Jets D-line Has Bounceback Opportunity. Trade Reddick?

the Jets are on to Tennessee and the reic updates that aren't really updates at all uh the junior Jets open as three and a half Point Road favorites against the Titans who are 0 and one after blowing a 17-point lead to the Chicago Bears and the Jets number one will have an opportunity to prove that they could stop the run they got a bounce back there um if you're the Titans you're probably going to feed Tony par to heavy workload early and often until the Jets prove they could stop him Pard has been one of the most um underrated backs in NFL for long time he's better than the running back we played uh in week one right uh at least more accomplished and Callahan's great the titans most of their starting offensive line is are better run blockers than pass protectors at least analytically the Titans aren't a team that I've watched a ton recently to be honest uh but I look at the matchups in terms of pass rush now to be fair I I did think there were some pretty good matchups for the 49ers offensive line and we kind of got blanked but JC leam rookie left tackle who's a merer he had the second highest run blocking grade of any left tackle in the NFL in week one but his pass blocking grade was one of the worst so he is really a run blocking first player right now and and his weakness uh coming out of Alabama was speed and I think it could be an opportunity uh situationally for McDonald to take advantage of that um quiny Williams scony is a player who I liked coming out of college but his pass protection has been subpar he and lean gave a give up a combined 13 pressures in week one and a lot of that was compounded by the fact that their Young quarterback will Levis tends to extend plays and hold the ball he has an atrocious in his career uh pressure to sack ratio which is really a referendum on a quarterbacks like pocket awareness basically um so yeah the Jets this should be a game that they should win I think they overall have the better roster I think they have the better quarterback um you know we're not going to have a ton of coaching advantages but it's not like we're facing Kyle Shanahan again so I think the three and a half to four point spread is about right and I expect the New York Jets to win this game right before I went to record this Jeremy Fowler tweeted out that he spoke to several League Executives uh that believe the Jets will have no choice but to trade Hassan reic I mean I mean Conor Hughes reported that Joe douas and the agent talked but he said not to make much of it so it just feels like it's something that comes up cyclically where these guys is like oh let's just talk say something about Hassan reck but I mean until until it says the Jets until it says he's showing up or he signed a contract I mean it's all just speculation um I don't think they'll they'll trade him I don't know if that makes any sense but uh it is what it is man if he wants to show up I don't know what his demands are so I think we can kind of do away with the fact the notion that he's like a luxury and we're like we have a stacked defensive line without him I mean Michael Clemens is starting on our base defense but but that doesn't that still doesn't mean I want the Jets to Fork over this dude a threee $80 million deal after he held out and then you're dealing with the same situation if he wants to hold out in the future so it's just wait and see you kind of have to be in the mindset that if he does show up it's like a bonus and you have to figure it out with the guys who are here like even a guy like Leakey fotu Lakey fotu is not saving you respectfully you know I'm sure he's a nice rotational player but you got to figure out a way to to bounce back with the guys who are here and the Jets to do it and then hey turn around week from now and beat the Patriots right as bad as that week week one was you know he is down even if you're the most down andout Jeet fan like do you think you're going to lose to the Titans think they're going to lose to the Patriots probably not um it's possible but probably not so be two and one uh a week from now and and then we'll go from there and we'll top all soon
