hi my name is Julian Ben and I'm from planfield Illinois and I'm a first year student part of the College of Nursing I'm so excited to begin this recruitment process for as long as I can remember I've always loved service and volunteerism I attended an elementary school that was private and took us on service-based field trips which is where I believe I found my love for helping others for my birthdays as a child I requested that instead of gifts guests would bring resources we could donate to a local home shelter with that being said I have always loved helping others I always the friend that people look to for advice and I um am considered the mom of the group um throughout High School I spent my time volunteering at my local hospital Humane Society and Community Center and though the jobs were different I learned so many memories and life skills that I am eternally grateful for my goals to work in the niku or the ne NATO ICU and work alongside others to positively change those around me working with sick infants sounds exhausting to some but I see so many Pros that will make it all worth it my longtime goal to work in healthcare is rooted my desire to make my markk on the world I believe that everyone has their purpose and reason to be in this world and I have found that helping people is mine I value everyone around me and I know that there's a reason for everything I know that living in Iowa City and and pursuing Greek life will show me in more ways than one another reason why I was placed here on this Earth becoming part of a sorority is so much more than just finding your sisters and I'm so excited that through this new Avenue I can explore everything that these Dynamic groups of women have to offer I'm so excited to be involved in the big things but not only that the little things from talking at the house and planning events I'm so excited to hear from the different sororities about their values to find the place where I most belong to make some lifelong friends and memories thank you and go Hawks
