[Music] what hey here we are we are ready for Thursday Night Football statisfaction here at East Coast grid iron thanks to the guys that uh NFL rush that were on right before us uh for getting off a little earlier I know they had a lot to talk about those guys are always well prepared and have a lot to talk about but we appreciate them uh rushing things there at the end so we can get on before the game and we have a very interesting game tonight yes I'm Don the stats Guru and this is Tony aka Chef Tony joining me tonight what's up what's up what's up and here we go again yes tell your friends this is the most unusual show that you'll find talking about Thursday Night Football it's all numbers it's stats it's numbers it's everything number related you don't catch that anywhere else so we got the uh Buffalo Bills playing the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock stadium very interesting capacity statistics for Hard Rock they list the seating capacity at 65,0 26 but the average attendance last year was 65 922 109% something's fishing 100.9 per. so something's not matching up there but sounds like they're pretty packed um for 2023 uh game time temperature should be about 83 degrees humidity 84% there was a chance of some uh rain about 25% at game time it was a little higher before that so might be a little bit of wetness down there chat let us know who you think's going to win this game and then more importantly let us know if something we gave you as far as information and numbers and stats has changed your mind because that's what happened to me I had had a team selective for tonight based on fantasy players I've had over the years team I really like but when I did the stacks for tonight I went the other way so very interesting here tonight um Tony yes give us the update on the injuries man man I will tell you they are still not official on who's playing and and who's not we have out for tonight for the bills uh Dewan Smoot with a toe injury right ton Johnson with a forearm and doubtful is defensive in Javon Solomon with an oblique injury but as you could tell uh if anybody's watching any kind of pregame stuff Josh Allen is out there warming up he will play tonight with a hand injury it's not his throwing hand this his opposite hand but also we have Raheem moard who is out with a chest injury and Malik Washington out with a quad injury but questionable still game time decision still don't have any update on this right Devon Anan with an ankle injury and Elijah Campbell with an Achilles injury we have no idea what's about to happen here wow yeah if you're down mostard and if aan doesn't play you're down to Jeff Wilson like last week and who that that makes it really interesting especially if you're talking a wet field and you want to run if it's raining if there's any kind of moisture on the field you want those guys on the on the field yeah it's all right how about some of the history for this matchup Tony history these two teams have faced off 116 times in their history the Dolphins are 6154 and one all time wow but at home for Miami at Hard Rock stadium or whatever they wanted to call it uh the Dolphins are 35 22 and one at home so that one tie happened at Hard Rock oh wow okay well let's go over a few uh stats here 20 I got 2022 2023 stats 2024 stats got a little bit of both here okay um 2023 bills were 11- six but on the road they were four- four Dolphins were 11- six as well and they were seven- two at home so one team better at home the other team not as good on the road from last year now these 2024 stats are from this year one game so they don't hold a lot of water here but it's still interesting to see how they're starting since team seems like to start fast the bills average offense yards per game right now they're 12th and their average points scored per game of course was 34 because they scored 34 points on offense for the Dolphins their average offensive yardage is six in the uh entire league but they only scored 20 points so that was interesting on defense bills right now are ranked 13th as far as defensive how many yards they've allowed and they did give up 28 points the first week now looking at the Dolphins they're ranked 11th just a little better but they only gave up 17 so the points aren't necessarily following the yardage which is quite interesting um looking at the next stat I I hope everybody's paying attention to these okay this this group of stats is very interesting this is a fiveyear summary on Thursday games we're talking just Thursday games the bills overall record on Thursdays over the last five years is 6 and0 as a road team they are [Music] 5-0 what wow on Thursday nights the Dolphins over the last five years are two and one and as a home team one in one all right let's switch this up a little bit and go with week two games once again in over the past five years the bills in week two are five and0 they are dropping a lot of undefeated here in these stats uh the Dolphins are two and three so interesting matchup Tonight normal guy yes Josh Allen 10 and two versus the Dolphins very telling stat absolutely absolutely absolutely man yeah what do you got next for us I got some position matchup numbers based on stats from last week yep so just take this with a grain of salt it's only based on last week and last week alone right um so for quarterbacks Josh Allen and two aung of vioa Big Time throws Josh Allen had one big time throw and Tua had four which obviously with the style of offense they run that makes a lot of sense yes drops Josh Allen didn't have anybody drop a pass by a receiver at all and Tua actually 14.8% of the time had a drop can't have that no absolutely not average time to throw average time to throw Josh Allen was 3. One n and two was 2.38 seconds to get that ball out