all and see what at the end of the day I think it'll benefit us in the long run though sorry to jump in here but uh maybe give me a uh scouting report on Taiwan garbage we really don't know a whole lot about feel it were your eager right he's been waiting for his opportunity right he's been patient he's done everything we we asked him to do um he was in the running to be a starter before he got injured in the preseason and uh you know we we're excited to see him out there right and see him get his chance to run around what what would how would you describe his skill set um how how vicious are those how strong are those rival pretty versatile actually you know what I mean he can beat you with power he can beat you with speed beat you with hands right he's he's talented that way I mean he's still young still a rookie right he's still going to have his his ups and downs in his learning moments but at the end of the day we you know we believe he's a talented football player you said something yesterday that sounded like kind of the bomber way in that when he was out he wanted to teach Owen Hubert he wanted to help uh lucky to and those are guys that don't have much more experience at him but it sounded like a guy that probably fits your prototype yeah so when we say experience like he's he's been in the building right so he knows the rules the calls and that kind of thing so the experience part is just executing it so being able to talk to those guys like yeah that that's a benefit um definitely an asset to the younger guys that you know he was one able to but also willing to just one more for me what do you see different from skatan in a Trevor Harris Leed offense to Shay Patterson off uh they're similar man they're similar in the sense that their their discipline is still there they they execute the things they do at a fairly High LEL um I think he's a little more dynamic in the sense that he can create with his legs he can extend plays a little bit different differently than Trevor Harrison although he is getting rid of the ball quickly like his ability to extend plays you know is is probably his biggest strength I know you've been asked a ton about the defensive line so far this season but do you feel like uh just continuing with that Trend feel like uh you got your that line has had a chance to like actually settle in at any point this year yet oh no not at all not at all um they've been doing the best they can with with what they've been given but you know in terms of chemistry in terms of finding like each individual uh spot like finding a home like we've been kind of working through guys because of the injury situation at the end of the day I think it'll benefit us in the long run and Taiwan obviously that's a good step in the right direction obviously yeah I mean again we'll see what we what we end up with again he's a he's a young guy who hasn't been on the field like you know he's got I think the one game at the end of the year last year right where he's played any any meaningful snaps so again we're not putting too much on his lap but uh we do you know I'm excited about him individually as his talent level and and what he may bring to the game is it fair to say uh defense is finding its most success this season Jordan when you're getting pressure on the quarterback that's every defense right cuz the pressure the pressure ends up covering for mistakes right and uh without the pressure in the back end you pretty much got to be perfect right so the pressure again take pressure can cover some routes at times and and again we we'd love to see us get to the point where we understand things better understand protections well enough to get more pressure as a DB yourself I know you always keep your eyes sharp on the receivers across the league and and here in Winnipeg as well uh what have you seen in in a lot of these young guys as your head coach has uh stated that uh the talent level on a broad scope was incredibly high this year with the young guys oh man it's uh I think I think like across the league like teams are pretty settled in in their offensive systems for the most part and they've they're structured in a way where these young guys can come in and contribute right away right and we're seeing that across the league where you know even you know with our group uh Wilson the way he was able to to have an impact and click with Zach right um and KCK week to 111 yes yes 100% and these guys are are so gifted that way and I you know it's a testament I think to the offensive coaches like here and in around the league in general that they can get these young guys up to speed so quick that they can contribute and be impact players imagine it helps when you have a veteran quarterback like Zack 100% And then just as important to have a veteran next to you to let you know or remind you hey this is what we got on this thanks sure no problem thank you [Music] n [Music]
