Patti Scialfa, Longtime Member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, Reveals Cancer Diagnosis

Patty shiala shared in a recent documentary that she was diagnosed with multiple Myoma in 2018 leading her to cut back on touring with the E Street Band fronted by her husband Bruce Springstein calfa who joined the band in 1984 has been noticeably absent from most shows in recent years due to her health condition despite her limited involvement with the band she has released three solo albums over the years and is currently working on a new one the multiple Myoma diagnosis came during a residency in which she was featured on two songs calfa mentioned that she now carefully selects when and where to perform prioritize her health and spend time with her granddaughter she expressed contentment with her new normal of occasionally taking the stage to sing a few songs the documentary Road diary premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and will be available on Hulu and Disney plus starting October 25th
