Chattanooga State Machine Pitch Intrasquad 8/21

all right we're getting ready to start at Machine Pitch inner s sad here it is a three team inter Squad so we will have scoreboard will not be being used um first team coming the pl the C team this will be L off by Carter Giles Carter Giles leading off two machines up there one throwing a breaking ball one throwing a fast ball the batter starts off with a one strike count on them they will go three outs clear the bases and then start a new three outs foul ball we are also test driving our aware system uh six cameras we are trying to check and see we will be a a live pitch inter squatting Saturday so we're going to try to get that ready to where maybe we can use it Giles hits it hard Center and blue back to get it well struck hitters are using all using U 34 35 uh 34in 35 ounce bomb bats Uh Wood composite so uh really working on finding that Barrel Jordan Watson comes the plate freshman out of moristown and deposits it in the right center Gap and that is a triple for Watson now brings the plate Owen mccoin Owen freshman from uh from Michigan be playing right field he's also a pitcher will be throwing Saturday breaking ball out away from him and line drive up the middle scores the Run picks up the riby and brings the plate Logan money one out Logan money at the plate freshman from Independence High School breaking ball for a strike we're hoping to see these guys first pitch for a single bring to the plate Brody Belo weekly hit the first base and and and get the one so he reaches on Fielder Choice brings the plate Braden Graves another sophomore rolls over the break ball nice play at third by Casey Barnes now the plate Bryson Jenkins still another sophomore two outs man on second and single up the middle and ground ball and that'll be the third out Taylor head leads off that second half hits a single up the middle bring the plate Jonathan fooa looks like a double play ball and it is 6 to four to three now brings Ryland Collins freshman from Lookout Valley and pop fly foul Chopper up the middle McCarron fields and throws him out and on to the next half e e e all right we're into the third group and this is braad Braden King leading off transfer shows bunt drops it down nice bunt and beats it out bring the plate Ben fiser Ben a pitcher second baseman freshman now baton with a runner on first no outs and he shows bun drops down a sack so get the uh sacrifice on the air makes it first and third Casey Barnes at the plate breaking ball strike Barnes a transfer also from Clark State along with Braden King foul ball Unbreaking ball fights it off his fist and throws it out in the shallow left get the RBI single and now Devin M McCarron at the plate McCarron also a transfer playing Short Stop shows bunt drops it down and it's foul good played high school ball at Walker Valley high school it's a ball on the breaking ball check swing on the fast ball and hits the breaking ball well to Center but moton out there makes the play so moves one Runner it's first and third now with two outs Zach rayan up rayan a freshman outfielder pitcher rolls over foul and ball hit towards Right Center mccoon makes the play so that'll end that three and now we'll go to the second third three outs this will be Ben Welch freshman out of Capel Texas and just fou so now two strikes on Welch breaking ball get on his hands pulled foul over into the softball side of the athletic Fieldhouse another breaking ball pulled foul count stays the same still two strikes pop fly foul being chased and gets down somewhat extended at bad here for Ben Welch as he leads off the second half of the inning pulls that foul way up on top of the building okay we're ready to resume and Fly ball the center of the diamond short stop back and first out bring the plate Ian Lindsay Lindsay a local product but went to uh mlo State last year as a catcher is a sophomore curveball outside ground ball foul on the fast ball so two strikes breaking ball served over foul on mccoin mccoin hit a single to Center his first time up picked up a ribby and hits it well to left Center looks like it might be and it is it's a home run so Home Run for the Freshman Owen mccoin now to the plate Logan money money uh struck out his first time up and ball well hit to right single to right for money will bring will horn to the plate who uh reached on an air his last bat so runner on first one out breaking ball may be a little away foul ball so two strikes now to Horn defense playing in pretty straight up foul ball on the breaking ball and another foul ball breaking ball just single his first time up swinging the midst to the fast ball so far the first two teams have four runs and this team with it second at bat is at one run foul ball but both previous teams have scored three runs in this second AB so it'll be interesting to see how this team does the second ab and that's a strike three to King so one out brings the plate Ben fiser fiser reached on a sack bunt and and gets him to Center so gets a double to center field brings plate to Monty moton moton already with a two ribby uh triple to right center now gets another opportunity pick up some RBIs give his
