today is day 12 of walking from Canada to Mexico along the Continental Divide Trail we got to start our morning by getting our feet wet in an unavoidable River Crossing which was icy cold and as the day went on we had to Ford a bunch more rivers that there was no Bridges across we're making our way towards the Bob Marshall Wilderness and in Wilderness areas there's usually not Bridges or anything like that we did pass a ranger station in the afternoon and we were able to hang out there and eat lunch and we laid all of our stuff out to dry which was awesome yesterday we never caught up with our friends who had left town a little bit before us so today we're hoping that we're going to run into them at some point we had a really nice easy day and the trail was cruisy and the weather was absolutely perfect but we never did catch up to our friends we wound up calling it a day around 6:00 p.m. and we got to eat dinner and lounge at camp and then I hung my bear bag before dark it was a really nice day and hopefully tomorrow we'll catch up with our friends who are just a little bit ahead of us along the trail
