making his debut Bo Nicks making his debut for the Broncos so three offenses that we expect to certainly improve from where they were last year three quarterbacks that are really interesting for Fantasy especially obviously Williams and Daniels uh and then you know I I think B knck is going to be kind of interesting I I think that game Seahawks Broncos is going to be a sneaky shoot out later today so much hype around Caleb Williams Jaden Daniels Bo Nick's kind of the Forgotten guy of the three but Sean pton has anointed him early as the Bronco for what Sean pton likes to do offensively that he you know like the short passing like he's really good all right hey here we go would we start Dak Caleb or Justin Fields this week that's one of the big storylines as well came out over NE uh o over the weekend there's a chance that Russell Wilson has got a calf injury not going to be able to go today and so Justin Fields who jury is still out on him as a real life NFL quarterback but the jury is very much in as him is a fantasy quarterback he is when he gets to play puts up a ton of points obviously a lot of it's with his legs uh I think if Justin Fields gets the start I'd prefer him I I want no part of Dak and then um I actually think that's kind of a low-scoring game U you know in ten you know in Chicago Titans Bears so yes I think if Justin Fields gets this if Justin Fields is absolutely starting week if we find out Russell's in active he's going to test the captain the pregame I say Fields I'm I'm going fields too last year the Atlanta Falcons gave up the second most rushing yards to quarterbacks and Justin Fields just like you said he's a guy who's ran for 1100 yards I I have him in a couple of leagues and I'm just waiting to just put him in there so yeah definitely Justin fields for me yep two years ago Justin Fields top six fantasy quarterback on a points per game basis like it's Justin fields in a dome versus Dak Prescott with City who hasn't really been in Camp going up against miles Garett Outdoors so a bad Dak was outdoors and then Caleb it's just an unknown we just don't know I think this Tennessee defense I don't think it's going to be great but I think there is upside I think it' be better than it was last year I think highest upside Justin Fields is a bears guy I got to say your highest floor would be Caleb Williams and we still got to wait to see if Justin Fields is going to get the nod because Russell Wilson on the field in pregame warm-ups trying to give it to go week one my headline you guys have been hyping up these rookie quarterbacks I'm GNA go to a couple guys who are in the gutter and arguably the highest Varian quarterbacks this year for the range of outcomes we got Sam darnold and Daniel Jones the two guys who are supposed to be the saviors of New York call it Circa 2019 darnold such a retread but now he's fallen into arguably the best position of his career now with the Vikings with having Justin Jefferson Jordan Addison his two wide outs what do you got you already got hand going I was just going to say not arguably like there like there's no there's no debate the Vikings with to your point actual versus the disaster that was the Jets the disaster that was the Panthers Niners obviously were great but he was there for a cup of coffee and he was clear to the backup so I mean I agree I mean 100% And I had a buddy getting just totally on the hype train and going nuts saying oh could this be uh Kurt Warner type situation with the 99 Rams they said you're an idiot of the highest scoring team of all time but it's not out outside the realm of possibility they could be a fringe type playoff team that's frisky Daniel Jones two years ago wins a game in the playoffs takes them to the second round and then last year when he was injured just looked atrocious so at Daniel Jones huge question mark now you have Malik neighbors slotting in but you're running game you lose saquan so for him it's crazy to think that they're a a a home Underdog and you get the Vikings as the favorite week one so I mean you could tell me that Daniel Jones and the gmen go 4 and 13 you could say they're a 500 team I I could buy either I so that to me is the most unpredict predictable match up with those two quarterbacks I like your phrasing of Saviors of New York circuit 2019 which sounds like a bad prequel to Gangs of New York with Daniel de lewisy out of DiCaprio but no I agree and I think it's been a little bit overblown um like Justin Jefferson I'm worried about Sam Donal like Justin Jefferson provided the rankings etc etc but uh and Lamar on and on but yes uh of the players remaining uh still to play I have both guys' top 10 plays this week remember the Rams gave up the third most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks last year I would argue their defense is worse like again no Aaron Donald pushing the line as well so I think Stafford's going to a clean pocket where he's going to be able to I'm sorry uh G is going to have a clean pocket be able to throw uh against the Rams uh quite a bit their secondary very banged up uh I'm looking forward to the emergence of Jameson Williams so I have gof at qb9 I have Stafford at qb10 right I mean again Stafford threw for 367 in this matchup last year in the playoffs as well Lions bottom six in both passing yards and passing touchdowns allowed now they tried to improve their uh secondary of this offing they made some nice uh they made some nice signings but still indoors at forward field were Stafford played so many years and I think they're going to be down so they're going to be having to throw um you know puka and cup Cooper cup both look fully healthy uh so yeah I think this is both guys are VI very viable starts today yep I think particularly with jarro G like if you look at his stat line in that playoff game against the Rams doesn't look amazing he was 22 of 27 270 yard yards the thing is is that they got they were leading the whole game they got a little bit conservative I think they ran the Ballon he did whatever he wanted through the air against this Rams defense by the way now no Aaron Donald on that defense now I think they're going to have a real struggle the Rams I think this is the type of game where the Lions could score 40 and Jared gof really announces himself um as I don't think he's going to be like an MVP candidate but as a guy who can yeah as a guy who can you know lead the a franch quarterback as a guy that that deserves the contract he got J go was coming out of La he was catching a lot of flagging I don't know maybe deservingly so but since he's become a Detroit line like it was they he came there like oh he's going to be here for a year or two we'll draft the quarterback jarro go said no no no so I think the trade between Stafford and golf was even furthermore you get Stafford back in Detroit over uh over under 52 and a half this is a big game for a lot of reasons like both of these teams you got you just mentioned uh the Rams defensive line they have to prove themselves the Lions defensive backfield have to prove themselves I think that's why the over under so high and I'm glad it's on NBC people uh people for people forget Lawrence like you talk about like how you know Jared G the the RS gave the Lions a pick to get rid of Jared G like they like it wasn't just like we will give you a first round pick if you take Jared GF off of our hands um and so