strike affecting dozens of hotels across the country could grow today the union is threatening to add Hilton Hyatt and Marriott locations in more cities workers are demanding pay increases they're also asking for an end to pandemic era service Cuts like some hotels not automatically providing daily housekeeping they would like to be able to provide for their families and live in the same cities that they welcome guests to every day and it's really hard to uh be in this business and smile and greet the guest when in the back of your mind you're trying to figure out where your next um meal is going to come from the effective hotels are still open but some guests have complained about reduced services today was scheduled to be the last day of the strike
