keep working hard um get the bar up uh as much as you can and uh maybe this may be one of many uh nrl games for you think about when you've made your debut greatest moment in life let's say we care really yeah oh my god congratulations thanks they told me to start a training really yeah so yeah oh my god that's so exciting hello hey hey how's it going what's up yeah pretty good uh yeah a little bit news yeah um this week yeah i'm making my debut unreal congratulations tonight yeah thanks unreal unreal oh that's just amazing i obviously like you as well i hope so [Applause] hugely proud moment for me and my family um yeah 10 years of this club now so yeah i love this club i love the people here love all your boys all the staff and um yeah really excited so really excited for the boys making their debut um special club to join and be a part of and start the year off with a good win oh pretty much just just happiness fair few years of trying to work towards it finally uh getting the news that i was going to play um yeah it was pretty special moment and from then i guess it was just putting my mind towards actually doing what i have to get ready for it what's up joey goldberg they shouldn't let this bike on planes [Music] mr john jones who's that okay another success story not just this pre-season the back end of last year is uh tyron wisher and to present his jersey's parents rod and gilberto the day before was was pretty special um mum and dad came to the to the hotel and um the hotel in sydney and presented my jersey so that made it pretty uh realistic from then um yeah speaking in front of the team and finally getting that jersey presented to me um from there the nerves got pretty real and then yeah the next morning was probably the longest wait for a game i've ever experienced um yeah so the nerves were pretty real and then once i got to the to the actual ground that's when it really hit me so congratulations mate on behalf of our family and uh i guess every everyone here uh well done you you deserve it and um looking forward to um getting out there tomorrow night and i know you're gonna play your best and along with everyone else uh any more advice i can give you uh don't be comfortable there keep working hard um keep the bar up as much as you can and maybe this may be one of many uh nrl games for you so uh congratulations um wear this wear this young with pride i've played against these blokes a fair bit and yeah you know what your uh these blades are doing so um well done right [Applause] firstly i've got to thank um frank craig and um the rest of the coaching staff for um for believing believing in me and giving me this opportunity um yeah i appreciate it a lot and i'm doing my best not to let let you down yeah obviously dad said it i've wanted to play nrl for a long time um and yeah for it to be in in this jersey obviously dad touched on it before when he got the call he called me up i thought i would have taken the piss thought he must have been prank call um but yeah it means a lot that it's happening in this jersey and i hope that there's many more to come and also to do it with you blokes yeah it means a lot and i'm i'll we're going to be more aggressive than that enthusiasm right let's play our footy storm footy all right let's introduce [Music] [Music] i sort of had an idea i'd get on the first half but i didn't realize it was going to be that quick obviously um but it was probably a good thing in the end i didn't didn't have much time to think about it it was just get up and go on pretty much obviously the the start was pretty slow um they they were winning at half time and then we had to eventually come back that second half and i guess it was a good way to win really we just stuck in there and um went back to playing our footy that we trained all pre-season for and then yeah obviously it was a good wine [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] thank you unreal honestly unreal i don't know what to say dream come true just so good just glad we got the job done and got to win on the debut honestly so stoked love this club so happy to be here obviously uh kingy means and zave made their club debut um but yeah i was i was lucky enough to share my debut with alec and um he had a ripper of a game and obviously he's he's taken the opportunity he's played every game since and he's been massive for the for the team so far so yeah it was i was stoked to share um share that moment with him and um yeah we had a few conversations before the game sort of tapping each other and saying that's actually happening um yeah so that made it a bit easier i guess like i said before a fair few years in the in the making really and yeah it was pretty satisfying [Music]
