uh y Kendrick Perkins like you the the amount of people he's open the door for and and again like I say just being that figure there like said I didn't have that growing up yeah there was no the only only I had Trey Wingo I had you know uh was the a man I'm losing his name he could go Burman see Burman uh hell I'll take it back and name people might not know uh what was dude's name the Sports Machine show you show you come on like a m yeah where Mel Sports Machine but again none of these guys look like me so it was like I didn't know hey you know what if you don't make it to the NFL hey keep pushing because you can do this you can take all that knowledge and information and that you gathered from playing sports and and transfer to this to this and like like many kids after Sports failed I was like left wondering uh now because of guys like him like I say yeah because of him you have that outlet you can you can create a lane look at the guys who literally just they're not professional athet I have never been professional athletes but they made it in that lane uh so yeah shout out shout out to all those guys man uh the next thing I want tell you it wasn't on the rundown but I'm going bring it on this came late I played the clip first and uh we can get into it man that's what we do it's all we we start conversations so I think it's really just the fans her fans the Iowa fans MH now the Indiana fans that are like they R for her and I and I respect that respectfully but sometimes it's very disrespectful um I think there's a lot of racism when it comes to it and I don't believe she stands on any of that but when it comes to death threats like I'm talking about people have come down to my address following me home like it's come down to that multiple occasions people have made AI pictures of me like naked literally really they have sent it to my family members my family members are like uncles are sending it to me like no are you naked on Instagram so I think it's really like that's why this has got big today um people saying that Angel's like blaming their rivalry on the fans fan base obviously her she touched on her fan base in Iowa and then transferring to the to Indiana there there's like for me this is like split in half most people know on on the on the basketball side of things Caitlyn versus angel I'm I'm team Caitlyn I do not dislike Angel Reese I dislike the way she's handled certain situations but in an instance like this this is like I don't think this has anything to do with Caitlyn Clark now I can't I'm not going to comment on I'm not going to take my comments to far because I didn't watch this getting I didn't hunt down the segment to see how the question was posed so I don't know like in what context conversation story she's given this answer what I will say is uh for her I don't think it has anything to do with Katon Clark I think it's a angel reain the reason I say that is because she has that one of those type of personalities if I could make a comparison for her she's the WNBA version of Russell Westbrook now with that being said look what happens to Russ when he goes to a Utah when he goes to a Boston when he goes to an Indiana when it you get when he goes to a I don't know Allan you you get me out there how with this when he goes to well no he's loved in OKC so we won't discount them we disc he's loved in OKC but when he goes to a Sacramento when he goes to these towns where the population may not be in his favor would say it like that the population in the stands may not be in his favor and Utah and Boston are probably two of the more notorious places he faces the same kind of vitriol he he you know so I don't know if it's so much on I think it's just she plays with that kind of energy that Russ gives off and she she has the type of Personality she gives off that type of energy if Caitlyn Clark didn't exist this is the same type of energy she would be facing from the crowds does that make it right or Fair no absolutely not and I think she has every right to be upset and to call these people out yeah but I would say once again just let's not push it in Caitlin Clark the rest like this this would be happening to you regardless to me but um as far as like yeah F like come on people y'all got to chill out man this is the year 2024 like we still what are we doing we following people home yeah that's wild she she's yeah she's been like and I I've seen her outside like she she was out you know most people watch the show know I live in Vegas uh she was out here during the summer league famously got caught out with Jaylen Brown what's going on there I don't know but uh she' be outside um hey you got to protect yourself I mean this due to the profession you chose and your abilities and your talents uh making you as famous or as popular as recognizable as you are like you have to take extra LS to protect yourself so hopefully you do that again I'm still doesn't make it right but yeah just just know who you are and just man just make sure you're taking the the extra precautions extra steps to protect yourself have F be you but but remember you can't you also can't do certain things true true cuz it yeah like there's a video out out right now you know Team USA was out here prepping and they're coming from somewhere they're talking about going to the club and LeBron is is with them and you see two girls in the background say hey LeBron LeBron LeBron literally ran down the up escalator to get away from from from these women knowing that they can't chase them cuz they got heels on is it for but yeah man protect yourself and I I hate let's keep it on the court man yeah these two women yeah let's these two women are are prepared to carry the WNBA for the next 10 to 