Maya Joint Burns Through Qualifying Field To Partake in Main Draw at 2024 US Open

hi um congratulations today how excited are you to go on next week for your first Grand Slam thrill I don't know what to say I wasn't it yeah I don't know what to say this is crazy I bet um how cool is it that you're gonna enter your first Grand Slam back in America um which is your motherland I guess yeah I mean it's amazing I I love this tournament I I was here last year for the first time for juniors um and I just love the atmosphere in so it's amazing that I can be here as a professional I bet um oh um so I'm a High School tennis player and I know you're pretty young to go into your first Grand Slam um so do you know how long you've been playing for already um I started when I was in kindergarten wow um yeah I'm 18 now so I've been playing for a couple years wow um and lastly how are you going to celebrate and prepare this weekend um I don't know haven't really thought that far ahead I'm supposed to be in Texas right now moving myself in for college but um yeah I don't know I'll have a nice dinner and sleep in tomorrow sounds good congratulations and good luck