you know obviously that worked out and it worked Rams won a Super Bowl so it worked out for so here we go all right a monster day the Buccaneers are because my commanders are so brutal especially in the secondary and so they're going to have to throw uh the commanders to keep up as well especially with a rushing it's a bad offensive line I think J J is going to be running for his life but I think tons of yards as well I think Daniels over G is as good as I mean I both guys has top 10 plays don't think you can screw this up Lane but I have Jaden Daniels higher than gof anyone else I think it's a it's a variance thing like if you are in a matchup where you think that you're in a position to win you play a little bit safer I would go with Jared Goff I think Jared Goff is a very very high floor against the Rams against not a great defense in a dome at home Jane Daniels he could be qb1 this week he could also be qb1 18 like um Todd B's gonna Blitz a ton Jan Daniels gets sacked a lot particularly off of blitzers so there is some downside risk with Daniels but all the upside the world but by the way and to that point sort of an under Ling Marcus Mariota who they signed to be the backup they just placed on IR so they resigned Sam Hartman very handsome Sam Hartman uh as but I like there's not a lot of depth behind Jaden Daniels if something were to happen God forbid something happened to him today Sam Hartman out of Notre Dame not to be confused with Sam Howell who's no longer with I wish they'd hang they'd hung on to Sam how one thing I do want to say though and Jay I think you bring up bring up a great point uh which is so you mentioned like the variance of Jaden Daniels and the and the safety floor of Jared G I completely agree and I think a lot of fantasy managers sitting here going like so you may have faced like saquan Barkley and Jaden Reed right I mean you may you may be like I I played against a guy that had Barkley and Xavier worthy and I'm like I'm down 60 points so right if you're go if you're coming into this weekend and you're like you're down big already swing for the fences with Jane Daniels but to your point if like hey man I had pcho and Barkley you know I went running back run back early in my drafts and so I feel good about where I'm at or I had Lamar Jackson and and uh and Barkley and so all I just I just need floor then well if you had Lamar Jackson you would need golf but superlex but you understand my point is is that if you if you're in a good spot after the first two games and you need more floor golf is probably the play there but if you need if you need to swing for the fences and I think that goes not just for this particular question but for any question you have today depending on where you are in your matchup like again if you're down big swing for the fences if you are up then play a little bit more floor I think this is a unique week because we already had four teams play yeah 100% I think Jaden Daniel's floor is going to be higher than people think because of the rushing stats that he's going to have this year and in college we saw had a propensity for pushing it down field so I do think he's not going to be necessarily as limited throwing the ball as maybe Anthony Richardson was year ago in that small sample size yet Richardson's floor was extremely high because he was a machine when it came to rushing touchdowns let's get to our next matchup here and this could be on paper one of the biggest blowouts we have this week Lawrence we're going to start with you I feel like this spread Cincinnati favored by seven and a half but the over under just 41 that is such an indictment of the state of the Patriots but who can we trust in this Bengals passing game well Joe burrow yes I was going to make the same joke you could trust Joe burrow but but who's going to play that's a big thing well they're saying Jamar Chase is not expected to reach reach an extension before today's game you know so that would have been pretty cool if they did but they didn't so you got Andre yosias you got uh you got Irwin in there if you want to go even deeper they got another slot guy Charlie Jones I would say no one but if you had to play one of them it would be yosa so you got Jermaine Burton too but Andre yhas is the one they talked about coming through Camp he won the number three receiving job there for the angle so if if you had to go that route I would say Andre yosias other than that it's trust Joe burrow that he can make these receivers better yep Chase Brown as well out of the back field I think he'll be an option but it's not it's not great and people forget like the Patriots as bad as they were last year had an awesome defense last season Christian Gonzalez come back he looked like he was going to be the Defensive Rookie of the Year last year before he did his shoulder so it's going to be an ugly matchup it's a tough tough matchup I mean Joe bar was out there so there was a certain floor but still there's no one you can feel great about if Chase isn't out there I I I mean the over under is 41 in this game I would take the under in this game I think if you're if if you're the if you're Zack Taylor you're just sort of like guys if we get to 13 points we're winning this game like I mean that's the problem is that the Bengals also have a good defense the Patriots offensive line has just been like a swing door all preseason it's been brutal and so I think that under jacobe Bret who got banged up in the preseason and they don't have a lot you know yes you know Antonio Gibson is going to go today but what ever like I just you don't feel great about any offensive options on the Patriots side of the ball here I suppose if you have to start ra Andre Stevenson you could but um I I just feel like they're not gonna they're gonna have to sort of grind it out you could see this being a big Zach moss and Chase Brown game to your point I will say this about yosias 20% Target here for T Higgins in healthy games last year we don't expect him to go uh today we don't know about Jamar Chase we have he is truly a game time decision but especially if Jamar Chase is not out there and T Higgins is not out there you feel you feel a lot better about Andre yovich who well you know again remember Tyler Boyd he's taking over the the Tyler Boyd role Tyler Boyd 74 targets last year in the slot that was the fourth most in the NFL are we starting Joe burrow then no no T Higgins I think Jamar Chase I think it depends on I I think it depends on who else you have like I don't think he's an you know I think if there's no Jamar Chase then I think so so here you go here Tim's got a question for us all right Flex question Jamar Chase if he's out today I'm gonna have a spot open who would you go with Devin Singletary Hunter Henry lad makoni or Jerry Judy Devon single close just volume of touches that he's going to get there Hunter Henry by the way would be my second choice if there's somebody on the Patriots as we're talking about this game there's somebody on the Patriots that I would that I would like to start there's no one I would like to start but that I would like that I could close my eyes sort of go like all right you know like this the Bengals did struggle last year against tight ends there you know there is a um Hunter Henry has been somebody that has always been very productive in the Red Zone 38% Target share in the Red Zone F Henry last