2024 Fantasy Football Player Analyzer: Can Travis Etienne Hold Firm RB 1 Value This Season?

so what is Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis etn going to achieve in 2024 fantasy football and can we trust him as a running back one/ hero ankle running back for 2024 this is the fantasy sports plus if you're new to the channel you just stumbled upon this channel make sure you hit that subscribe button lots of uh breaking news injury updates all of this throughout the course of the Season plus we have our first live stream this weekend so stay tuned for that now as far as etn is concerned he's always been a favorite of mine I've always uh had a lot of respect for Travis etn as a player going back to his Clemson days he was explosive personified Not only was he a great excellent explosive running well with Clemson he also proved himself to be one of the best receivers at the running back position in college football so when he was drafted into the NFL by Jaguars you know I was instantly all in on him in 2021 but of course he missed the entire season with injury 2022 really kind of made you know he did make his debut for the team uh for lack of a better term uh and had a fairly decent season 1, 25 rushing yards five scores on the ground along with 35 catches now last season a little bit of a mixed bag so etm was really really red hot the first8 weeks over the season he one of the best running backs in fantasy football but as the carries piled up his Effectiveness went down now the Jaguars offensive line was also one of the worst units in the league and they did deal with a lot of injuries in the second half that contributed to it but ATN uh considering the big jump in in touches and Carries he definitely wore down for the season 108 rushing yards uh only 3.8 precarity so he wasn't very efficient with that but he caught 58 passes out of the back field 476 yards 11 rushing touchdowns on the ground one through the uh through the air in the passing game so ATN 12 scores all together the numbers were there for a running back one there's no doubt about it now what are we going to do with him for 2022 for me I don't think anything really changes with etn right he's going in that you know um early second round range and I think that's a good spot for him and I absolutely do believe he can be a running back one for UT there's virtually no competition tank bsby was just a rumor last year he's back they didn't really address the position so there's virtually no competition uh for for touches in the back field plus you have a better offensive line that should be a better offensive line for the Jags this season Trevor Lawrence another year development he still likes to throw underneath who his old College buddy there so that's going to be a big Plus in PPR formats for sure this season uh and then as far as the receivers they brought in Brian Thomas Jr who's going to stretch the field they broughten Gabe Davis who's going to stretch the field you have Christian Kirk in the slot Evan Ingram a short passing game and really going to open things up soften up defenses so that etn does not face many sack boxes doesn't face a lot of pressure up front so I do think we're going to look at an uptick in rushing numbers uh probably another double digits uh tally and and touchdowns on the ground I think the average is going to go more like the 5.1 he averaged the year prior probably in the mid4 range 1,00 plus rushing yards double digit touchdowns 50 plus uh receptions in PPR this is a running back one I don't think there's any hesitation to draft him this season season early in round two let me know your opinion on uh Travis CN this season Post in the comments below and make sure you're a subscriber
