Sean Manaea, José Iglesias & more Mets answer the tough questions about tennis | Warm & Fuzzy

now for some of these players it's their first time playing in New York and that can be difficult because New Yorkers are a tough crowd thankfully there's some local athletes who play next door at City Field that know how to cope with such a situation so ball boy go to City Field and give some warm and fuzzy to the [Applause] [Music] Mets are you a fan of tennis at all yes I love tennis I have so much respect for the players big fan I played a little bit when I was younger but I couldn't handle all the running the starting and stopping you know it's super competitive I'm really obsessed with the mental part of it you have one point and then it's immediately on to the next one that's kind of like how it is with pitching what's the best way to win over New York fans winning and being good play good that's it I'd say the pretty simple answer would be winning nothing but the best good luck enjoy the moment play hard don't give up oh my God as a baseball player growing up did you ever tried to play baseball with a tennis ball 100% we also play there is a game in ndr La plita that we actually play with tennis bow he's similar like uh a cricket actually substitute the baseball on the bat for a tennis racket and tennis ball and so we'd have a lot of fun doing that I would find myself playing uh wall ball a lot that's what we call it just catching a tennis ball 100 times his way 100 times his way how fast do you think you can pitch a tennis ball I don't know maybe 80 mph I don't know maybe 80 90 maybe 80 I would say 100 did anybody say that that is that that's a bit of a stretch I'm going to I'm going to stick with 100 though I like it I like the confidence we have a player on tour Ben Shelton who can hit a serve up to 150 mph what do you think is harder so actually saw Ben play a bunch in college definitely can't return that a't on basball I mean just it's so hard to do it's was really hard I mean 15 is really fast I would probably just eat it in outer space I'm going to go with baseball batting for sure yeah they have a smaller bat I mean the the racket's like this big got a lot more surface area the bat is like just smaller so just science do you think you'd have a chance of returning and serve with a few practice maybe what do you think sack yes so yes what do you think is harder being a bat boy for baseball or being a ball boy for tennis probably bat boy cuz you're doing it all by yourself I think with a ball boy you've got a little bit of help baseball you know it's kind of like a longer Sprint but I feel like in tennis is more active I'm just going to go tennis there I said it I think maybe tennis I think you got him beat a little bit cuz there's just a lot of pressure to like keep the flow going so you have a song with the Mets OMG if I'm correct from any of the tennis players that you've seen who do you think would make the best singer alar show 100% you heard her here first alaras who do you think is going to win this year's open no doubt he wow this is New York so that means you got to go get a g Yankees won now there's two teams here [Music]
