so you just able to finish the preseason strong ran for a couple touchdowns you just how it feel out there today as far as just how you're running and your performance overall uh it felt great man today I felt like the whole offense had an attacking mindset including the o line I want to give a huge shout out to them boys just keeping them boys up front pushing but other than that man I feel like it was a solid day uh you know it's always stuff to build on and especially this doing this U you know back home in Houston you know what was that like for you uh it was amazing it was a great feeling uh I was able to you know get blessed with the ball with a couple touches and you know be able to put in the end zone for the uh Team uh obviously my mom and them was happy so you know it felt real good you know good homecoming yeah were they were they here today yes sir and and I guess just what's it like being able to play in front of family and friends like that uh it's a it's a blissful opportunity I mean sometimes I just got to sit back and just you know just be grateful for the opportunity I mean obviously Tuesday is coming up so let God handle that but you know uh like I said man I'm just blessed uh I love our culture just love the way we stuck together as a team today what uh different for you maybe this preseason compared to last year when obviously you were a rookie uh obviously I've improved but just staying humble and letting the game come to me uh trying not to force things you know and just following the game plan I mean fall back on your training that's one thing my coach always say so dresser just how it feel to be able to get obviously some extended run and and be able to show what you could do today yeah no doubt it felt good to get out there and uh get to play some ball again and um uh kind of slow starting some drives and uh that's part of it but uh I felt like once we got going We we played really well and we got the Run game going and a couple quick passes um got the ball moving and we looked good then but can't have as many slow drives so you mentioned the Run game what did you make especially of of Zack Evans performance and the way he was what he was able to give you guys in that phase yeah I thought he ran the ball hard and uh I kept asking that of him and uh he kept responding so proud of him and uh thankful for him and the way he ran the ball today uh thought he played well going back to some of those offensive drives just you know what did you make of them as far as you know whether they ended the points or ended differently yeah um I think you always want to end the end the drive with the ball in your hand whether it's uh putting it away scoring a touchdown um whatever it may be but at the same time on some of those third Downs you got to hit Quick Pass or quick game passes and uh to keep the drive going like I said when we when we kept the drive going we were fine but uh can't stall out in some of the drows so obviously obviously you've been with this team in the preseason before what was it like what's it been like you know being back again and just some of the opportunities you've had to just learn from obviously teammates in this coaching staff no I think it's a it's a blessing to be here um love this coaching staff and uh what they've done for me and um the opportunities they've given me and and the way they've taught me and um uh yeah thankful to be around here and um yeah just enjoyed my time here and uh would love to you know just keep it rolling playing all 16 minutes like that just how special is that oh it's it's awesome to get that opportunity um I think that uh it's a very valuable time um like I said I haven't had much run y'all know that but um to get that full game was uh was very valuable for me and uh um something I didn't take lightly very wanted to win that game right there but uh came out not in our favor and uh that's just how it Rose did you in that you're going to get all the whole game yes I uh found out a couple days ago that they told me that I was possibly going to be the starter and um once I found out for sure man I was excited ready to roll and uh wish we could have got the win but like I said that's how it goes
