Intro what's up you guys so my time on the Basset is over and I really just want to take this time to say thank you I wish that I was able to truly show how I felt in that moment right there but that love that I carry is it's visceral it's instinctive and it's beyond description and it just didn't work in that setting and that's okay Bachelorette contestant Sam M speaks out Sam mckin speaking out following his elimination like I said this whole this whole journey for me for you again I I can't do this I can't sit here with someone who says that they love me but doesn't even really want to get to know me and understand me after Jen Tran gave him the boot ahead of hometowns the South Carolina natives now reflecting about his time on the show with this message on Instagram I want to start at the top with Jen for showing me that I was capable of loving again after my past that's something that I'm extremely grateful for I really want to say thank you to my castmates I made friends that I will hold on to Forever and For the fans that have still supported me through all of this thank you because that was not easy watching it brought The group date back all the emotions there were just so many twists and turns one of those turns the group date in Seattle which Sam went into with a lot of confidence I'm really just looking forward to you know I can bring her back home to Mom pops and the and the rest of my family and stuff just excited for this week man with Sam like I was just felt so comfortable with him so quickly and so that's why he got the first impression Rose and then it just kind of felt right in the moment and yeah but while Sam got The fantasy suite the first impression rose on night one he didn't leave much of a good impression on this date Sam fantasy suite it's rapid fire aggressive aggressive what' you say aggressive what the hell yeah and Sam's answers only got more confusing for Jen from there Sam how do you feel about Jen to say that I've been doing nothing but Falling in Love With You from the from the first time that we had a conversation would be uh yeah that would be a lot it literally took you giving a toast to all of us saying cheers to a ferocious love I don't feel like his answers make sense to me and I'm not sure how authentic his answers are then during their one-on-one The oneonone time Sam still couldn't answer the question why it's like you're saying that you want this and I want this because I love you Sam stop you want to know why I'm feeling frustrated and Confused where the hell is this coming from to not be able to back up such a bold Proclamation I don't feel like it's real to me Jen couldn't buy The breakup Sam's game anymore which leads her to break up with him ahead of the Rose Ceremony this is the story he cheers to a ferocious love I felt that that was another thing I'm not looking for a script love isn't a script the way that this is reminds me so much of a relationship that I'd already put in the past I've been through this so many times teaching people what love means teaching people how to prioritize me I've closed this chapter in my life already I'm done I'm done with it after Jen said goodbye to Sam She narrowed down her final four for hometowns Devon Jeremy Marcus and Jonathan as for who wins her heart we'll have to wait and see I learned so much about myself and and have this like huge character development for myself essentially and so by the end of it um yeah that's definitely an outcome that's going to be a shock to uh my family it's going to be a shock to the viewers and I'm excited to watch it play out I will say that I'm very happy with the outcome I learned so much about myself and it's re truly been such a journey of self-growth um and so I mean I would say that I found a ferocious love Within Myself for sure
