hi it's Mitch from piic dogs.com here with the free pick in the Angels versus Mariners Major League Baseball matchup on Sunday September 1st 2024 if you like all the free picks we do at pic dogs you'll love our premium picks our Best Bets you just go to piic dogs.com click on the premium Pi tab I've also got a link directly below this video in the description of course um if you make bigger bets like a thousand or more per game looking to bet like a pro we offer those Services well it's called our VIP for that you just got to text the number you see on the screen but this is meant for big betters and long-term plans our regular premium we have daily packages all the way up to yearly packages I bet mine every day something for everyone while the VIP strictly long-term plans for big betters but let's get to this one it's the Angels taking on the Mariners the Angels the worst record in the well second worst record in the American League they got to be thankful that the White Sox are so bad meanwhile the Mariners super disappointing season and while they you know kind of in the mix there in the National League Wild Card five games back and when you look at the um American League West standings four games back it really isn't going to help them much because I believe that they are done and uh really one of the more disappointing things that have happened they had a double digit lead over 10 games over in the American League West at one point this season they let that all slip away and I think you know basically what happened is you know the bats went silent they didn't do anything and lost a lot of winnable games and we talked about it at the time on our live shows we talked about it in the videos those will come back to bite you because the Houston Astros aren't just going to pack it in and go away and they certainly didn't meanwhile for this particular game you know the the Mariners with this fantastic young pitching staff which is how their manager got fired um go with Bryce Miller he's had a nice season certainly um you know not the top of the Mariners rotation but has pitched like it a lot recently you know earlier this season he strug but a 3.23 erra for the year 150 and 2/3 Innings pitch he struck out 143 batters over his last three starts a 1.50 erra and it's like when you have pitchers that pitch like that and still can't get wins because of the way that the rest of the staff is pitched and the way that the team is hit that is the problem and that's how your manager gets fired Kaden Dana gets the ball here for the uh for the Angels you know haven't really seen a bunch of this guy and uh coming uh from double A Rocket City um he's one of their top prospects but he's never pitched above the double a level I think he's going to probably be better than what we've seen for most of the stuff here from the Angels because you know their their pitching staff just really hasn't been very good and we haven't seen a guy in the mount for them since Otani left that really can dominate out there I think you know it'll be nice to see you know and this is kind of the nice thing about this part of the Season where you see the call-ups happening but the Angels just 8 and 28 in their last eight overall but the maner is two and two and N in their last 11 on the road you know we look at the way these teams hit righties the Angels just 185 versus righties the Mariners 232 versus lefties over their last 10 but the Angels the Mariners Bullpen has been a little bit better than the angels I don't love this game but I'll take the Mariners I don't like the price you could probably talk me on to the angels if you have some pretty good comments in there but that's going to be my free pick of course while you're doing your picks putting your bets in use our free betting tools at sportschatplace.com 100% free and they'll help put you on the most favorable bets on the board today
