today we break ground on our new $15 million Education and Training Facility dedicated to service-based professions these are cosmetology barbering Aesthetics and massage therapy this facility which will be located right over here on this field represents our ongoing commitment to Workforce training and career Excellence construction on the site will begin and will give way to a beautiful twostory 25,000 ft training facil fac scheduled to open in January of 2026 this new building is going to replace an aging facility and provide our students with access to Modern equipment and the state of an art building while allowing us to best prepare our students for the future by equipping more students with the skills needed for high demand in service fields we can help keep our community strong and competitive what we're doing here is changing lives we change communities we change a student's life which changes a family's life and having buildings that represent the importance of what is happening at a technical college is crucial [Applause]