of his hand wow that's that's quick Lightning Fast absolutely now running backs James Cook and Jeff Wilson Jr specifically elusive rating James Cook was 33.5% and Jeff Wilson was 144% that is insane yeah he had the most snap so that's why we had him in there on this stat longest run for each of them James Cook had a 15 yard run Jeff Wilson had a 14 yard run right but the yards per yards per carry yeah 3.7 yards for James Cook and 5.2 yards for Jeff Wilson Jr now to the receivers Keon Coleman the rookie Keon Coleman and Tyreek Hill Keon's longest reception last week um 28 yards really good for a rook not bad for a rookie but it's kind of hard to match up with Tyreek Hill who had a 80 yard J did yeah there you go facts exactly 80 yards reti Hill yards per reception 12.8 yards per per per re reception and Tyreek had 18.6 yards per reception y now average depth of Target Keon was 9.4 yards right and Tyreek was 11.6 okay now we don't have any stats on tight ends no it it really wasn't comparable it really wasn't worth putting up nobody's using dolphin's never used a tight end exactly what's the tight end position that's so foreign we're gonna talk a little bit about more more about dolphins tight end here in a little bit but yeah that's very far um taking a look at the uh fantasy matchup for tonight um it's kind of interesting Josh Allen now this is from nfl.com fantasy so your your numbers might be slightly different depending on what fantasy you use tried to go kind of official with that uh Josh Allen's rated uh quarterback one he's projected for 2.07 points James Cook running back 23 13.39 khil Shakir is wide receiver 24 9.74 points Dalton concade tight end 38 but they are projecting 10.9 Tyler bass is kicker number 10 they're projecting 9.15 the other receiver Keon Coleman we talked about earlier wide receiver 48 projecting 9.65 so higher than khil shakure even though khil is ranked 24 and Keon 40 eight Bill's defense Defense number 14 and they are projected to score 5.85 so total if they're right on point at 80.7 five for just that Bills team with the starters uh not necessarily any Flex players or anything like that moving over to the Dolphins you got Tua at quarterback four 16.91% H hay is active tonight nice thank you I still think it'll be I still think it'll be limited but he is active good to know uh Janu Smith 4.75 kicker Jason Sanders he's kicker 14 8.74 Jaylen Wadd nice having a a nice second receiver wide receiver 16 he at 13.6 and Miami's defense they're projected as number 13 and 5.68 so they project almost exactly Five Points higher in fantasy points yeah mostard out moer is officially out now for some of the interesting numbers if you are thinking of putting a little Mone on this game these are some things that you may want to consider East Coast grid iron Don and Tony are not recommending any bets whatsoever we are not recommending based on some of the things you will hear in this section that you bet on the things we talk about we also if you are betting please bet responsibly dolphins are two and a half Point favorites over under was set at 5050 on that spread of two and a half points 79% of the bets of the actual number of bets are on the bills plus two and a half but the money the amount of money 82% is on the Dolphins minus 2.5 what that is crazy uh even up on the money line no point spread 69% of the bets 64% of the money all on the Dolphins we got some trends for each of the team here Buffalo is 11- one straight up in their last 12 games versus Miami wow 11 and won straight up in their last 12 games versus Miami that is insane the over has hit in five of Buffalo's last six games now let's move over to Miami Miami is 8-2 against the spread so that's using that that point spread in their last 10 games versus an AFC East team so they do pretty good with the spread one way or the other against their own division they are also nine and two straight up no points in their last 11 games at home they do play better at home Tony you got some examples of what could happen here if you bet some of the props that are out there and I don't know these could be the ones that Sora was thinking of playing I'm not sure well okay let's start I'm gonna start with the bills okay so if you want to put $20 on Keon Coleman receiving getting 70 or more receiving yards you can make $75 remember $20 to make 75 if you want to put $20 on concade having two or more touchdowns which stretch $20 would make $30 right there yep and if and if the dolphin if you want to put $20 on the bills scoring a rushing touchdown on their first drive you would make $170 so Jeff I know you're in the comments think about it now for the Dolphins if you put $20 on oh my we smok at that tight end pack boys hey buddy let's go uh if you want to put $20 on two aonga Vio at a pass with 325 yards this week you 20 would get you 80 yep do you want to put $20 on Jaylen waddle having two touchdowns you would get $220 yep now if you want to put $20 on Miami having a field goal attempt not a not a make it just an attempt just an attempt on the first drive you would win 88 bucks that is a safer bet than thinking about the bills scoring a rushing touchdown on the first drive which that is insane to me yeah well those are je really think about those numbers Sora good luck good luck with your bets there um I'm cooked I'm so cooked yeah well Dante wasn't too happy with the ones we had up for him last week so that's understandable if you are actually going to the game tonight this is what you could expect on average these are the prices like them or not the total cost for a family of four to attend a game at Hard Rock stadium four of the cheapest tickets lot parking two 16 o beers two 20 o sodas and four hot dogs get that credit card out it's $923 48 that is that is the 11th