15 years they did done an amazing job so far this season let's keep it on the court folks man let's keep it on the on on the court let's watch the show that's the I mean because I think the WNBA has more they're gaining more traction from the kid from the youth so just remember I mean yeah we we're looking up to the athletes remember young fans are looking up to their parents so show your don't don't only teach your kids how to love the game teach them how to be fans let's be better man what what's your thoughts on it I mean I I just think that's that's like people are really going to that that that death and and I understand being a fan and and obviously we know what is short for for fanatic and and inition of it but it you also can't go to those length that you are uh trying to uh disame or or or you know uh misconstrue somebody's uh life and and image and and you know stalking I mean that's that's stalking right what are you you following her home and you got her address like that is that is literally stalkerish Vibes in in in Most states well if I'm correct most 50 states or 50 states that's that's punishable by by law I mean we got to take it to that point to make sure that the that these uh especially uh these young uh lady athletes are are feeling protected then so so be it like let let shorty live but I agree with you 100% there are certain parameters that I think that she needs to take um you know maybe hire a couple of security team to walk with her just you know just to make sure when you out in public at least you know just you know if you got to have a couple standby off duty cops Whatever by the house you know do what you got to do to to make sure that your peace and Tranquility is intact um hey get the uncles out there hey they they they asking you if you you're naked well they need to see if you're safe so hey I got look I got a LLC I got you on the payroll what's good so I mean I'm just saying you know I if I ever you know when me and Bobby get to that point with RI f is uh you know uh couple couple of homies I got they ain't just going to be lounging around with they hand out I'm putting people on the payroll oh yeah yeah um you know I know a couple of cousins right now you know I'm I'mma go ahead and get they uh uh uh you know concealed carry licenses and they gonna go through the whole security training they gonna go they gonna do it all and they gonna be on the pay roll and that's what you you know that's what you can uh uh do for your others and give them a job like I mean I just think this is sick and twisty that we are getting to this point in 2024 that people can't just live their life Liv because of a occupation that she has it's occupation if you break it all down it's an occupation it's a job like like you know we don't come to your McDonald's we no harassing your punk ass you know what I'm saying like uh I don't know this is wild man um yeah hey stay safe out there Ladies Man and gentlemen because it can happen to gentlemen too uh so yeah and downright disgusting it's disturbing right yeah because we hear about this he said we we heard about the uh uh you know the hockey player was killed last weekend he and his brother uh by a drunk driver you had the you know the wide receiver uh for the 49ers who was shot like like this stuff can be taken to the and and these were accidents it wasn't even to this extreme like what do you H think can happen in a situation where she's literally got people following her like if that can happen to them and it's just like oneoff accidents like what do you think can happen to her with intent big facts like so yeah shout out to Angel Reese take care of yourself hey call him people get them uncles out there tell they'll take care of youy I need you do uh one more shout out for you shut this down for me uh shout out to my oldest man his birthday is tomorrow um nice yeah so you know uh Hey proud of him and the things he's doing in his life and yeah so that's all I'm say I ain't gonna put football season I we get into that we shut that one down but um yeah last night season kicked off Chiefs Ravens uh a great game to start the season just like last season except this year Chiefs actually came out on top they came out on top by a big toe a big toe uh exciting plays on both sides of the ball uh two of the best teams in the league potentially uh this is AFC Championship game from a year ago could be a a rematch preview this year um Baltimore definitely look better than they did in that championship game though um overall thoughts on the game and what you know what do you see from both teams going forward this season yeah man um uh good good victory um obviously uh Chief Chiefs offense uh uh I thought they was kind of playing with they food last night I I don't I don't even think that that game should have been as close as it was uh only was able to muster six points off of turnovers uh if they convert those into touchdowns we're having a different conversation and scoreboard looks a lot different um uh Chris Jones uh I didn't he he he must have heard me say miles Garrett last week when I play of the year because that man was unlockable last night uh could couldn't be stopped um you know uh as far when it comes to the Chiefs uh I mean it this is this is kind of the benefit I see uh when Andy Reid uh plays him pretty uh uh in the preseason and and gets those guys going and kind of work some of the Kinks out so as I say that I fli to the to the Ravens side uh I don't recall Lamar or Derek Henry doing a lot of preseason uh and it showed it was some Kinks that if you play preseason you kind of knock some of those Kinks out um obviously uh you know D Henry is used to uh you know getting the rock uh and and you know you're