Evander Kane BACK at Oilers Practice | Oilers News and Lineup Update

hello Oilers fans Austin here and welcome to just a quick lineup Oilers news update the Oilers their practice is underway in Emon right now and Evander Kane he's back on the ice now I don't expect him to actually get into the lineup but Tony bra he tweeted out Evander Kane is on the ice for Oilers practice he appears to be skating on the fifth line with Sam G and Carrick we'll get an update from Chris noblock this morning as of the recording of this video Chris noblock has not spoken to the media yet so not sure what the full update will actually be of course make sure you're following Tony br or credentialed Oilers media members on x.com or Twitter if you still call it that for all the latest updates but I did think it was noteworthy to quickly talk about Evander Kane he is back on the ice I did make a video about this the other day he had missed a couple practices in a row he's missed the last two games and I said maybe he's played his last game as an Oiler if he is healthy enough do you think he should get back in the lineup let me know in the comments section below of course another thing I quickly wanted to touch on is steuart Skinner I mentioned this in my video yesterday but uh he is 9 and0 in games 4 through seven in the Stanley Cup playoffs for the Edmonton Oilers with a56 goals against average and a 938 save percentage so that's pretty impressive if the Oilers are going to find a way to force a game seven he's going to have to put up numbers similar to that and allow the Oilers offense to try and get going he has to make early saves just like he did in game four and five now I will have a full pregame uh report up tomorrow morning before the game and then of course I will be live streaming the game tomorrow night so if you're not yet subscribed make sure sure that you do hit the little bell so that you're notified every time I upload a video or do go live I'm excited for the live stream I'm excited to do commentary if you're new to the channel I have a heart rate monitor that's up there as well last game it hit over 160 beats per minute uh not quite as high as it got in game six against the Dallas Stars though in that game I think I hit 172 beats per minute towards the end of the game now we will take a quick look at the projected lineup but I will once again be discussing this a little bit more in detail tomorrow so it looks like we're still going to have Fogle with McDavid and Hyman have nen Hopkins with dry Sidle and Holloway I'm expecting dry Sidle to play better and we need a little bit better from Holloway as well I found both of those players struggled in game five if the Oilers are going to force a game seven they need that second line to play much better than they did in game five third line you're going to have Yanmar with Henrik and brown which has been I think arguably the best line the Oilers have rolled out for the last couple of games here Yanmar and brown they seem to find each other they have that connection right now on the penalty kill they've connected for a couple short-handed goals the special teams in this series are just it it's basically turned the entire series around so um again if Emington is going to force a game seven they need the power play to continue to produce they need the peny kill to also keep shutting things down I don't expect the peny kill to get a short-handed goal for a third consecutive game but man a guy can dream huh fourth line you're going to have Ryan McLoud with Derrick Ryan and Corey Perry and Cory Perry finally got on the scoreboard uh his first of the playoffs against the Florida Panthers the other night it was a nice play by Conor McDavid he skated through four Panthers Defenders at the end of a two-minute shift don't ask how Conor McDavid does this stuff it's just incredible and then the extra forwards Vander Kane Carrick and then Sam G on defense you're going to have eom with Bard nurse with broberg and kulak with CC with Kemp and de AR as the extra defenseman and steuart Skinner of course gets the start tomorrow night that is the projected lineup of course if things change Chris noblock will obviously well I don't actually think he'll let the media know he seems to keep his cards close to his chest he doesn't give out too much information he's probably a very good poker player uh but I'm very excited for game six tomorrow I just wanted to put out a quick little news video update I I I don't do these super often but the fact of Vander Kane is back on the ice I thought that was noteworthy let me know your thoughts in the comments section below let me know if you think of Vander Kane should get back in the lineup to me personally I don't think he should I think the lineup that has won the last two games deserves to go out there and try and force a game seven if there is a game seven that does get forced again I would probably keep a vanry Kane out of the lineup that's nothing against him he played well in the King series he played okay in the Canuck series he hasn't been a factor since then we know he's dealing with one or multiple injuries right now uh it's probably best to just keep him out of the lineup and allow players that are more healthy to have more of a on Ice impact than he has had so far again like I said let me know your thoughts in the comment section below make sure you hit the like button on this video goes a long way in supporting the channel make sure you subscribe if you are not yet subscribed and tell some someone that you love them and as always Oilers fans fight like Ben fight like a kid as always try and spread positivity in your day-to-day life it goes a long way uh costs nothing to be a good person and spread some positivity so part of my community that's what we do make sure we stay positive all right and we have to be really positive before game six tomorrow night it's going to be stressful but I'm excited for the challenge uh awaiting us not only for myself on the live stream doing commentary but also uh watching this team try and force a game seven so let's go Oilers and we'll see you all very soon take care
