Anitta TEASES NFL Halftime in Brazil, New Song & VMAs Performance (Exclusive)

I'm here with Brazilian music sensation Anita and we are talking everything from music to dancing to fashion fashion fashion girl yes what an important day I'm super happy to be here thank you for being here too of course of course okay so let's talk about your collaboration because I love your outfits I mean you stun all the time so tell me how this happened and tell me about your collection I think oh this happened a long time ago not that long but like few years ago and I think we I'm have a very ecletic style you know most of the times I like to feel sexy but uh I also like to mix it up a little and also I think when I bring my dancers and all types of bodies with me in my music videos on stage I like to bring like all the different beauties that you know that we we should admire and I like to admire and uh I think Sheen has a lot of that and in my collection too we have like all the different sizes and all the different shapes and uh Styles too so I think it matches very much my work I love that so you got a commitment to inclusivity so tell me a little bit about what you're wearing today because you're right you love the Bold prints the little cutout here and there and that's reflected in the collection yes I feel like uh this collection is very important to me because it brings like the the different fabric and the idea of sustainability and uh using Fabrics they're not so aggressive to the environment that's something it's very important for me it's a subject that that I really care about even because Brazil has such big nature and that's the main uh important subject in my life at the moment so my outfit today is very sexy okay okay the 360 like me I like to feel sexy most of the times and uh I like this outfit not only because it's sexy but it's very comfortable and has the animal print that I I also love L I love it well you look amazing in it so mission accomplished U but mission's always accomplished uh so who did Anita design for like who was the woman that you had in mind or person that you had in mind when this was coming out so we had this idea of bringing different designers and uh from different countries different places and one of the designers is actually uh she did my whole like Tour all the outfits for my tour so she did some outfits too when we photographed with it and so I like the idea of having different people showing their cultures I think this brings like also like information people can learn also with the way you dress you know so that's how this came together with with different uh designers thinking you know so there's 75 pieces what do I mean is it dresses pants what is it we have a little bit of everything skirts dresses pants and tops um there there are some of them that I was actually wearing on my vacation before it was out I was like I have to Ste we were in a photo shoot and I was like I have to to steal these pieces cuz I'm going on vacation right now so some of the pieces I was just wearing in vacation uh a couple weeks ago and uh we have some things more like summer Vibes but we also have like more like for the cold season we have a little bit of everything cuz I like to mix it up and I'm always traveling so sometimes it can be like uh winter for everybody here but it's summer in Brazil you know and then I'm there performing but then I travel very quick to somewhere else and I have a winter are week so I think it matches a lot my lifestyle yeah so the fan who wants to dress like you you're telling them that you wear these clothes oh so much yes and you can see in my music videos it's fun in Brazil because um I do always I always Louch my my collection and then I go on tour in Brazil the summer tour and uh when I'm on stage I can see them wearing the outfits that I wore like in my music videos or they saw me wearing some wear and then they come dressed exact the way I used the outfit where they saw me either in the streets or either in a music video or a picture or something and they come dressing the same outfit and they say oh and then I I bring them on stage cuz they print the picture and they're like oh I'm wearing the outfit so I really like it because they they actually recognize my collection not only in the pictures that I take to show the collection but also when I'm like living life is there a lot of pressure cuz when we think of Brazil I mean from when Madonna was performing to the NFL performance we'll talk about all of that but is there pressure to almost be the face of a Nation Oh my God kind of yes because uh as this is something that we don't see that much in my country you know people coming out of Brazil and having an international career I think Brazilians have an expectation of how you should represent the country and uh of course it cannot uh please 100% of the people but I think I can please a lot of them and I'm happy I'm happy for some of them that you represented and um yeah I I try to do the best you know I try to do things that I believe I try to bring responsibility I try to bring up uh nice messages and show my country in a nice way so I hope I I think that the majority is very positive yes you're making history I mean you made history at the VMAs you're performing again so you'll be back to Brazil back to New York are you okay first I'll ask you and second just what can we expect I mean oh my God I'm so excited to see your performance I need to keep the the health on point right the the food vitamin everything it's crazy like the yesterday and tonight my hotel is going to be the plane you know and uh yes it's back and forth to New York I was in New York uh a few days ago then I went to Brazil then I came back to New York then I'm going to Brazil and then I come back here again like I think it's uh when you really want something and you love something I think you have to put an effort for it you know and I'm putting an effort and I I I'm really glad with with what what's happening in my career I'm really happy with the results being at the NFL opening the season and I what's that like you got the call and were you I mean were you surprised I was so happy because like this is so big like everyone is you know everyone waits for that for the opening of the season and being part of it singing a have time for me is really important in my country first time ever of a of football American football in South America so for me being part of it it's it's big I was surprised I'm still trying to understand the rules though listen all you know is stream touchdown yes that's it I just you know said let me know when let me know it's the time to celebrate what other what other fact do you have about football what is the little facts that you know oh my god did I put you on the spot there are some people that are going to call me and be like are you serious you forgot everything that I taught you um I know it's uh seven points if it's and then if you just F that line is like two points or one point two points and then I know there's the guy that gets the ball and the guy that throws the ball is the reer other guy you know and all that you are an expert um I feel like you are checking off just your bucket list one by one the Madonna performance yeah how huge was that to you that was amazing and kak kabana beach in Brazil uh it's it's insane because she we in Brazil they do these concerts in the New Year's and uh I've done it before some years ago and it's like millions of people but they are there because of the new year oh they want to have fun with the show but they're there because of the New Years Madonna brought all those people there for her it was like millions and millions of people to million people for just to watch her and to see the amazing career she has and uh history that she made it was super important for me it was such an honor to be part of it that she invited me to be part of it yeah and again you will be back next week for the VMAs a lot of your peers Megan the stallion is hosting I hear you have a song with Fat Joe he's going to be there as well can you give us like a snippet of what it's about tell show and DJ KET they sent me this track that is like a kind of a flashback of like old time like uh there's a sample of Stevie be on the song and it's funny it's a fun fact cuz when my first time ever in a studio doing like a test to be a singer Stevie be was there and then they sent me the song with a sample and I'm like wow this is so historical I loved it so we're singing that and then I sing another song that I'm featuring with a very cool artist from Argentina a little surprised and then in the end of course a little bit of my album fun generation uh and yeah we're nominated but I'm happy to celebrate whatever happens yeah no I mean there's so many incredible things that you're doing and again you're putting your culture um and your people first so I I love that as well lastly just any any dance move recommendations that you have because I feel like You' be breaking it down on Tik Tok girl I think for Brazil we are born twerking okay so you got to understand it's not like something from just me if you go to Brazil you will see everybody just dancing like you know there is this time we were on vacation in in Europe these days uh in Greece and someone came and said oh my boyfriend is asking if you guys are all dancers and they they're like no we're just from Brazil we're all we're all like that so if you see just everybody just dancing you're for sure they're just Brazilians that's how
