Look what the first lady Michelle Obama just posted on Instagram. The first lady is with tennis star and Hydesville Maryland native Frances Tiafoe. Now she says, I'm so proud of you. You're an amazing force on the court. I have a feeling we'll be watching you dominate in years to come. Now remember, Tiafoe became the first American to make the tournament semifinal in 16 years, and Michelle Obama was in attendance at the semifinal match. And thanks to Tiafoe security Kenny Jones, we've received video when Tiafoe met with the First Lady. After the match. Thank you. Thank you. Amazing have been amazing. Made us all so proud. I hope you have fun out there. A lot of fun. Tired right now. I can't only imagine for hours. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I'm not gonna keep you. I wanted to make sure that be able to meet you in person you have. You have to meet your family, your friends, and honor. The honor is all mine. Wow. Now, I spoke with Frances Tiafoe exclusively about this moment. And here's what he said was unbelievable, pointing at her and smiling. I mean she's a nice person I ever met, you know, meeting her. She was saying, yeah, the pleasure is mine. And I'm like, you're the first lady of flushes, mind. Like you're you're you're not absolutely iconically saying it's OK yeah. You know, my husband wanted to come and I'm like your husband Barack Obama. Like, I hope it's not the last time. I hope we can connect many more times. Now, first lady Michelle Obama and Frances Tiafoe both said they look forward to meeting again very soon. That's my last call.
