thank you cancelled um like do you think I mean after North I mean and it's been the Talk of the Town for the whole day aliser Clarkson called Old made of [ __ ] I'm is everywhere everyone doesn't want to say the words we can this is this is on Sky News this was on Sky News for [ __ ] sake well it just showed me with the AFL take precent over they care about the they really care about in the The Wider community and apparently if you call someone something it's bigger than the bump and they're going to analyze the words used as they would the bump and the Imp cuz you look at what happened with North called someone a [ __ ] but like you said Johnny it's almost like saying hey you're a [ __ ] he called Old mate who just knocked his captain out there's a couple of things that on this one so yeah claro called someone a [ __ ] socker Cocker can't even say the [ __ ] word Finn L called an em player [ __ ] okay so my biggest problem with this is how come this kid got 3 weeks claro got one I'm not saying anyone claro should have got anything either by the way but I'm just saying how can you leap from one week to three weeks we were watching something before um someone was doing like a zoom thing with Rodney Eid and he said well [ __ ] was used back in the day not always as like a hom as a homophobic slow well I know people who called each other [ __ ] growing up and it had nothing to do with being gay yeah so I guess it it comes back to the intent and that's I think how how can you how how can you argue that how can you even def like determine that how do you know what Finn L meant when he said it if he actually did he actually mean it because he was having a go at the guy being gay is the guy even gay or is he just calling him a [ __ ] this is the thing how the hell can you determine and why are we the AR of what you can and can't say by the way I'm not saying that that nothing should have happened and it's okay to do this what I'm saying is how who who will Who will the AFL or whoever the powers are be to determine what is okay and what's not because one person can say cocksuck is okay somebody um but now but [ __ ] worse so is there like can we have like a dictionary or a chart that says so this if you say say this word you get four weeks if you get this word you get two weeks this one's one week in a fine with a suspended sentence or if it's clarkco he only got one week Jeremy Finn L who really gives a [ __ ] about um gets three weeks and just gets scapegoated what the [ __ ] like you guys and these people in the powers of P who are they to decide what intent was what words are okay it's very like very like where get dicey when you can control people's language I think it is getting dicey I know Brad Scott came out and said look I mean it's the the AFL has definitely evolved from the last 30 years of playing and and the way that you know what was probably said back then was completely different to what's said now and as it should have however the problem I guess lays with like you said it's almost like they've got an MRI of how you use words now the so MRI is that um match tribunal sorry I'm looking for that it's almost like they've got the tribunal the AFL it's not about necessarily I look at it like this when you bump a player and the player gets knocked out there's going to be a huge consequence right it's player safety now the problem with what we're diving into with the words is it's not just we're not impacting that player who copped a bump we're impacting a wider Community if the AFL didn't probably do something if someone goes hey you're a [ __ ] the lgbq whatever the heck that plus thingo is called I mean there's too many things on that now they've definitely come out and said there needs to be more educ education around the AFL this is the problem where it does get di because it's like well how can you where where does it where does it go from here I mean is it going to get to a point where you say hey John you're a [ __ ] and that's labeled because it's part of the Plus on the LGB it's got It's got dick in there is he calling [ __ ] is calling somebody a [ __ ] wrong because you're insulting them for having a penis or looks like their head looks like a giant like a knob like it's too it's too dicey when you start controlling language um you use the I guess the example of a bump like they're trying to is it medium impact is it high impact um is there int what was when they were in air was there int this is all [ __ ] you cannot [ __ ] determine and shouldn't be able to determine and who the hell has the right to um be able to say this is worse than that but this is worse than that I get this is the issue for me right you bump someone the only person who C the consequence was the person who got bumped yeah and they intent the problem with what the AFL have opened up here is yes he may have been saying hey you're a [ __ ] now that could have been hey you're a [ __ ] is in your [ __ ] you know whatever me he didn't he might how would you how would how would you know it was a it was probably it was a poor choice of words like but [ __ ] really like it's th like is it 3 weeks but now it's not because they're opening it up for the wider Community to have an impact so it's like if you call someone a [ __ ] the AFL is allowing someone to call someone a [ __ ] they've come out after clar did what he did with saying someone was a [ __ ] sucker have no doubt in my mind the communities from the LGB all these things have come straight for the AFL this was a point that they wanted to prove they wanted to pin Jeremy fin L and they don't want any other players to use inappropriate homophobic any sort of language that correlates with problems from another Community even though that's always going to happen whatever you say in the AFL you could say you could be really really harsh to another team the other team's going to come back at you regardless it does not matter I think they're getting a very they're putting out weird messages with this I think what Finn L did he apologized at three quter time straight after the game pretty sure he self-reported or whatever like he's like did drugs or something like he full self-reported and say this is what I did like dudee he he knows he made a mistake he said the wrong form of word and they've just said 3 weeks that's unir has anyone played football like when you're in the Heat of the Moment and you you say something I'm surprised to even remember he said it what I think the yeah what my Pro like when claro I had an argument with a friend when claro called um when Jo simin got knocked out he called someone a [ __ ] and my mate pretty much said he didn't care that claro had a goal at the guy it was that he used the term [ __ ] okay so again we're putting level on so so you're allowed to abuse someone but you're not allowed to say [ __ ] um so what Finn L did was okay but so now [ __ ] worse than [ __ ] like who is who gives like you cannot judge this is you cannot judge what is what's worse and what's not cuz someone's going to be more offended at this word than that word