008: Bill Belichick's new GF

Oilers comeback the Philly Joe and Kirby podcast this is the Philly Joe and Kirby podcast if I may point out that the Ebon Oilers are undefeated since quote the statement I got drunk and Whi my out at an Oilers game and they went viral you if you don't like it Go Oilers what did I say I thought that was going to fire up the fellas I wonder if she was out the game well the game was in uh Florida last night right yeah so maybe she'll be at the game when they get back to better I would think I would think the Oilers get her a ticket think the Oilers should offer her a ticket to be honest season ticketon tickets absolutely she's that big of a fan I would you don't like it have off partying man um she was by the river last night Kirby her happy place you knew anything about her she was watching the well the Edmonton River Valley is very beautiful it's her place I'll tell you wasn't the valley involving her that was getting her accolades okay it was the mountains oh the mountains yes uh the Oilers though man they have uh they have certainly what's a good way to put it if they they grab the uh the hard yeah momentum but I mean the whole country's watching now because not that we weren't at the start of the series but there's just something about the way this Series has gone they're down and out they're rallying back they got the best player on the planet right now it's I find them to be a likable team well if you're a kid growing up and you see a lot of them wearing McDavid uh t-shirts or jerseys they don't necessarily have to be an Edmonton Oilers fan he's just one of those phenoms right he's got lightning in a bottle as they say and he's taken these last two games and been the prolific player for a team that was down three and0 that's a pretty good sports story if you're writing a story and I think that has gotten a lot more eyeballs on the TV screen again watching this series since it's been three down cuz I think everybody expected it to be a great series and now it's become a very good series if it goes if the momentum swing happens and your star player listen the league has to be happy that the biggest star in the game today is making a difference now in this series yeah he's doing he's doing great player stuff and and like hey he'll be the first to point out it's a whole team effort Kirby everybody's pulling for the Oilers right now goalie is on fire SK playing well yeah yeah and bosski showing some cracks in the boat the last couple of games the one thing is Florida did uh come back and rally a couple times in this game last night so game six looks like it could be a good one on H Friday night but man what a party in Edmonton though like they brought in all of that you know Jazz like Shania Twain was there at the last game she high-fived everybody and so now it's like it's on a Friday night our lady pece was it our lady pieace they started it yeah g started okay and then now I just want to know what's going to happen on Friday you got to go big now you got to bring uh it's got to be probably Nickelback have they been around yet for this series that would be amazing I think they get everybody fired up k out to rally the troops what it I'll tell you why because the past winter we had how there was hardly any precipitation no snowfall at all and the water levels were so low this spring and you know what last year we were in a drought the year before we were in a drought I yes understand the farmers had enough and that but you know what bring up those water levels I love it keep on raining rain every day except the day I want to fish well the fishing schedule is very important that's right is it not true though that uh apparently fishing is very good when it rains like while it's raining I don't know I'm not a Fisher person but if somebody wants to I have heard that let us know that sometimes the conditions cooler weather like like not super yeah seem to bite when it rains I don't know one thing I've noticed is that when you go fishing every every angler I guess has like a certain thing that they like to think about how to cash catch fish right like I I've gone fishing with somebody who told me they like to listen to ACDC the fish bite more when you play ACDC and I'm like oh okay I didn't know that oh yeah they all have their routines their theories why can't fish have a favorite band I'm not saying how many fish like the band fish I don't know Belichick GF things we want to know ah light rain not heavy rain Bill bich man that guy is just a winner through and through just whoo's success all he's ever done is Win yep and now here he is not coaching anymore but the news is surfacing that he at the rip old age of 72 years old bellich dating rumored to be dating 24-year-old Jordan Hudson they have a lot more in common than you think they're both big fans of football she was a cheerleader and he was a coach coach 48e difference she looks like like one of his daughters and I I just always wonder with an age Gap like that what the hell do they've got in common 24 years old she could be a granddaughter actually yeah if you really want to break it down if you