sport I was I was thinking the same thing as well they've definitely lived up to the expectations you know uh people probably weren't expecting great fights and action-packed fights but honestly they've done boxing training as a part of of their football training but nothing even remotely a sh ton so well done sh sha sh well everyone you know what to say to sh I remember my first handful of fights I had tunnel vision my first fight I couldn't hear my corner I couldn't hear anything everything around me was just numb and silent so and that was back at when I was doing about 8 months worth of training before I had my first fight it's head back to Rene thanks Andy thanks JY well it definitely was the Battle of two big Giants boys what did you make I think the first fight it was a tough one but it was a great one to what it was a great competitive fight you know they both stuck it out there but I think Gill just you know EDG with those long Jabs and those the boxing IQ and and just sto it towards the end but like I said it was a very good fight competitive fight yeah it was very good wasn't it and very difficult to split and that was reflected by the judges with a with that Split Decision there I probably did favor Campbell Gillard ever so slightly though yeah I think I was very much the same and I mean tough in front of a home crowd of JT as well too the concoction of the home fans they would have been around it but it was amazing to see as we said we see the development of these players first time they've ever fought Regan's obviously had a bit of a different sporting background but he come out on top as well too today and it's great to see that development yeah 100 say I'd love to know the mentality that go you know the difference between boxing and obviously on the field so definitely a question I'll be asking to see how mentally he prepared for for this fight well we're definitely going to be finding out that very soon he's making his way up he's not jumping up here like Nelson though weird I was expecting a little bit more how dare you stain Jonathan thon's name like that by copying his name the microphone they it's a b Campell Gillard training partner in junior um part of the whole whole reason of why I was doing this fight I needed a sort of a training partner to that he knows what he's doing and um yeah I felt some of the punches I I probably collected there tonight was the punches I was probably working on U for the last six weeks but [ __ ] J Jay's head mate like I hit him with everything and um his eyes was starting to go a little bit but like every time I was punching in the head he just found a way to sort of counter back and um yeah I probably got a little bit Fancy with