yeah so I mean uh that would be but I think single T is your uh single T is your guy I'm nervous about makoni even with DJ CH on IR now yeah I I I think that's gonna be a low-scoring game and I think it's going to be Josh Palmer like had a quiet Camp I don't know how DJ CH would have been involved to begin with like he he would have been out there playing but I don't know if his Target share was going to be high enough to affect like Josh Palmer uh in Maki so I don't think that really have any effect on that so the way uh Tim has them set up here like they kind of ranked in the in the right order I I agree like and Judy I just I guess Judy will get some again you got to see something out of him yeah I mean that's going up against Dallas Deshawn looks bad like we just don't no like it's I mean you starting Amari Cooper and David and joku as pass catchers for the Browns in in week one so to start Judy right now it's like yeah you got to see some it's week one it's week one there's so much variance to to Jay's point and I will just say this the one thing we know is that Devon single ter barring injury is going to touch the ball a ton of those four guys we can guarantee that like d ball has come out and said like he's going to be a Workhorse for him so don't Big Brand yourself who's going to have most touches week one go with that and that's the likeliest outcome for your highest scoring player in the flex there with single Terry all right our last matchup the biggest home dog the Colts taking on the Texans it's almost wide receiver roulette now with the Bevy of options that CJ Stroud has a receiver so Matthew which Texans wide receiver do you feel best about this week all of them all of them give me give me Nico Diggs tank Dell I think all have monster games today I I have Nico Collins rank the highest so if you want to you know you see it there in your screen but I have I have Collins and Diggs both his top 20 plays this week I have d d at wide receiver 25 all three guys are going to eat today they're going to all three have monster games love them all today you think about tank Dell he's my lowest guy there his only game against the Colts last year 7 for 72 in a touchdown he got 10 targets as well I think uh Nico is you know whatever last year he had a 26% Target share when he played the Colts um and uh you know in terms of Stefon Diggs think it we sort of saw this with saquon Barkley on Friday night like there's going to be a hey welcome to the team we want to get you involved earlier CJ St is absolutely going to do what he can to get Diggs going that's exactly why I'm saying Stefon Diggs that plus you got tankk Dale who will probably played in the slot the most uh you got Kenny Moore on the other side one of the better uh nickel Corners in the league so he could possibly face tank Dale into your point which you said like hey we want to we want to show you like no you you say Stefon digs fell off at the end of the year we say you stop using them so they going to get out here and they going to use them yep I don't really understand how the Colts were just cool with going into the season with Juju Brent as their number one boundary corner but like that's going to get exposed today you would think with Nico Collins T Point like niiko Collins he's the clear number one I think I just think he's the most talented guy he's the guy who's set 10 yards higher on DraftKings than anyone else for a reason but yeah I think all of all those three guys they can provide value and the good thing is last time we saw CJ Str in the regular season what was was he doing he was eviscerating the Indianapolis Cults in Indianapolis like he's not going to have any problems against this defense Matthew you think this season it's going to be 1 a 1B with nicoo and Stefan digs or it's going to be a clear number one number two I think every week one of those guys will have a monster game but I think all three are going to be startable week in week out like they're they all have enough upside they have a good enough quarterback it's a it's a fantasy friendly enough offense that I think all three will eat this year all right our last game we got Cowboys on the road at Cleveland Browns favored by two and a half over under 41 last year the Cowboys offense Dak Prescott basically had a the keys to a Ferrari now they're going against one of the top rated defenses from a year ago so Jay are you concerned we had CD lamb missed pretty much the whole preseason are you concerned about this cowboys offense in this matchup extremely concerned because I saw what the Cowboys did Outdoors last year in tough matchups think about what they did against Buffalo towards the end of the season not like Buffalo had an amazing defense either think about what they did against San Francisco on sunl football in the middle of last year this team just struggled Outdoors against good teams last season the Browns have a case to be considered the best defense in football coming into this matchup uh first start um for the new left tackle giden for the Cowboys good luck going against miles Garrett and your first start in the NFL so I just think that with the uncertainty around what CD is going to look like with how bad the Cowboys looked outdoors I mean he's still starting cidd lamb most people you're going to be starting Dak Prescott but don't think you're going to be feeling great about it going up against this defense I would agree with that I mean like listen Dak Prescott made my hate list um uh both in my column and then you know I I did a segment on halftime uh on football night in America or actually just on Sunday Night Football I was on on halftime and I did a quick little love haate and Dak Prescott was my hate so I'm really rooted the first time I got to do that got to be on halftime so please Dak um do me a favor make me look good by the way speaking speaking of Dak literally just got an alert that apparently Dak just signed a a 4year 24 million extension um that literally just literally just literally just as was talking he's going go off no no no are you kidding me would be the most Cowboys thing ever look at this right here this is uh from NFL Network Cowboy look at that guaranteed money right $240 million with 231 million guaranteed per uh Ian rport and Tom peliso how different is his morning from Tyreek yeah um I mean right the NFL's biggest question answered so uh so Dak has a new deal it would be the most Cowboys thing ever after Dak getting $231 million guaranteed goes out and loses on the road to the Browns throws two picks come on stop it come on Justin Fields is starting too yeah this is a good point as well just at home last year the Browns defense the number one pass defense the number one scoring defense the number one Total Defense they were second in sacks they were third in pressure rate to your point it's a it's an offensive line that's been untested um uh that might be a little a little bit shaky last year Dak Prescott on the road averag just 16 fantasy points per game versus almost uh basically like about 24 when he was at home so a significant difference it was like 24 and change so almost nine points worse on the road last year than he was at home CD Lambs missed all of Camp is he going to be able to 100% as well this feels like a low-scoring game and I don't think the Cowboys are going to have to light it up again A lot of times when they were