good morning and welcome back to another video we're Cindy and Eddie and today we are at the US Open the reason we're here today is because this week the US Open is available for anybody who wants to come in and not pay a ticket but we are here to take a look at what is available for the free week the week before all the matches start we're just here for one day it's actually going to be I guess 7 days Monday to Sunday yes so we're here on the opening day of the free week we're going to what's going on here this is what you're going to see when you get here just so you're aware of the circumstances they do have a bag check area if you do bring a bag on a regular scheduled visit you'll have to check it we wanted to get here nice and early so we could check it out it looks like there's a lot of people coming in as well so we're going to find out what exactly we have to do to get inside so this is an actual Park you can come visit anytime it just happens to be right now is tennis which we're kind of excited about a couple rules to follow while you're here if you happen to be in the area checking out flushy Mato Corona Park on a regular day there sure is a lot of things to do for example they have practice courts you can come check out if they're out there practicing you might be able to see somebody famous or you can just check out the courts when they're not being used there's a whole park to explore they even have bike rentals you can get so you can explore it more quickly once you get here if they are not letting people in just yet there might be a little line it's about quarter till almost 20 till so they started letting people go through security first they haven't quite opened up the gates but they're getting ready looks like we're getting a little welcome [Music] committee hello hello not move do not move [Music] [Music] [Music] y [Music] we're going [Music] to that's our entrance today but there's so much more to say [Music] definitely production Happening Now America if you plan ahead like we did we have a fan access pass so we're going to go in and see what we can get for it we won a nice little cooling towel so we're going to keep that there are some perks it's not like we won uh Front Road tickets for next week's games or anything but that was still pretty cool we got a cooling tail and I think it looks great on Cindy if you ask me next we're going to use our all access pass to go into the Arthur Ash stadium in order to experience some practice sessions after this scan your coat we're going to go inside all seating levels so it looks like we're going to be able to go and watch some t as possibly and we're told that all seats are open so we're going to try and get something close to the courts let's see what we can get so far so good basically gives us access to courtside seats so we're going to head down to courtside seats and watch some of this even though they're practicing right now we're like literally Courtside wow naom is still practicing but there is still so much more to see so we're going to keep looking around just follow the sign to the grand stand let's see who else is practicing today players will come in this gate and they'll go over to here where they'll go into their practice areas here we have the practice courts and a little overhead view of everybody that's practicing right now couple things to note you just saw that they're putting up the qualifying rounds on a schedule right by the US Open Essentials however if you go online they also have that schedule available for you to check out they'll also give you a lot more information for example they have the food and beverages available the grounds map prohibited items and security and more information about Fen week there's also a lot more information about the US Open so we believe it would be worth your time to check out this website or the app for yourselves another benefit of the fan access pass is right now they're giving away Wilson Jr rackets for the kids and they have these out every once in a while to help cool us off and yes we're appreciating that when you get hungry they do have food in a couple areas like this one here or these food options over here which includes a a very large seating area they also have very good coffee available they have many other choices available like burgers chicken sandwiches Korean or Hill Country Barbecue fish spicy chicken ice cream some authentic Greek food a delicatess in pizza and of course let's not forget the lobster rolls and the options keep on going the kosher girl this also happens to be right next to courts 11 and 12 and then let's go over this way to see what else we can find more food options these are not open right now probably cuz it's fan week but I'm sure they're open during the US Open itself and it looks like we're going to go on here to see somebody practicing or warming up definitely something happening yes these fans really come in handy opportunities chance for the kids to play a little bit and they give you just a little bit information about what's going on here all along here we're finding that they have a lot of qualifying games so you want to see some people play without paying for anything a lot of these are up and cominging stars so it might be worth it they also have this entrance where along the way you'll be able to see a lot of history on these walls and of course a giant globe and there are a couple other places to get food as well right here by Arthur Ash in particular this one up here that's got this little silver wall they have an upstairs seating area even though it's not open yet they have plenty of other places you can go and get food or a beverage besides watching tennis there were other forms of entertainment going on not only for adults but for the kids as well like the following [Music] [Music] as you can see there's a lot of entertainment outside and it really does bring in the crows but don't just stick around outside go inside because there's more to be seen got a mural you can come in and color you've got different choices it seems to be popular with kids but these are high up so you know you've got some adults doing it too that is day one of our fan week right here at the US Open we are having a great time got to see some players didn't spend any money make sure you come here if you can we think you'll enjoy it too the next thing we're going to do is watch medev practice for a little bit which we really excited about because we really enjoy watching him