and then then no words allowed to be said this is the problem it's it's becoming so should he have said it he prob probably Paul of words and he definitely definitely probably won't say it again for the this but for 3 weeks please please who gives a [ __ ] please this is ridiculous yeah I think it's gone too far I thought what they did with claro and I think everyone's saying oh you know there should be um you know a Level Playing Field on what can be said and you know the ramifications I think the AFL are playing a very murky they're getting into murky water right now with what they're doing with this well they're big Corporation they're reflecting big corporations in the woke Brigade and it's infil and it's infiltrating and here we are we're going to have to everyone's going to they're going to give us you know you know at the start of the year they they give a umpire's handbook with all the rules and this is what this is it's going to be another handbook on this word not allowed to say this word is three weeks this word is can be said but only to this person if you talking to this type of person you're not allowed to say this word going to have a [ __ ] encyclopedia on how to [ __ ] talk can I say this this and I will say this think about the all the you know the team names and the you know the demons the P pies when's a matter of time until they say no demons are the wrong word we can't use that we can't use that it's not okay to that I think I think it was a couple of years ago there was someone trying to it didn't get anywhere they wanted the footy is footy you're getting tense you get worked up you okay if I so what clarkco or Finn L if out of anger what all sledging whatever they called that guy [ __ ] with is that okay no it's AR I'm I know like older ladies or something any swear word they don't like and you like they're going to get offended by that so like what why why is that word better than that so if I call someone a [ __ ] with why is that not getting 3 weeks but that does this is the dicey game we're playing yeah it's almost like they've like you said they've got the match funeral for the words that are being used right now sorry he didn't hurt he didn't hit anyone and you know what they like to use this and it's ironic because we are actually talking about this on a platform um the ironic thing is oh we want the lgbtq whatever to be able to come to the football and not worry about that no one even knew it [ __ ] happened no if it wasn't for the media putting it out there no one would have [ __ ] known it's a really how how this is ironic about the [ __ ] the media and this and that that they they say oh we're trying to protect so you they don't have to go to the football and you know worry about these things no one would have known that happened I didn't know it had happened till today this is a thing I think they wanted to make a of course they do because because the media everyone gets paid they get to control they get to control in a certain different way it this is ridiculous new education we're going to learn about lgbq I I expect my handbook I expect my handbook on what I'm not not allowed to say um and one thing I will say though the AFL is workplace you can't do this at working places either yeah what do you what's your point on that one well I'm just saying they are at least they're being consistent at least to other workplaces and I I do agree with that I think like you said the anger probably can't be the thing and you say like you said sledging and in the here the moment you you probably can't just give Grace on that cuz our a workplace they earn hundreds of thousands they're earning Millions massive Corporation however to be the dictator on what you can and can't say and how it's intended I think there's been so much worse said sure this year alone well you yeah you don't know you don't know this is the thing but it's like we're playing a competitive sport yes we can look at it like it's a business and we're sitting down like accountants and plotting our little things and but we're not we're playing great football we're putting on a great show he's he's apologized he's coped it he's been surprised they haven't executed him yeah poor dude he's been just plastered gone through a tough time as it is personal wise and he's coping it like you know like he killed someone like [ __ ] people bump there's head high bumps and whatnot and this guy's copying it for a [ __ ] term anyway do you agree do you what are your thoughts on this topic I mean we're sharing our own personal view it is a really hard one to gauge and everyone definitely has a different view on this I don't think 3 weeks was okay I think are fine even then like I think did everything this is when you get this is where it gets dicey where is it like does it is it a slap on a wrisk is then you know is there a punishment for it what is the punishment what what the AFL have really hurt themselves here is Claro's CED his week 20K and I think the week was was it he he can take well it's it's it no it's a suspended sentence which means if he does something again it gets it gets added on top why did this guy get 3 weeks like come on it's they look at the officiator and went you know what the coaches they're they're more important one of the players it's almost like hey they're an employee just you know CL coach coach is there at the end of the day they're on they're in the work 100% but they almost looked at like they're the you know the manager their top level shows it just shows acking okay if Jeremy lace Finn L was Conor Rosie there's a pecking order would he have copped three weeks no one really cares if what crazy like like like no they would they like would they get rid of him for 3 or four weeks I'm not begging Jeremy Finn L saying no people care about him until it happens again another player does this thing it's just dicey Sil it's yeah however I I don't I think the AFL needs to come out and explain what they're doing by this because me the give me the rule book tell me what words are worth week two weeks 3 weeks finds what's medium impact low impact well it's not determined and maybe maybe maybe we're just bigots and need to be educated well it's like the bump they've really brought that in they've made it very clear on how they're going to measure that and how they're going to make sure that consequences come out of that do it with this if they're going to start this this is a new Revolution clear all be consistent but I think when it like the fact we're talking about this is stupid like the fact that this was on Sky news someone a [ __ ] get over it move on yeah it's it means that they they're going to put this on the map it's a new thing I'm sure all the coaches and all the officiator are going [ __ ] what does this mean for the football club cuz the game wasn't interesting enough this is all the bombers fault [ __ ] they [ __ ] had a dip after quarter time we' be and and it was supposed to be this awesome game except we're worrying about cuz Finn L called someone a [ __ ] don't blame es for Finn L's [ __ ]