at home they were they were having to you know being very aggressive but against the Browns I don't think the Browns able to move the ball against the Cowboys the Cowboys have a very good defense so I I like the under in this game uh as well um you know the over under was 41 it's so well I took the under in this game I think this is another you know they win whatever 1714 kind of thing 1710 this feels like an ugly game 214 you know yeah it's just going to be a it's going to be a struggle of the defense remember these are two playoff teams we're talking about here when we talked about the Patriots in the Bengals you know we're talking about the Patriots in the Bengals without their receivers now you get uh the Browns and the Cowboys it's just going to be a struggle even if CD lamb would have been there all camp and they he'd have been PR this still would have been a you know it's going to be a tough game for both teams because they're two overall good teams bigger question mark for you guys and I mean the Cowboys running game scares me Ezekiel all basically has one foot in the grave average three and a half yards a year ago with Rico dle let me just check out fantasy fo pregame for Cav just catching some shrapnel so Cowboys running game is your one question mark or Deshawn Watson and his bum shoulder which scares you more how about deshun Watson and his bum play for three four years of this we we haven't seen Houston Texans deshan Watson since he left the team and I they both scare me but to answer your question fantasy-wise in an Ideal World I'm not starting any of them I'm not starting any one of the Cowboys running backs I'm not starting deshun Watson you have to start I agree with you Lawrence you have to start Amari Cooper David en joku cidi lamb Jake Ferguson but that's from this game that's who I want to start those for and that's it yeah for me the more scarier part is the Cowboys backfield because I you know we just got an alert this morning that Duce Von will have a role in this offense so that adds even more to this MH pit when you got Zeke Elliot Ric OD D Dalvin cook floating around there somewhere and to me Duce V like fantasy aside he's actually the best runner if we being real he just happened to be 5'2 and so that's hindering him but he will have some type of role I don't know if that's two touches three touches five but he's taken from somebody here y just on the Shan like the last time he was good was 2020 for the Texans since 2020 two different teams have talked themselves into giving up high draft picks for Carson Wentz like that's how long ago the Shawn wasn't a league quarterback and look he was amazing in 2020 he was a legit top five quarterback in the league but like we just haven't seen it we haven't even really seen flashes since then so I'm just completely out on the sea until he shows that he's actually I think he showed flashes last year against the Ravens when they came a lot of dump offs though and he also threw a pick six like the first PlayOn so I'm yeah I need to sa it from Desa I worst contract man Deshawn Watson or Daniel Jones I mean those Des Watson Des Watson GI get out of it might be might be Dak we'll see that was guaranteed best flex option this is full PPR Kamar tankel Cooper or Jerome Ford what are we thinking there Kamar I was going to say I think Kamar just look the the Saints offensive line is um is brutal and uh I do think the Panthers kind of sneakily have a a very good defensive front the goal line it's two guys you worried about Anthony Richardson Jonathan Taylor these guys are uh pretty you know correctly ranked good job Matthew I appreciate that thank you season hot yeah with these accurate rankings and that's got to be the one thing that makes Jonathan Taylor owners have paws or want to vomit inside the five is just how many rushing touchdowns is Anthony Richardson get out it's the same effect as you know people was worried about that with saquin right um with jayen Herz and we saw what happened there when you have that type of quarterback who had those dual threat abilities it opens up more for that good running back so when you have a combo of the two you know the defense is now playing 11 on 11 and that's what you want so yeah he'll give up some here and there but he's going to get a lot more on the back end yeah my prediction there I actually think the Colts are going to over index on Jonathan Taylor runs at the goal line like after the hits that Anthony Richardson took particularly going into the end zone so I think that um it's going to be similar like Lamar Jackson just never ran the ball inside the five last year basically was always Gus Edwards uh so I think that Jonathan Taylor is going to get plenty of work at the goal line a feel versus real for this season we'll see JT and what happens week one I just who has saquin in the league of W George oh yeah that's I got the Deep week one and we get the the highest scoring projection right now shootout so far you know what's crazy too about that I can't remember where we picked cuz I have Jonathan Taylor I can't remember if it came down to am I taking Jonathan Taylor or sequan or I took Jonathan Taylor because you took sequan but I feel felt like either way you were going to be good and obviously you are who are you playing week one I got de okay oh he he's he's hating it that he is a diard New York Giant this is backup producer backup producer Pete uh that's so great you gotta love how committed the bit he was with the fake mustache for the draft just bringing it all right let's spin it quarterbacks now 11 through 20 and a guy on your hate list based in the Browns and Jack Prescott he just got paid I'm telling you it'd be the most cowboy thing ever for on the day that he gets 231 million guaranteed he goes out and lays an egg throws two picks in a Cowboys loss like whatever I like again I one thinks I hate the Cowboys because of my commanders and they and they're right um but but fantasy-wise I'm being objective here I mean CD lamb was my number one ranked wide receiver this year you know what I mean like Jake Ferguson I talked him up all preseason as a sleeper I love Jake Ferguson this year my guy eight everyone knows but I am down on Dak Prescott this week outside my top 10 even with four quarterbacks already having played I we've talked about this but again how effective is CD lamb going to be this year this week given that he missed almost all of training camp they're on the road at Cleveland where the Browns gave up 156 passing yards a game last year that was it best in the NFL like they like teams did just did not average over 200 yards against them passing they actually have the the second highest pressure rate concerns about the the uh the Cowboys offensive line so yeah I I just I want no part of Dak in what should be a low-scoring game against Cleveland Dak was bad on the road last year as well Lawrence next guy and we have two extremes was arguably the MVP front runner although you were shorten him in Brock per year ago leading up to Christmas now I'm in a couple 12 team leagues where he's available he's not even rostered he's the guy who everyone remembers had that four interception game against the Ravens and totally imploded so which end of the spectrum do we think Brock p is at pardon me J J because that's who Jay wanted to win the MVP was on Lamar Yeah well yeah it didn't I tried I did