highest in the NFL this season they didn't even crack the top 10 all right let's break that down a little bit each each piece the ticket price is only the cost $834 198 that is the six highest just for the tickets the parking the lot parking $25 that's 27th they don't charge not not bad at all they don't charge much for parking can't say what condition your car will be in but they don't charge that much for barking the 16 ounce beer I know this hit I can confirm I want to just cut in I went to a Miami preseason game I'm pretty sure somebody's car caught on fire they were grilling nice nice uh 16 ounce beer this hits home for a lot of people one beer 12 bucks and that is that is 10th highest in the league oh God but they make up for it if you get a soda the soda 20 ounce soda one of them's 525 once again 27th ranked and then they come back to the middle of the road with one hot dog yes that one Stadium dog 725 15 highest Chef Tony do you have some Stadium food items fors can I be honest with you this was the hardest this is the hardest Stadium to find any kind of food info about again can confirm there's nothing there like you can find all the restaurants inside all of them in including Bennie Hana inside of there but there is no food like listed like they have all these restaurants these cool little like ideas schula's Burger doing classic burgers in different sections around the stadium uh Jackson's soul food it's literally Caribbean soul food inside the stadium or Obi house they do breakfast they do potatoes they do all this awesome food but Miami Dolphins organization or whoever runs the Hard Rock stadium website can you give us some info on the on the prices of some of your foods I want to know what you're what you're gonna get inside at least give descriptions of what food is make it sound tempting we have chicken fingers we have pizza we have hot dogs you know it's kind of like really oh Perry Wings Plus or ice cream Heaven these just catchy names that you would see at like an international NFL event that's all this is like just wait for if we ever get a Germany game this is gonna be insane but I H I literally have nothing like no Foods that's fine and like what's crazy too is what's crazy too is if you look at the concessions it's all by different level so it's you've got this these restaurants on level 100 these on 200 these on 300 one of them on 200 is just sloppy joe that's it I saw that it's just sloppy Joe it's a grill oh yeah what oh and also 203 and 231 is a mobile pickup dear God I know that's what I'm saying come on you gotta do better the other sites really tell you about their food really make it worthwhile at least to attempt to bring you to their venue to try out this item like I bet I could find more about the Dallas Cowboys Foods than I could about this I know I know it's crazy it's crazy all right well it's time to come up with our predictions who's going to win and maybe just throw in a bold prediction Tony you want to kick it off yeah I I my bold prediction is start this off I think hen Devon hen with him being listed as active will get two touchdowns now I didn't say rushing or passing I or receiving right I said two touchdowns in this game and I do believe the Dolphins in the throwback uniforms tonight will beat the Buffalo Bills 28 to 25 wow okay bold prediction from me is going to be a receiving touchdown on each team by yes a tight end oh my God tight end we smoke in that tight end pack boys now I'm telling you what I told you at the beginning of the show I have had nothing but but Miami Dolphins on my rosters in fantasy football okay I I know the players well I've watched how they match up with other teams I was like this is a no-brainer win for the Dolphins I read some of the trends but when I got to bills over the last five years six and0 on Thursday and five and0 on the road on Thursday and the Dolphins are only two- one and one in one at home and then when I got to week two where the bills are undefeated the past five years in week two and the Dolphins are two and three I went with the bills I changed my mind I went with the bills not something I wanted to do but that's how it worked out I do think it'll be a close game Tony like you mentioned I think it'll be you know three to four points I haven't decided on a score but it'll be a close game I agree probably in the 20s don't know if it'll hit the over yeah I mean both of both of these teams see you Buffalo especially seems to be going over I think it's going to depend on field conditions and what kind of running game Miami actually has because I know he's playing he's still injured but playing but I don't know if that's enough to get that running game going to make it not onedimensional all right well I hope you enjoyed our stats tonight also these are everybody's predictions for tonight Dante and Don both saying the Buffalo Bills while khil Sora and myself do say the Miami Dolphins so the ECG pick is also the Miami Dolphins we got some more stats in the chat bills run the cover two Zone in a 425 over 80% of the time depending on the game they could be vulnerable to the Dolphins two strong outside receivers on the double moves absolutely they could be 100% you want to take the next one uh Dolphins run a cover three 35% of the time this is an opportunity for the new look bills offense which uses more short routes this year yeah yeah very very true yeah and also they've simplified their multi-option route tree as well as uh and seem to be uh executing better because it of it in Buffalo they they do look better out there on the field they kind of did have to change their the way they played on offense especially with the some of the people leaving yep well we uh we definitely want to see the tight ends use more on both teams especially Buffalo
