And joining us here on the Factor Uncensored, a very special guest Chelsea Edwards, our favorite reporter here at Fox. And of course, you are starting your own show. Yes. Chatting with Chelsea. Yes, sir. How excited are you about that? I am so excited. So I'm moving from reporting and news to being able to do a daytime talk show. We're really getting into some of the topics I enjoyed sharing during our morning show. So things that are going to help you make your life easier. Juggle all the things you know when it comes to parenting, when it comes to handling the house, when it comes to relationships, we're covering it all. Bad kids, you know, running you while at home. I'm not going to say I have real life examples, but let's just say we got some inspiration for the show for their bad. Yes yes, for theirs, for theirs, not mine. So were you nervous taking on this project here at Fox 26? Yeah, I'll say yeah. A little bit of nervousness because this is I was super nervous. You were. You're nervous when you like. If this doesn't work, what are we gonna do? We're not going back to news. There was definitely some because this is a very new direction for me, and it's something I hadn't actually imagined. You know, back when we first met, I was fairly new reporter. I had only been in the field a couple of years, and before that I spent so much time behind the scenes. So now I'm in front of the camera and now I have my own talk show. So congratulations, congratulations. And one of the things I was concerned about going from an investigative journalist to giving my opinion, and you have to get past that. Yes, yes. Because, I mean, this is life, right? We get to share more of our opinions and our experiences. That's a big part of the show, too. Every opening, I'm sharing something about my life. So you are going to get more of my personality and how I feel about different things. And we got that on the morning show as well. That's how you now have this show, this is true, this is true, and we're called you're called the bestie, right? Yes. Houston's best daytime's new bestie Isaiah, your bestie, your bestie, your bestie, and of course your daytime. So tell us the time it will be on it will be on at 1230 right here. Fox 26 on August 26th. Also streaming on Fox Local and our Fox 26 app. And it's going to be a good time. I mean, it's bestie for a reason. Everybody will bring it in. We feel like besties. We're laughing, we're having a good time and also giving you those take aways to help smooth out your life. Any topics that you want to tackle? You want to make sure you address on the show. Obviously you know it's parenthood, it's life. Is there anything specific that you want to get on the show? Well, Isaiah, you know, I'm a single mom and we don't see a lot of representation when it comes to that. On TV. So you know, I want to dive into those topics really help help us juggle the things. I mean, I don't mean to be selfish, but some of these things are going to help me out too. And of course, help everybody else in their different situations. But I think really diving into what it means to be a single parent when it comes to dating and parenting. That's one of my passion projects. And of course, you're a Houstonian, so they must be proud of you here at home. Yes What's a family say? I am getting the calls and the emails. You know, the aunties email. So I'm getting those from the family really excited. They've been seeing the promotion and the articles that have gone up in the Chronicle and everybody's really excited. I feel like we are going to have quite the launch on Monday. Excellent Well, congratulations to you once again. And if you can tell us the time it will air here on Fox 26. Chatting with Chelsea airs 1230 right here on Fox 26. All right. Chelsea Edwards thank you. And congratulations. We appreciate you dropping