my best to get Brock birdie home my Stakes my good name to Brock effort I respect it yeah well I got him in minus 250 but unfortunately I could get out there on the field with him against Baltimore in week 17 no I'm a little bit worried about Brock pie uh in this matchup against the Jets I think back to I'd say the three best defenses he played last year uh Cleveland on the road terrible Baltimore on Christmas night terrible and then Chief Super Bowl he was fine in that game wasn't amazing though he was 23 to 38 and now with Brandon iuk on a snap count Trent Williams wasn't in training camp and cafre was dealing with the soft tissue injuries uh in training camp too so bit worried about Brock pie my man Brock pie against this Elite defense so I think a lot you could find better options than P particularly now that Fields Vault up as well um I think you could Mak nervous pretty makes me very nervous and I have pretty is a starting quarterback in a GU Team league which I'm very nervous about TR yes I might be Lawrence Tua uh Tua actually out of all the quarterbacks you have Matthew ranked 11 to 20 this is probably the guy who could end up a top three quarterback easy uh this week but the reason why it's you know makes sense for him to be ranked here you got a guy who led the league in passing yards last year but again Raheem moard had 18 rushing touchdowns they're just looking to get the ball in the end zone the easiest way possible so they could this this is going to be a hot scoring game right and if it means anything Tua was quarterback one in week one of last season against the Chargers when he threw for 466 Jaguars seventh worst pass defense last year they don't really have anything to be afraid of back there in the secondary outside of uh Tyson Campbell who just recently signed a deal there so I I can see this going a lot of different ways two cuz I the passing yards are going to be there is will he have the touchdowns to go with it because he's not a guy like Lamar threw for one touchdown but he had 120 rushing yards two ain't doing that we know that right so he's going to need the touchdowns to you know get into that that top 10 QB range if you got 20 rushing yards from two a year ecstatic and last year take that all day he had a a cluster of a lot of like 15 to 17 point games and then he had those a couple monster games where was 30 to 40 plus which really lifted up as average let's go over now to running back ranks top 10 and James Cook a lot of questions around is he going to be the type of guy we saw a year ago or is he G to have a diminish in the amount of touches that he has no he's going to be awesome James is going to cook you heard me look uh thank you very much uh look once Joe Brady took over last season start in week 11 he was the 11th best running back in fantasy football he averaged over 19 touches a game he had a 12% Target share and now he gets the Arizona Cardinals who have allowed who last year allowed the most fantasy points and the most rushing yards to running backs last season uh bills are almost a touchdown favorite at home expect a lot of James Cook today there's always the chance that he gets vultured at the goal line obviously by Josh Allen but this is going to be this is sort of James Cook's season again I'm as a top six play today complete PPR Beast this year speaking of James Cook him Pitman Wadd pick two of the three cook and waddle yeah yep yeah I don't disagree with that I don't disagree with that I I think here's you're definitely starting James Cook to me uh Pitman is the floor guy Waddle's the upside guy like I just pitman's GNA get so much um attention as well but uh you know just I'm sorry pitman's going to just get get so many targets from Anthony Richardson and again we sort of think the yeah yeah exactly joshs is out I just I think the Texans light up so they're going to have to be throwing as well but Wadd is a guy that could have 100 yards and two touchdowns yep little worried about Pitman going up against Derrik Stingley when else they have a very good secondary the Texans do as well um so anyway I probably cook and waddle is probably what you want to do there unless you just again you need the floor of Pitman who should again just massive Target share I get it he's he's got a tougher matchup but keeping it with this dolphins match up etan yeah so Travis etan he's very become an unsexy name despite being a relatively young player with a lot of pedigree coming out of the draft he got a ton of work last year he's top three in the NFL in rushing attempts but I think people have cooled on him because of this idea that tank bsby is going to be a lot more involved in this offense that uh that the Jags want to take a bit of etn load off because he wasn't super efficient with all the work that he got last year my thing with that is like let's say it let's see it first because uh with this kind of stuff I go back to 2022 after Jonathan Taylor had his massive Year Frank Reich came out and said we're going to take some of JT's workload off and we're going to give nem Hines more of a rooll week one Jonathan Taylor gets 30 carries for the Colts so let's just see it let's see tank bigsby's role increase more Draft Kings projecting T big spe for four carries and etn for 15 and I'd expect a similar breakdown digs or etn and the flex from Matt Casey on YouTube oh etn for me yeah I think so I think just Vol just high-scoring game as well I don't think you can screw that up what by the way Matt is because I think I think Diggs is going to have a monster game too but just the guaranteed touches of ET I I would guess that etn have better odds to get in the end zone too certainly yep on the Rams side and we're taking or taking a look now allons jir Gibbs a top 10 running back and obviously he had to split touches last year with David Montgomery yeah and that's fine to uh really early in the off season there GM said jir Gibbs would be more involved and we look forward to that now the Rams did allow the least amount of fantasy points to running backs last season but Jay you mentioned earlier the subtraction of Aaron Donald to this defense is going to be big uh they have four the the Rams defense have four first or second year players along that defensive front so this could be good for this is going to be good for jir Gibbs and David Montgomery but definitely excited to see this turn to a track meeting jir Gibbs as we know he could he could catch that ball out the back field you think the total touches are going to invert this year between Gibbs and Montgomery where it's more Gibbs 6040 to Montgomery you think it'll still be close to 5050 the way Dan Campbell sounded the other day talking about Montgomery saying we need that Workhorse and David Montgomery you know it's just I think it just depends on how the game goes like David Montgomery will never go away as long as he's on that team but the Great thing about jir Gibbs 12 15 touches you're going to get what you need out of him as far as from a fantasy perspective David Montgomery 12 touches probably not so much Gibb such a home run hitter with his Breakaway speed let's drop down now to 11 through 20 with Matthews running back ranks and I mean speaking of Home Run hitters aan clocking in at at 13 th% look no team allowed more receptions to running backs last season than the Jacksonville Jaguars double digit Target share for aan in six