standing single back or high form type of formation uh not next to the quarterback and shotgun formation so they got to work that out um and Lamar is com more comfortable playing in the shotgun than under Center uh and it's it's just uh some of the some of the Kinks that they got to work out definitely with that offensive line uh they better correct it quick before they get into division play because uh there's other three teams in that division is going going make them really pay for having bad offensive line play um and uh it was just weird because they went straight down the field at the first drive and they just couldn't recreate it right for the rest of the game uh look both of these teams are going to be in it um come uh January they're going to be in the thick of the of the AFC playoff uh but man um I mean Mar man I love I love your game I love it I really do but you you got to make there's certain throws you just got to make yeah he oh that that Miss in the back of the end zones you gota make make that throw yeah yeah um you and your wide receivers got to get get a connection man um so I'm I'm not GNA put it all on him I there's some things that uh you know uh when we broke it down last night they got they I mean Isaiah likely can't tight end he's a man oh oh yeah he's he's he's different but but you know I you got wide receivers man you you been drafted at least couple of them guys in the first round and non existed so I mean hey hey look I I don't want to put too much emphasis on a opening game game one week one but the fact that your opponent is somebody that you're more than likely going to see down the road in the playoffs and you don't want to be stuck behind that person because of a breaker uh that made that game a little bit more important than than most week one games so uh no overall great game uh let's see if Packers and and Eagles could could live up to the billing or or uh match it I doubt it uh because I think I just saw a stat um they released the uh the ratings and that was the most highest watch uh week one game of all time they say there like 20 29 million people that watch that so um yeah it lived up to the billing man uh that's what happens when you get Ravens Chiefs Lamar Jackson Patrick Mahomes on one field uh you you get you get close games like that damn near every time and and barn burners um I know it says five five uh victories for Mahomes one uh for uh Lamar in in the uh you know including playoffs um but everybody goes back and look at all those matchups they've been closed every time uh I was surprised that that was a very dramatic game um but yeah e Eagles and and Packers got their work cut out tonight man they got their work cut out uh do you think one thing I noticed is uh I think Patrick Queen was was sorely missed uh because it was a lot lot of those passes over the middle quick over the middle and you know he's there he's he's one of the better coverage linebackers in the league he's there uh what do you think his absence how do you think his absence will impact that defense going forward I mean it's it's uh in in in one game it was it was pretty glaring uh as much as I like roquan Smith uh you know uh he was even exposed from time to time in that uh in that passing game uh and he was uh and Rashid rice was just having a field day over the middle um right what makes it worse is Patrick Queen goes to a division rival and one of your hated Rivals he goes to Pittsburgh he he helps Pittsburgh's defense and and just that addition uh for Pittsburgh makes them uh look slightly better than uh the subtraction of uh losing him for the Ravens I think it makes that much of a difference uh they got to get that figured out um I don't know if they're going to make a move before trade deadline um they got to do something because uh if you think uh you know uh T Higgins or you know Omari hell even Jerry Judy didn't watch that game last night know they looking they chops they like oh man I'm I'm about to be in that middle dog I'm about to eat it up so yeah man it's yeah man uh uh they you got to figure that out uh Patrick Queen is um I don't know why they didn't Reign him uh I guess they didn't want to match the money that Pittsburgh gave him but um it was shown it was definitely shown last night yeah and I also agree with you yeah we got to do something I thought I think they've been going after the wrong type of wide receiver you know I'm I'm a big believer that uh you are who you are it's difficult to change if you look if you take any team in NFL NFL and just look back at their history they like they are who they are Baltimore is the same team now that they were in 2000 when they won the Super Bowl run first play defense keep it close pull it out at the end uh the only difference is they don't have a Ray Lewis um they do have a better quarterback but if you look just look at the type of receivers that they had they had big physical tough receivers who could bully corners on the outside they don't have that now to me they're they're trying to they're trying to be pretty in the passing game and be physical in the running game and it's like no just just be physical all around go get you go get you another Anquan Balden like how how good this team was when they had Anquan Balden and then you had a quarterback who could go downfield n we're not going to get you this this pretty flashy receiver we're goingon to give you big an Juan bow and let you and I mean they won a Super Bowl so yeah like stop playing these teams go go get stop trying to be pretty on the outside just be physical all around get back to who you are get a big physical Target that Lamar can't miss when he throws outside when you need to get you know that 10 to 15 yard