want to put it that way well they met on an airplane she was studying she he apparently what he signed her textbook on the plane they were sitting beside each other they do have more in common and she said thanks for the lesson on logic or something like that cuz he was helping her study and uh they connected and here they are dating he's a tutor yeah little side hustle tutoring students well let me tell you a little something I'm a football coach let me tell you about logic I just never saw him this way like you know you there's certain guys that you're not surprised at all that they're dating uh girls much younger right Leo yeah or or whatever but Bill bich just didn't seem to be that guy but then that video surfaced right around the Tom Brady roast of Brady or sorry bich leaving a person's house leaving a girl's house on the we don't know if that was Jordan Hudson but he looks he we we could all relate to the video cuz bich looked like he had a rough night like heed he didn't have his shoes on he was barefoot and he's looking around he can't find Walk of shade yes he can't find his phone and he's like oh my god get me out here I need to get a c I don't know if it was a walk of shame as much as he just looked hung over like it was a he put in a shift like doing something that's right yeah interesting okay and and they've always said he's had a great sense of humor in that I don't know maybe he's more of a ladies man than when did you ever see him outside of a cut off sleeve sweatshirt right you know there's other layers to this man that's probably what it was for her nothing gets nothing gets me really turned on than a man who takes a shirt that has long sleeves a hoodie SLE and then cuts the sleeves off uh do you think she tries to participate in what he wears or is she just put up with the cut off sleeves on the hoodie is she like well we're about to find out if B Chuck's image is about to you know we got to go shopping I will say this I'm a little surprised by your response Kirby you're you're always trying to be open-minded about love and and things and he's 72 and she's 24 not with an age Gap like that I'm sorry well how do you hey who am I to step in and say that so that bothers you the age Gap yes oh okay yeah personally yeah all right well we'll see how it changes bill that's what I apparently they've been dating for a little while and I mean I haven't I don't know this came up on the Boston Pizza text line it's a very valid point uh Kirby if the age Gap bothers you that much then Madonna and share must be in your bad books too and you're a share fan yeah what's that and you've actually said good for her that she's dating younger because it shouldn't matter so what's the difference well no there's no difference I mean I just always have to wonder what people have in common when you're that big of an age Gap and in this case with bellich chuk I mean like he's got power he's got money he's got you know so there's a bit of he's unemployed well okay find a job there's a bit of an imbalance there so I just wonder when it involves young women that's all M gotcha the man on a plane I don't know if she's met Brady yet but you know we F in the cards you want to meet Tom Brady like what's what what what kind of pickup line are you using maybe that was the initial conversation you know can I buy you a drink on the plan let's be honest Brady would steal steal her in 7 seconds so he's not introducing her to Brady or groon kosi or any of those I hope she enjoys early bed times because I can't see bellich Chuck hanging out anytime you enjoy early bed times yeah well I'm in my 30s okay but she's like 24 she's probably like you know out partying with her girlfriends and like with him now he's out there no he's not going to she's going to leave him at home listen how do you think her parents feel going oh yeah oh you're going out with coach bichi and and he's retired your dad's 10 years away from being retired they have more in common with bichu for it though with the quality and creativity of the card itself I'll give you full marks for that a lot of effort in that yeah most guys aren't putting that kind of effort in but you do put the this question came up because Father's day was just a few days ago and it was uh a certain percentage of young adults I think it was about 60% of young adults ages 18 to about 24 would call Dad before Mom if this happened and the number one answer was getting Juiced if you got that intoxicated You' probably go to Dad before you would Mom and then the other two answers in the top three where if there was Damage Done to the house maybe you took the stripping off of the garage door moving the car something like that you call Dad but the other answer was vehicle related and that was about crashing the family getting into an accident you'd call that I I can tell you growing up my mom had absolute Wonderful Grace when it came to me getting in trouble at school so my dad just had no patience for that he was a hammer when it came to that stuff and it was big trouble like he just he thought I should stop being such a dick at school and just behave and get better