of his nine games last year at least where he played 20 snaps and he wasn't you know uh hurt by the way Jaguars also give a lot of big rushing plays they were top seven in the NFL in terms of most rushes allowed of 15 or more yards again so you've got a big play uh running back against a team that gives up big plays in The Run game you've got a team that a running back that catches the ball against a team that gives up a lot of receptions yeah give me Devon aan today uh I think him and mostard are both must starts can't wait to see him hopefully knock on wood healthy for year and what he's capable of because his yards per carry last year at seven plus were insane and this year it's going to be like six huge drop off like hen can be can be a League winner if aan is what he was last year for the season he's going to win you your league y with the cards and which narrative is it going to be with James Conor the guy who's a Workhorse who who's another top 20 fantasy running back or a guy who's finally now going to fall off that's been injury-prone throughout the course of his career and we're going to start to see him lose a step this year very Pro James Conor I think he's the most underrated skill position player in the game I don't think people realize that he was third in the NFL last year in rushing yards per game and a lot of that was with uh not a lot at quarterback until Kyle Murray came back so I understand like game script going up against the bills well what game scri he had last year they won four games and he was still thir in the NFL and rushing yards for a game so I think James I think he's going to have a monster season I he's going to be very reliable one of the few bcow backs in the league who was just unopposed in that backfield understand we're excited about Trey Benson but I think that's more of a next year thing yeah I think Kyler Murray if anything will help open up even more running Lanes with a full season under center with James Connor in the backfield we have the Rams now and Blake km's been getting a lot of hype is he going to make any Dent into the amount of touches that Kiren Williams has after his breakout year we saw season ago he he should be do a great job at giving Kyon Williams a breather here uh I know the punt Kyon Williams and the punt return thing sent everybody to a friends he had him going crazy uh but you're looking at in Kyon Williams the NFL's leading rusher in yards per game last season meaning if he don't miss those four games he's the rushing Champion now he'll go against Detroit who was the second best against running backs in Fantasy last season but when he gets that volume in there going to give him that Val we have we Shan McVey we have yet to see him have a committee a true running back committee and until I see otherwise and again we've been seeing this for what five six seven years now with Shan M so until we see otherwise Kyon William is and will be a running back one he'll have a good game tonight love a good EPO facto out of Lawrence always 21 through 30 now and this one of the biggest question marks how this backfield is going to shake out with the Titans and Taj Spears the hold over and then of course you have Tony Pard now coming in to split touches with him you got Spears at number 30 here Matthew I like him uh no team in the NFL allowed more receiving yards to running backs than your Chicago Bears uh there George and last year uh among running backs Spears was top eight in terms of Target share he had almost a 15% Target share from will Levis uh and from the Tennessee Titans I think Tony P gets involved as well but on the road at the Bears DeAndre Hopkins not 100% they've got a good secondary led by Jaylen Johnson the Bears do so I do think that and they'll bring pressure so I do think you'll see dump offs to both Pard and Taj Spears I think both are sort of viable Flex options in that top 30 range today Jay with the Browns backfield Jerome Ford became a huge storyline last year after Nick chub's injury chub obviously missing at least the first four games of the season is he going to be the guy who's leading the Browns in touches I think so just I mean as an extension of the concerns about Deshawn Watson you have to create upside for Jerome Ford statistically last year Dallas's run defense was pretty solid in terms of the efficiency stats I just don't buy that because I watched what they did against the Packers against the bills late in the season they are very they just lack heft on the defensive line the interior of the dline is the weakness there Lineback is a bit uncertain as well so I think he can run on the Cowboys and I think that uh just with the questions about the Sha there's a good chance that Cleveland with an upgrade of offensive line just because they missing all their players last season I think that they can run the ball effectively all right we've talked shiny new toy let's go question first flex play rondre Yoshis or Jerome Ford doesn't say if it's standard League or PPR I mean listen I've been down on rre Stevenson all pre- season I I still am I don't love him in this matchup against the Browns but you've got to go ra Andre Stevenson here I B against the against the Bengals like again just I think he I think he'll be involved in the passing game here he's the one that's going to touch the ball the most I think he's got the best shot at a touchdown of those three guys as well so yeah the answer to me is RA Andre Stevenson yep made I roll with that I wouldn't hate taking a peak maybe at your own Ford but I could see Stevenson being for Ford lead horse there for sure so let's uh work our way back to running backs 21 through 30 and we we like I said the chiny new toys we saw saquin featured with the Eagles we think that Diggs is certainly going to eat with the Texans the Bears DeAndre Swift they get him from the Eagles went over a thousand yards but wore down as the season went on is he going to be the bcow for the Bears or is this going to be more of a committee with khil Herbert than we're thinking well well bcal might be a strong word but lead back is more like it uh and Roshan Johnson is inactive so that's one less extra bar care you have to worry about I'll talk about him in like the same way I did toour out of all of these guys from 21 to 30 he's the most likely who could end end up as a top 12 running back uh this week he came in to the Bears looked explosive in the preseason Tennessee was a top 12 defense against running backs and fantasy last season but that was because you could light them up through the air you know so DeAndre Swift today will get the most opportunities as many running backs do he'll get the most opportunities than anyone on that offense to to touch the ball and you get there near the goal line it should be him khil Herbert will mix in with him a little bit but if they loved khil Herbert that much DeAndre Swift wouldn't be there on a new three-year contract yeah 100% agree there they clearly aren't all in on C Herbert who's more of a five to seven or seven to 10 yeah yeah but I will say I think it's kind of Interest I mean like but uh I will say it's kind of interesting that Roshan Johnson I think it's a healthy scratch healthy scat scratch they got Travis Homer as the rb3 well and Homer yeah but Homer will play special te right yeah exactly so I do think Herbert sort of I I don't know that I would start him today