welcome back to BT a new phone a new watch new airpods and some major upgrades are all hitting the market joining us for a full recap on everything from Apple's big event yesterday is Drew kab he is at the actual Apple headquarters in copertino California that's a unique amazing shot Drew good morning thank you very much Sid yeah it's very uh picturesk and beautiful here but yesterday this place was an absolute Buzz as Apple was unveiling all of their brand brand new products that we can look forward to getting our hands on not this Friday but next Friday all right let's dive into it the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Pro what do we need to know uh we're talking new colors we're talking great new camera features and a deep AI integration so with the iPhone 16 lineup uh we're seeing uh five new colors that are absolutely gorgeous now the biggest physical change is something called camera control which is an extra point on your phone that allows you to adjust different camera features like Zoom or focus and that's available on the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Pro Models as well so this is a really neat feature if you're just snapping some family photos or want to do more elaborate stuff what you're seeing right here is called visual intelligence that allows you to snap a photo of whatever you see in your surrounding world to learn more about it like a restaurant to learn the reservations and more this all ties into Apple intelligence Apple's AI functions that will be launching on the new new iPhone 16s later on this fall and it can do all sorts of things like taking a look at your inbox and prioritizing the emails that you have to reply to First summarizing those emails or if you're typing out a reply anywhere that you can basically put text into your phone Apple intelligence can help you craft that so you can change the tone check for spelling mistakes and so much more the iPhone 16 lineup has four different phones four different sizes including the largest size display that we've ever seen on an iPhone Apple seem to be pretty intelligent before this is taking it to a whole different level that's uh going to be interesting to watch speaking of watches the Apple Watch series 10 is out in the world so to speak what did you see yeah this one is really cool because they did a big redesign to really streamline it but they're adding some really interesting new health features inside of the series 10 as well so the Apple Watch series 10 has a larger display so that's going to be great for when you're previewing your emails or the text there's just going to be able to fit that much more text on the screen as you can see here this is comparing the size to other versions of Apple watch and this one is thinner with a larger display and there's some great new features on there like right now we're looking at the uh the diving feature so if you're out snorkeling or maybe you're doing some swimming in a pool it will show you your depth and the water temperature and the other thing that was really cool with Apple Watch series 10 is it's going to be able to monitor for sleep apnea so um it'll take your data over the course of 30 days looking for interrup eruptions in your breathing while you're sleeping so this is a really deep metric that you're going to be able to follow along with alongside your sleep tracking Drew finally I'm My Lifestyle includes an airpod anytime I run an erand anytime I leave the house it's it's part of who I am right now there might be one in there right now I'm not even sure there's a new model coming out what do I need to know yeah so we have uh two new models of airpods and we're getting some changes to some existing airpods so uh for the the Baseline airpods we have two new options to be looking forward to with a redesigned tip on there to be an open ear design so it's going to be very very comfortable and they're bringing some features that were previously available on the pro series now on the new airpods 4 you're looking at the airpods max there these are the headphones we have some new color options there plus USBC charging and then airpods Pro 2 has a new feature that's going to be monitoring for hearing loss so you can do a little test on your iPhone with your airpods Pro 2 and you can check to see if your hearing is a or you can kind of monitor it over time so that's a new feature that's coming to existing airpods we've seen some new colors the airpods pro Max and we got to see some new Baseline airpods as well lots of choices for enjoying your music from copertino California live that is Drew coab Drew for BT great stuff let's talk again soon
