Intro you just beat the 22-time grand slam champion on our biggest stage how does that feel i i i don't even know what to say right now um i'm beyond happy i'm almost in tears i can't believe it can't believe it he's definitely one of the greatest of all time i played unbelievable tennis today but yeah i really don't know what happened well something happened something special happened today we've seen it we've seen you here in the fourth round these last few years what have you been doing that's gotten you this much further and making you believe that you can take this title Mentally uh honestly i mean when i first came on the scene i felt like um you know a lot of people had a lot of expectations on me of how i would do and stuff like that i wasn't uh ready for it mentally i wasn't mature enough for those moments and these last couple years when when it hasn't you know the tension hasn't been on me i've been able to develop i have a great team behind me and i've been putting the head down i'm happy where i am in life in general and i'm able to just do me and do it my way and enjoy the game i love so with you guys it's been great speaking of these guys we know you love the big moments did you have to temper your emotions there did you have the belief all all the while that you knew you could come through this match Belief at 4 3 when i went up 40 love i i like my legs were like cement i could not i was like just get out of this game just get out of this game and pray to god you don't have to serve for it but um yeah i was lucky enough to get out of that game i played great tennis today um you know i came out not like not giving rob for all the respect i came out to win a tennis match in front of you guys [Music] i think everyone here appreciated watching it today and they're looking forward to next round you got andre rublev you had a great match with him last year have you even started thinking about that yet you got you got plenty of time to worry about that right i'm not thinking about my next match right now i'm just happy i gotta win today in Family front of in front of my family in front of my mom my dad uh franco my twin brother my girlfriend my team um to have to have them see what i did today means more to me than anything and um yeah and you know my favorite basketball player in the nba bradley bill was able to watch this that means a lot to me his wife um my boy casey being alex mclean so um yeah today's unbelievable day and i'm gonna soak this one in for sure absolutely enjoy it good luck francis you