but I do think I actually think Swift have a better day than any of us want him to um all right here we go cool see need a second wide receiver running back PPR Drake London George Pickins Portland sutner DeAndre Swift or javante Williams throwing a bevy of options hash FF pregame you think he needs does he need a second wide receiver or two wide receivers I think it's two of the three wide receivers is who benching yes and Drake London is the no-brainer if it's just one guy if it's one guy it's London if it if you need two wide receivers it's London and Pickins for me yeah Swift or Javon uh yeah I mean we just talked about Swift but I'm gonna go with Javon Williams again I think that's a high-scoring game I think that's a sneakily high-scoring game Denver and Seattle um and uh yeah I mean I just again there's so many more weapons for the Bears tough three run defense in Tennessee there and the Bears I just I think it's going to be the Caleb show I think it's DJ Moore and Keenan Allen so yeah give me gavon Williams I think javante Williams higher probability of scoring a touchdown then DeAndre Swift so that would be my lean if you're picking a running back out of two to go with Javonte Williams and of those running backs 21 through 30 I'm most curious to see what Tony Pard does today is he the guy who looks like the Tony Pard from two years ago or he's the guy who's still trying to regain his full speed he looks so much better second half of last season and now he has a chance to really establish L himself with the Titans to the wide receivers we go one through 10 and Barry a guy who seems undefeated against father time with Mike Evans at number nine yeah like look he's undefeated against father time and um everyone that plays the Washington secondary also undefeated let's go hand in hand I mean listen no team in the NFL allowed more touchdowns on deep passes than the Washington commanders they allowed seven more than any other team they also gave up the most yards in the second most fantasy points to wide receivers they really haven't done much to improve that secondary um in this off season uh as well so just Mike Evans is going to get a massive Target sh from Baker Mayfield you already heard you know I have Baker as a top eight play I know you're you love the Bucks to to roll my commanders I sadly agree with you Jay like a gri yeah I mean that's their Battle Cry yeah Mike I'll I'll tell you this uh I bet I bet Mike Evans at a at alt line to get a 100 yards on DraftKings just at plus money because I think I think there's a very good chance he gets there yep yeah we love Mike Evans today be a fast start for Mike Evans and we got olave one spot behind him at number 10 and the Saints what are we anticipating out of their passing game this year it's year two of Derek K not sure George not sure what the Saints gav is gonna look like look Chris is gonna be fine because he's Chris o la he is just he's in that tier of play where he's just too good too talented to fail I'm a little bit worried though that a lot of his value comes from those deep depth of Target plays I'm just not sure that Derek car is going to survive in the pocket long enough with that offensive line to get a lot of those deep throws so not a terrifying match up against Carolina by any means but Chris olve I me it's a big year for olve who was a little bit underwhelming last season after an amazing rookie year I think that a lot of his success is going to be tied to the offensive line out performing expectations with the Jets obviously we got Aaron roggers and now Garrett Wilson I mean his average draft position he was bunched around what maybe top five among the wi receivers is he going to live up to that today yeah he is uh Matthew has him wide receiver five this week he's my wide receiver four for the season interesting thing too about Olive Gary Wilson's former teammate they've both have had two 1,000 yard seasons to start off the difference is Chris salive done that with Derek Carr who's a you know average starting NFL quarterback the guys Garrett Wilson's been doing it with ain't maybe not even NFL quarterbacks backups at the at the very best are they so I would say Gary wi he's going to have a little trouble it's going to be a tough match up obviously against San Francisco and shar's Ward but I think it starts today, 1500 yards season starts now for Garrett Wilson who are we sitting here Garrett Wilson Nico Collins or auk auk probably auk yeah he's you know he's missed most of training camp I think it's going to be he'll be limited tough match up against the Jets as well he might see some s Garder yeah I I think it's Bren auk and I don't think it's particular close yep you're going to be on a snap count also our man Conor Rogers has been telling us there's bit more of a bit more scope for Source Gard to move around the formation he's typically just being on one side he can move around Shadow and even if he doesn't like DJ re's pretty good as well so uh it's not a great match up for auk or a great situation having not trying to gr deal I wouldn't be comfortable with that UK till at least week two see how week one plays out once he's back up to full speed as we go to 11 through 20 and we we've been touting this electric Texans passing game and you're saying 1 a 1 B with Nico Collins Stefan Diggs we got Collins at 14 this week he had two he averaged over over 31 fantasy points per game in his two games last year against the Colts just absolutely torched him 18 targets 16 receptions 341 yards two touchdowns in those two games against Indie he also got a 26% Target share 33 of those T 30 uh about a third of those targets came on deep passes as well so I just you know come on what are we doing niik Collins top 10 uh top top uh 14 play for me this week going to have a monster game got a lot of niik kons this year I think it's you got to feel real comfortable with what niik C is going should and one spot ahead of him Cooper cup at number 13 I feel like every segment in this show is Cooper cup compliant with our man Jay Croucher yeah I sping a lot about Cooper Cup today end all throughout the offseason so I just keep it short on this one two of the past three seasons George Cooper cup has been the fantasy leader among wide receivers in points per game two out of three years I get that he's older he's the same age as Tyreek Hill it's not like he's over the hill I think he's healthier expecting him monst the year from him agreed are do we have to believe it to see it with Drake London and the Falcons well because of the quarterback play you know that the Falcons have had the past two years Drake Leen Drake May didn't uh I'm sorry Drake London didn't get the pleasure of getting to play with former MVP Matt Ryan but now he'll get like like a like a SM like a little bit lower version of Matt Ryan now and Kurt Cousins and we've seen we've been able to see flashes unlike Chris salive and Garrett Wilson Drake London hasn't had a thousand yard season yet but he's been pretty damn close this man has a 10 catch 172 yard game on his resume that says we got to get him a quarterback and when you think about what's behind him there's Kyle pittz I know we talked about Darnell but Drake London is is it's a clear number one there's number one receivers but there's a clear number one in that's including Kyle pittz and that's Drake London and so here we go you know why