marks but I I don't know I look at you now yeah right A Class Clown School idiot but at least his words but so I'll just give you one story uh uh report card no wasn't a report card I got in trouble at home or at school once and I needed my both my parents to sign something that I I had like you remember having to do it probably was like an essay on why you start behaving or some garbage to do with it not garbage I deserved it but to do with a detention and so I had I did it and then I said mom is there any way you know like can you do me a solid here does Dad I have to know about this and she she looked at me she signed her name signed his name and then hand it to me and said now smarten up cuz this is the last time I'll do this for you last time I'm going to fraudulently sign your father's name and set a good example that's awesome that's a great mom yeah yeah helping a brother out my mom was the hard ass I'm not going to lie everybody feared her in my family so my dad was the go-to and I remember when I was learning how to drive uh my mom had initially started to teach me she would take me out driving and then uh there was one day I took a corner really really sharp and almost had the vehicle on two wheels so my mom said that's enough it's your turn Howard and uh that's I just I I called my dad for everything like he taught me how to drive anything to do with the vehicle you know get in an accident call Dad he'll figure it out and there's a lot of like well we're not going to tell your mom about this yeah oh you listen the first time we met your father Howard we knew right away you were daddy's little girl there was like there nothing had to be said or done that's just the way it yeah we don't need you telling us that yeah we figured it out right but yeah and that's good that's good I mean that's why that song gets played at wedding still to this day right the father daughter dad D's little girl but I'll tell you listen in my house it was as old school as old school got right my dad my mom never drove my mother never got her license she just worked or or was a housewife at some points or just a a mom right raising her two boys so you grew up in an Italian household there's a good chance you're a mama's boy going so there were certain things you just never went to Dad about my dad was a hard ass with me my brother was the favorite kid so that you double dip into that you're not going to him for many things I told you before at this point in my life dad and I still haven't had the birds and the bees talk okay so yeah I mean every family's different but sounds like we were similar though dad was a dad was a hammer he had no the same age yeah they went to work they didn't want to be bothered when they got home with more BS right they just wanted to have their Siesta on the couch there till dinner was ready let's say in my house I was lucky my dad got home before my mom though and he was a great cook too so he'd have his little moments after dinner on the couch but none of them wanted to come home from work and hear any BS about one of the boys oh my mom used to say when we'd be fighting your dad's going to be home soon let me tell you he's having a rough day you guys better start behaving mom just assumed he was having a rough day cuz he always came home cranky oh my God that's pjk extra this this is the Leaving a resturant Philly Joe and Kirby podcast you know when you walk into like one of those like uh like restaurants or pubs or a bar where where you seat yourself mhm okay I hate when they don't have a sign sidebar and I don't know whether to seat myself or sit there and wait yeah and then they don't come to you right away and you're like oh my God this is awkward am I supposed to just go sit down it is one of those yeah a up I don't know what to do I need direction be seated I need direction a lot of places do have that please wait to be seated and some people don't even read that sign either cuz they're pretending to look for a friend and then fo they sit down right it's a great it's a great deal but some places they do want you to just come in and sit okay but yeah so for those places where you would just sit down yourself how long would you guys wait before you would get up and leave uh if if like a server didn't come right away like at least that initial point of contact throw a water down on the table say hello give you a menu your server is Gloria she'll be here in a second yeah how long how long would you sit there and hang around before you'd get up and and maybe leave I'm gonna like I've got a thought but Joe you're a restaurant tour you're uh you know the business um what do you think I think more times than not that happens if you just grab a seat yourself because sometimes the server doesn't know that that table has been occupied cuz they're busy with others I think it happens less if you walk in and get seated by a host in restaurants I'd say for me I'm pretty patient 20 minutes 15 15 20 minutes before I would get probably somewhat frustrated yeah I'm a glutton for punishment I have a hard time complaining in a restaurant like I'm not I will I I rarely will