out or comeback route get get him a big boy out there so but n they want to keep playing around with these these 61 and under receivers and this is what you like this is what you're getting and yeah it's going to take you more you can't you can't do everything in the middle of the field all game like gotta open it up on the outside hey you said it man yeah you sum it up perfect right there bro for you guys uh for the Chiefs I just stop it just stop just just stop like man uh bro how if I'm the Raiders the Chargers the Broncos and I'm watching that game I'm okay so so that's two losses right oh man that's two that's two losses like come on like in the rest of the league is I'm not looking forward to playing you guys the only only reason I'm looking forward to playing you guys it's because it's in Cleveland if it's in Cleveland if we was going to against the city yeah late in the season in Cleveland it's going to be ugly I think we can ugly it up and if the season goes High I feel it's going to go uh desan will be playing He he'll be he'll be playing his game so it should be a good game to watch but man I'm glad we don't play y'all like week three or four or something like that man man uh I'm actually well that I think that was one of the losses I had put when I said the Chiefs was going to go 13 and four only because um uh like you said you guys play so much different at home with your defense uh and uh physical game uh late in the season uh man uh that's that's tough to uh you know combat with uh home crowds going to be going crazy um you definitely know that the dog pound's going to be in full effect wanting to uh oh yeah that's yeah one of them on oh yeah hey hey you get us that game cuz I'm trying to tell you come playoff time man uh the the switch gets turned to another level so but but hey uh like we like like I predicted last week um I'm still sticking with Browns Chiefs in the AFC Championship game so uh even if you guys get us that that uh a regular season game it's okay we we'll see each other each other down the road and somebody got to get to New Orleans and and we we'll we'll see what's up there but uh more football tonight uh like you said hey Eagles Packers um hey all eyes on you kicking off in Brazil uh we apologize for the NFL sending you out there Behind Enemy Lines how they got to feel like they in the military or something D they out there walking that fence on the Packers bandwagon I've been stating that for the last uh couple of weeks um I'm a big believer in Jordan love last year I picked them to win the division they let me down but they did make the playoffs um so they backed me up a little bit uh this year uh they are my pick to represent the NFC in Super Bowl uh so in order that H to happen I think they got to get off to a fast start I think it starts tonight uh I like I'm I'm said it last night I'm looking for Jordan love to take more command of the team more leadership more hus um looking for him to definitely take that next step I think Josh Jacobs is going to be a huge help to that having a guy behind you you can hand and hand the ball off to and not worry about is huge just just ask Baker Mayfield when he used to hand that thing off to Nick chub MH um my only I need I need Christian Watson I need him to take a step forward he let a lot of pastors hit the ground need you to short them hands go get some new gloves sign you a new deal let's get some more uh t tfic on things go yeah go old school go get you some newans hey them Newman I ain't used to drop a damn thing I thing up there I'm catching it uh and Matt laflor looking for you to take that next step as AE coach um you you're letting uh The Whiz Kids Shan McVey and uh and uh Shanahan you're letting them have all the fun hey hop into the party show them that you don't need Aaron Rogers matter of fact show them that you're better without Aaron Rodgers so and that starts tonight we the Philadelphia the most confused team in the NFL last year they were the last undefeated team but they were playing terrible football the whole season and everybody knew it um they gave away some money this year uh Devonte Smith gave you some of it gave AJ Brown some of it gave saquin some of it this this team is reminded me of the year uh was it Vince Young said that they had a dream team and then they went out went out there and won all of six games this team is kind of reminding me like it has that kind of potential uh I think they get beat down tonight but as far as the rest of the season uh how do you how do you see or how do you see going tonight and how do you see play play out for both of these teams going going forward I I think it's going to be a close game um I'm definitely uh I do agree with you to that point where I think the Packers are going to be a better team uh but I I went with the Eagles tonight only on this uh uh stance is that they gota they gotta play better than what they did down the stretch last year and absolutely playoff game uh that was that was a pathetic showing um yeah they play a playoff game like [ __ ] it yeah um it was it was it was a very pathetic uh showing um but I mean it's uh it's one of those things where uh I just think that the uh just to keep just keep the noise down in Philly cuz uh you talking about Fanatics y'all go out and play like y'all did last year and them uh them Philly Fanatics gonna be on your head uh so uh you gota you gotta you know put you gotta Cil that real quick um so uh I'm I'm it's just one of those things where um I think the uh uh the Eagles uh I kind of think they're going to be floating around 500 all season um just because uh uh I don't think too much is g to change I I think serani is on the hot seat if you ask me um that's fair very