Two of these guys are back in one of the most anticipated shows. Tell me lies. One of them is a new addition to the cast. And this season, I can just tell you it's full of everything you've wanted. I'm talking with Brandon Cook, Thomas Doherty and Spencer House. So Spencer will start with you. Catch Us Up where we are on Tell me lies season two since it's been a couple of years. Uh uh we're back at school. Uh And uh we, we left off um in kind of a dark place for everyone. Um And uh we're just seeing how that um that unfolds over the next uh school school year. Yeah. And uh the central characters, we have Grace Van Patten. Lucy Jackson White is Steven demarco and Thomas, your character is a new addition to this season. Uh We know you from descendants from all these great different movies and stuff, but now you're in the Tell me Lies Universe. What's that like being a part of this show? Yeah. It's amazing. It's really, really amazing, like getting to work with all these guys and work with Megan and an amazing team of writers. And with Hulu it's, it's, it's been really, really, really cool. Um, I read the script and I read some of the scenes and I, and I saw a lot of myself, my younger self and Leo, uh, so that was really cool to be able to be very cathartic at times as well to be able to kind of delve into this character. Um, but yeah, I know, it's, I mean, it's a hit U STV show. Everyone loves it. And yeah, it's really cool to be in, in season two. That's great to hear everyone's gonna love this season two. And Brandon, what I really love about this second season is the stories we still are focusing on Lucy and Steven. But these supporting characters, like all three of you guys are getting much more screen time, much more storyline and it's so great to see all of these characters you playing Evan and having an on again, off again relationship with Bree. What was it like being in this relationship where it's now front and center in a show? Yeah, it was great. It, it was, it was fun to be able to engage, uh, more deeply in, in those, in the relationship and uh explore, you know, uh the ins and outs and the falling outs and, and all of that. Um, and how that kind of move throughout the friend group. Uh But yeah, it was great. I had a great time. Good, great to hear that and Spencer, your character, they constantly say is always the jokester, always joking. Is that how you are in life as well or do you separate that from Wrigley? Yeah. Yeah, I think so. Yeah, that's what, yeah, that's your character style. And so Thomas tell us, obviously, uh, people are going to find out who Leo is in this show, but he has a kind of difficult past and we learned that throughout the episode, what was it like? Just learning who this character was and then applying it to the role? I mean, it was so well written, you know, it was already very fleshed out. And uh all I had to do was kind of come in and try and personalize some of the experiences and, and bring the character to life. And it was amazing working with Megan. She really was open to um collaborating in certain aspects of things and with the writers as well. And, you know, it was great and the majority of my scenes are with Grace. So she's an incredible actor. I said, if I, if I had to work with Grace for the rest of my career, I'd be, I'd be a happy man. You know, she's a wonderful person, an amazing actor and just been able to play with her. Um was great, that's great to hear these actors of this caliber and as well as Jackson White brand, and I'll ask this one to you, what's it, like sharing those scenes with him as one of his best friends on the show. Yeah, it's great. It's, uh, it's a great time. We all get along really well. And, uh, it's, it's been, it's been cool to, to form friendships with people over, over these past few years. Um, and it's nice when you actually get along in real life. So it makes the job a little easier. Uh, but, yeah, and a lot of those scenes were, you know, tough scenes uh or, you know, stressful and for Evan at least, and so his great seeing partner, great, great times outside of action and cut. Uh yeah, it was fun and this is some real life stuff that we're seeing. It's, well, it can be very binge worthy. It's very eye catching to the viewers. It's very important topics that we're getting this season, like college campuses and rape and just different uh power struggles amongst the different couples. Spencer. What, what do you want audiences to take away from something like this? Even though it's a fictional show? Uh the, how not to behave. Um I think, I think everyone in the show um is a, is a very uh very strong example of um you know, if you, if, if you watch what they do and, and you do the opposite, I think you'll be OK. That's very good piece of advice and we're uh coming up, it's premiering on Hulu, September 4th, but this season takes place in 2008 and we get a lot of the flash forwards each episode of 2015. So, is that something where we can expect? Are we gonna get a year each season or what, what do we need to expect as more? Tell me lies comes out. I'll get this one to Brandon. Uh, yeah, I think, I think this, this season it's a semester again and a, and a, um, and a little bit of a flash forward and I guess we'll have to see. It's up to the, uh, the genius mind of Megan Oppenheimer. Well, if it's up to me an Oppenheimer, I'm sure it's in, I know audiences love. Tell me lies. So let's just keep rolling them out and make sure you watch. Tell me lies on Hulu beginning September 4th. Thanks a lot, guys.