send food back and I will wait I'll be collecting dust I'll be mad about it what the hell kind place is this and then but I'll just and what else do we have to [ __ ] about for the rest of the day right so I'll sit and wait sitting with you is fun of those scenarios how about you Cur you know I got nowhere to be like I I don't mind waiting mhm so you're not someone who will get up and leave if if if you're not at all or do you have a like after 20 minutes or so I mean what you almost don't have a choice yeah I would say the cut off is like 20 minutes because after that like you're just like am I in ible full transparency uh 2 and 1/2 hours and uh I'll probably pass out from lack of food my blood sugar levels will be down and then they're going to have to move me from the table as they clunk but have you ever seen one of those people that makes like a stink about something like that you know like I recently saw that where somebody was just like uh they're waiting and they're huffing and puffing and they're like you know putting their menu down multiple times like we're like yes we get it you know you're ready to order but why there are those who you know expect you're paying good money when you go into a restaurant y it ain't cheap and it never was so I don't look I we all kind of said that we will wait all three of us but I don't fault the people who won't hey excuse me can I get sometimes you have a lunch break and you only get a certain amount of time so that makes sense no no 100% but I think to be honest since Co a lot more people are taking a little bit more time too there's a little bit more patients in that department there's no rush rush rush usually to get back to work cuz the flex schedules and everything yeah but you're right why if if if someone's frustrated they they have the right to leave if they're not getting the service that they want as far as that goes too it opens it up that the server has more time for your own table if somebody gets up and leaves you're playing with less numbers now if I've parked my car and I've walked into a restaurant and made the decision that I'm eating there like I it's just such a pain to have to leave go find another place where are we going now I don't know right you want good service go with my mom she will not put up with anything like she's she you better serve her in the first 30 seconds she's in there she's always sending her food back every and then my dad my dad I told you not to order that it wouldn't have mattered what she ordered though no it doesn't matter she can order the best meal in Canada hobbit they have really big feet okay and yeah no he doesn't look like he would do well at a nude resort and Darth Vader would be wearing the helmet still but that's it but that's it CL no CL and the cloak just the cloak and the helmet but nothing else well you know what I I I feel like Darth could be a good time mhm I would go with him yeah I don't know Bilbo would be more fun than Darth Vader but uh you don't know the other character really I don't really know the other character he's a happy go-lucky guy he looks very lovely like he would be just a great person to have a cup of tea with going to go sit at the swim up bar and you're going to go hey Bilbo's here already today yeah that's the guy like Darth Vader's not going to have fun with you and you're right you're 6'2 Bilbo's about 4' one so you look huge next to him going we're going to sit him right up on the bar the rest of us are sitting around and we're going to have a bunch of Shooters together that's Bilbo you're not doing that with Darth Vader you sound like you're a good time at that Resort show well why not you're paying big money to stay at a resort M they're not pour they're not pouring the expensive booze in those bottles would you rather be reincarnated I like bringing back the reincarnated ones being being reincarnated as a raccoon or as a kodo dragon well obviously a raccoon mhm because they're Patrick suy Ralph Mt Dylan well I've only seen one of those movies one of them was for a not so new movie review The Warriors and the other one I don't know The Outsiders you said okay but they kind of look like uh like greasers like you what they are that's what they're called greasers yeah you'd be part of the other gang they're called socials like for social media oh okay yeah no I'll go with The Outsiders you're going to go Outsiders okay I have to go with Warriors because I saw that movie before I ever saw The Outsiders and I really liked both but the Warriors was just intense yeah really intense they had that radio voice right the female radio voice just the lip showing in that and just the intensity of them just moving yeah you ready you ready to get into a gang fight over the weekend then if you're you got to fight those guys on roller skates there was that street gang on roller SK both had to go hiding yeah they did right then there was the baseball gang I'm going End meets and trans Kota a lot so but I I love trying I love trying new butchers you can't have enough butchers in your life look at that quality meat for Quality guys yeah farmer go see Frank farmer