fair to be honest I'm I'm just going to be uh Frank about it um it's it's just too much noise coming out that camp uh whether it's true or not it's still noise and you you already know when there's smoke eventually somebody getting fired so yeah they I think they're going to have a frustrating season for uh for Eagles fans uh Packers I I don't I actually see them I think I put them in the NFC championship game against uh Detroit so uh that's how that's how high I am on uh with Jordan love in the uh in the Packers this year so we'll see how it turns out absolutely uh looking forward G like said I don't think it'll be exciting I think I think it'' be some big plays though I think the Eagles will probably make some big plays too um uh will we see Jason kelse is retired uh will we see the tus push will that continue to be a thing the man cuz Jason Kelsey was like the main Cog of that uh short yarders that's hard to say um because I think they'll try it I don't think it'll be be as successful just because you said uh I mean you said it he was the the uh the spearhead of that that move um and also just because his veteran presence isn't there I also think that's the reason why they're going to struggle this year because he he won't have he won't have that that that senior voice to you know [ __ ] down in the locker room you know fet is he's another veteran voice that is gone kind of calm all this situation down so uh as much as those two guys are retiring and missing you're going to miss them on the field I think they're going to also miss their presence in the locker room man uh so I think that matters too how much pressure you think is on Jaylen Herz I mean you know it wasn't too long ago uh because of the style he plays that the word on the street hey Jaylen Herz is better than Lamar Jackson oh he's way better than you don't hear that now uh how much pressure is on him to you know get back to to his uh to to the trajectory he was on yeah um and this crazy you say that um I was one of the people that said I thought he kind of outplayed Patrick Mahomes in that Super Bowl to certain I was one of people calling people crazy um I mean you know you take away that fumble that he had it turn turned into a touchdown and and that's you know that kind of hurts but um stats wise and and play of the game just watching it he he he went Toe to Toe for Patrick and and to a certain extent I thought he kind of outplayed him um but he couldn't make the plays down the field or down the stretch uh in that crunch time uh and of course Patrick didn't and that's the reason why they want Super Bowl um pressure uh I mean financially ain't no pressure he already got paid so um true but uh when it comes to uh performing uh I mean we we seen quarterbacks get paid in Philly and you don't perform I mean we saw Carson went got paid um but then Carson went didn't he didn't start playing like he was uh for the reason why he got paid and uh the fans made it loud and clear they said we don't care how much money you pay we don't want him no more uh to be fair though he tore his ACL true true but I'm I'm just pting a picture of how these fans in Philly get if you don't perform they don't care what the reason is they're looking at you like uh I Mr Mr 50 plus Million Dollar Man uh you you playing like like a $2 man so and they will let you know so uh I think there is a certain amount of pressure um but I say this serani goes before Herz will so oh absolutely there's some leeway for Herz because obviously they know that that you got to make sure you got a quarterback and he shown he can play uh I don't know what it was last year I you know maybe he was hurt um you know maybe he was dealing with some other stuff that we don't know about but uh yeah there there's a certain amount of pressure I don't I don't know how much you can measure on it but there's definitely some pressure there for him to perform well this year all right all right and that uh who you got winning yeah uh tonight uh Eagles um okay because they need it you left you left your fans with a bad taste in your mouth uh last year so yeah they need it boys need it all right I got the pack I got the Packers I don't even think it's be close I'mma I'mma I'mma lock it in with score I'mma say uh I'm go 3420 3420 I like that it's ni yeah nice nice entertaining game that isn't close I like that uh and get to the good stuff man uh looking ahead to Sunday's action I know you know you going to take it easy and relax and you know enjoy your Victory the rest of us we got sweat out on Sunday um game of the week for the first time a long time my Browns you know and I say again people don't get used to this uh if you want to see us do this make sure to watch us Thursdays after Thursday Night Football it's kickoff weekend so be kind of doing you know doing a combined thing doing our thing T night uh before we get into the predictions which people can clearly see and they can read yeah I think we have an audience that can read uh yeah is there a particular game especially since your team's already out of the way particular game that you're looking forward to watching um I thought I'd never say this but I'm looking forward to seeing that Raiders Chargers game because I want to see how the Chargers look um with with Harbaugh back in the NFL um I'm curious to see what kind of offense he's gonna Implement um obviously we're used to him doing a very run first type of offense uh that he did at Michigan so he he has Justin Herbert so is is he going to let Justin Herbert Beat Justin Herbert or he going to try to turn him into JJ McCarthy um and then uh with with uh with the Raiders uh you know I I I need to see how how uh how much fun is Devonte Adams going to have this year