Traffic over the Piscataqua River Bridge is slowly moving again after an incident closed down all lanes this morning. Maine State Police and agencies from New Hampshire responded early this morning to a report of a person on the northbound side of the bridge. Traffic on I-95 was backed up for miles in both directions for several hours, even with the bridge reopened. There are persistent backups on side roads in Kittery. Police have not released any other details on the incident. But they are asking drivers to avoid the area if possible for now because of delay.