I'm happy we don't have to have you go Spin Zone with why Desmond Ritter can actually be service quarterback start hearing about Michael pen uh just an eight-man league three Flex PPR three spots four players Nico Collins Drake London Debo Raheem moard who do you bench moard I think it's between Mo and Debo yeah i' probably go Debo I might bench Debo that just I appreciate by the way Kevin thank you so much for saying it's an eight-man League too many times people don't say that and you're just like come on this is a ridiculous team but this makes sense in an eight-man League it makes sense that you have those that many Star players I think I'm benching Debo just because again Brock prie has looked bad this preseason as well and I know that Trent Williams expected to play a but you know tough match up against the Jets Brock per has look bad and there's a chance the ners play well and just Debo doesn't do anything because it's a big chrish mcaffrey and George KD game like there's and maybe they do get iuk you know with a new I don't know I you've got a plethora of of good uh options there but I think I bench Debo I think I'm with George here I think to me the thing with Debo and why I would start him over mosa though I do think it's close is that I think he's going to be the wide receiver one for Brock cie and the kle Shanahan offense in that matchup and so like this might be the game that Deo gets the most usage All Season before Brandon auk and I it's still Deo Samuel I just worried that aan there is scope for him to really I mean he's not going to take over take over the backfield and where he mostly get the goal line carries most it's fairly High floor but uh I just I like Debo here I think most's got a better chance at a touchdown than Debo Samuel of those two and I just I like the game environment against the Jaguars better than the than the you know going against the Jets so it's just you know you in that in that jaguars Miami game you don't have two Elite defenses correct in that other game those are the two top two or three best defenses in the league 100% agree there let's go no huddle with these next three and for this next guy are we under selling Scary Terry who's had four straight thousand yard seasons he's going to be the number one option for Jaden Daniels we got a guy who likes to throw it deep now as he's making his Commander debut Buccaneers allowed the fourth yards to wide receivers last season we already think that the Buccaneers are going to have their way so they're going to have to be throwing and when they throw they're going to be throwing to Terry mclen you know uh averages over 16 fantasy points per game when his Target share is at least 23% we expect him to get a 23% Target share if not more today at 21 Jaylen Wadd yeah I think Jaylen WD has been a little bit forgotten because he didn't have a great year last year he was banged up all the last season we saw two years ago Jaylen W and Tyreek Hill both finish as top 10 wide receivers I think that's very much in the range of outcomes for w this season Deontay Johnson now with the Panthers yeah I would say outside Jaylen W anyone on this list right here he would be the next best guy to have a chance to be a top 12 receiver this year we saw that Bryce young can support a top 12 even a top 10 wide receiver in fantasy he did that without without feeling now he's got a new wide receiver one in Deontay Johnson Matthew with the tight ends here and we've saying okay if auk isn't fully up to speed could it be a George KGAN yeah I I think it can be right like again how many snaps is Brandon auk going to play last year no tight end had more fantasy points per Target than George KD minimum of 50 targets and so the Jets who last year actually tied for the second most touchdowns allowed to opposing tight ends and so you could see especially with a with a fierce pass rush that the Jets are going to bring pressure you could see Brock py looking for KD again with iuk banged up and maybe not out there a ton I think KD is a top three play this week next step for Dalton concade now year two with the bill as a tight end yeah well first I love the during the right now Matthew Barry is betting on he literally has it up the best time to bet when you got something man and like yeah speaking of draft on DraftKings uh Don King Kade is the only tight end who has the highest yardage prop on his team this week and I think that speaks to his importance in this offense he's been a lot of talk like Keon Coleman khil Shakir Kurt Samuel uh the answer is Don King Kade I think I think he is going to be the number one receiver for the bills in this new off he'll have a greater rapport with Josh Allen in year two keep in mind Travis Kel's already played and that's right we got Trey McBride all the way up Florence to number two right under Sam lorta he should be there I won't be shocked if he finishes number one Speaking of leading receivers he is their leading returning receiver that's who Kyler has the most chemistry with over 800 yards last season despite only starting 12 games out of a 17 Game season Marvin Harrison Junior's there but that's something we have to to wait and see we've seen it with Trey McBride he's live for a th000 yards this season he told me and Matthew that at the Super Bowl what real quickly just by the way worth noting that the Panthers allowed 25 rushing touchdowns last year Tamm Hill I think has a shot at getting into the end zone again as we talked about it's literally just him and CH in that back field at the moment and of this guys or of this list here top five Evan Ingram I think he's going to finish the season top two tight end had 114 receptions a year ago Trevor Lawrence now healthy I think engram set up for another massive year Sunday Night Football is back what a week we've had attack there so I expect n Harris to lead this backfield in touches today but I think give me two beers on Jaylen Warren just because again even though he wasn't on the injury report still he hasn't been you know he had that hamstring injury they might take it a little bit easier with him and again Fields opens up some running Lanes but there's also Fields takes away some some some you know some rushes that might have gone to Jaylen waren so two beers he's my running back uh 25 and now we have the ripple effect Justin Fields yeah starting for the Steelers and if anything last year with how inconsistent Fields was he did feed the ball to DJ Moore so with the Steelers number one in George Pickins Jay how many beers would you need two beers for George Pickins Fields makes me a little bit address the their deficiencies there but Titans have a really strong defensive line right they allow the fifth uh the sixth fewest fantasy points to running backs last season they were top five in terms of both Fest receptions and receiving yards allowed to opposing running backs so if Swift isn't being used much in the in the passing game again we like KH Herbert KH Herbert's good like I think we and we just I don't know how this backfield shakes out we think DeAndre Swift is going to get a big workload but maybe not he got a massive workload in Philadelphia but when he was in Detroit he was always a part-time player I just I three beers makes me a little nervous makes me a little nervous I'm starting him a lot today are you Swift I mean 15 touches probably maybe he's my running back
