that's right if you've never played the sport before you probably wondered one time what is it like to truly be a football player well Louisiana Tech gave many the chance to put those skills to the test on the turf and get down with the dogs at the third annual Women's Clinic the women of bulldog Nation got the opportunity to see a behind the-scenes look of the football program and they not only got to see it they got to live it too by putting their skills to the test and going through a couple drills themselves [Applause] 2 it feels good like finally just make putting a smile on these women's faces like they're actually interested in what we doing it makes me feel good to know that I can just give back to the community and make these women feel special you just have an understanding of the joy that um you get to see and you get to bring to others um and then I think that's the biggest thing for our players to interact you know with the ladies that come I think there it's twofolds it's it's it's the impact that had on people's lives and continually has on people's lives and to play a very very very small part in that in terms of our program and the support we can give you know financially and just with our time here tonight um and then the other part um and is is seeing our players interact and um with the ladies of know Rustin and North Louisiana people have chosen to come here and but I think that part of it is twofold so um I think the joy um and really the encouragement that our hearts can get to see the impact that wigging out has had um and then also to see our players interact the event is also for a great calls giving staff and players the chance to give back for the people that need it most with all proceeds going to wigg and out to support cancer patients the thing we talk about in our program in terms of one of our cornerstones is connection and and we really exemp we sum that up and our program is doing all right if if you want to be connected to someone you have to do um you can't just sit around on your phone you can't just um send text messages or emails you have to get out and you have to meet people you have to look people in the eye you have to shake their hands you have to be around people within this community and so doing all of these things the Women's Clinic um we want to show that we want to be an active member of this community um not only on the campus but also in the city and also in in North Louisiana that's why we go to sh port and practice we do all these things um because we we're about doing we love our fans we love connected with each other we little connecting with our community just bringing everybody together CU it's already a smaller town so talking to them you know laughing with them sharing a couple stores just doing things like that just to try to break it down not just be you know player and fan but also you know personal person football will be back before we know it and from the looks of it it seems like we may have a few women around town that may be Vine for a roster spot reporting from the Joe I'm Jeremy Bryant