uh is he uh is he going to be okay and and do his thing and still play ball or is he going to make some some noise and say hey man I don't care how much y'all jok is paid me get me the hell up out of here before this trade deadline so um I'm I'm I'm interested to see see that match up um but when it comes to you guys and cowboys uh I'm going to be short physicalness always beats finesse physicality always cils finesse and uh Cowboys ain't got enough physicality in them it just don't it ain't there it ain't there not even not even with Zeke back and damn Zeke is back man Z Zeke got taken out by the cone when remind me of the Browns four years ago it's like got all this Talent now they just need to put it together um I think they can do a better job than we did and our say we made the playoffs and then kind of regress the next season I don't see this team regressing from last season I think they can keep pushing so I want to see those guys demolish the Denver Broncos because be fair I mean most people in Cleveland really despise the Steelers for me it's I don't despise I despise the different Broncos wow yeah uh it sucks because my best friend was a huge Broncos fan so what did John laway do to you dog uh he beat us three times in AFC Championship game that's what he did hey you know what the same same harsh feelings you got for John Elway trust me I do too he he crushed a lot of my childhood dreams and uh uh caused me to swear a lot as a kid and I got in trouble for it it was all his fault he used to break heart man oh my God yeah and that that'll be I'll let people let people in the door that's when I was a little kid I was my my second favorite football team was the San Francisco 49ers because they got me some get back Broncos went to that Super Bowl and Joe Montana they smacked the hell out of the Bronco I was so happy smack smack is smack being very very pedestrian in describing what happened in that Super Bowl yeah still this still the biggest blowout in Super Bowl history I think oh man they kick they ass yeah 5510 oh yeah um they also my first bet I ever won in football game was uh 49ers beat the Bengals in the Super Bowl so again uh yeah man 49ers I I used to roll with them when I was a little kid so just give people a peak behind the curtain but uh let's get to these picks obviously last night I that you see on on the we are 0 and 0 and0 this is put together obviously clearly before the games were played and you can clearly see that I missed last night's game so I'm 0 and one Mars one and0 uh but I think I got a good shot of catching up especially my Packers come through tonight mhm uh so we'll skip straight to uh Carolina and the Saints uh I'm I'm just hoping Carolina can do do right by their Young quarterback uh Mr Young uh but like those that heard last night man he needs to get on the field call Justin field see he needs to do get out of Carolina I don't like him there that's D dog how'd you get out of Chicago give me some advice how I can get out of care get out of there but I do I do like them better than the Saints uh I don't I don't know what the game plan is in New Orleans like what are I don't know like I just uh here you here you go with Pittsburgh going down to Atlanta taking on the Falcons um I'm higher on the Steelers than a lot of people are uh I believe Russ is going to have a bounce back I say bounceback because he didn't have a bad year last year he was just in Denver um I believe Mike Tomlin is a better Coach than Shawn pyton and I believe I believe this is the at this this point in his career Mike Tomlin is the kind of Coach Russ Russell Wilson needs um I love to pick up a Patrick Queen on that defense I don't like it for my Browns uh I know we got Kurt Cousins in Atlanta but we really don't know what we're going to get from all these exciting parts we have Kyle Pitt is been disappointing I don't know how he's going to perform uh Drake London's been disappointing like we don't know coach hasn't used bejan right we really don't know their defense is decent yeah but I don't know what I'm going to get from the offense uh for that reason I got to go with Pittsburgh on the road I feel it I feel it um I I understand your calls were concerned but they got half the problem out of the door when they uh gave the boot to both uh not only uh the quarterbacks that was there but uh as as well as Arthur Smith so hopefully we get a different result with the uh uh with the Falcons this year and I definitely love the transactions that they did off season so we'll see what happens to struggle um fantasy owners if you have B knck please don't start him I got the Seahawks all day in this one fantasy owners why would you draft him you know he got two quarterback leads and all kind you know and a lot of people are high on B Knicks man I ain't this before yes it is this is no alcohol needed you know yeah the offensive player of the year ooo that's a bold one that's a bold one enough to keep Devonte Adams happy uh for those who saw the the Netflix series receiver he was really really close asking to be up out of there last season that was because he wasn't getting the ball not only well they were losing and he wasn't getting the ball that's a bad combination I don't see them winning a lot of games I see them winning maybe seven games at Best I don't think not getting the ball will be an issue Gardner muu does a pretty decent job of getting the ball to his man like he's done that at his stops but I could see I could see Devonte hasing to be up out of there about to trade that line but uh wouldn't be surprised wouldn't be surprised for this week uh screw Harbaugh he doesn't have his signal stealer I like the Raiders a oh wow um yeah uh I'm just not big on hard
