there's a reason Taylor Swift left her seat to go backstage at the VMAs and it wasn't just to make an outfit change Taylor missed over half of the VMAs ceremony and performances including Sabrina Carpenters at first Taylor took a 40-minute break and came back in a new outfit to be more comfortable Taylor left her seat once again to go backstage after Katy Perry's performance and didn't come back for almost 2 hours arriving again toward the end of the ceremony but what exactly was Taylor doing if you didn't notice there was a live cam at the VMAs that tracked Taylor Swift for the whole duration of the show there was a blind item suggesting that Taylor wasn't informed about the live cam beforehand which led her to go backstage for a drink because she preferred not to do it in front of a camera it makes sense because Taylor has been trying to dodge claims that she's an alcoholic after being seen drinking at past award shows
