Texas Longhorn Quinn Ewers featured on the cover of EA Sports College Football 25 video game

The Texas Longhorns football team will kick off the season tomorrow. Let's check in with Rob Evans with more on the excitement about this year's team. Let's talk about who's on the roster and who's someone to look out for, Rob? Oh, my goodness. This is just being out here DK our memorial stadium, 100,000 seat capacity, the seventh largest stadium in the entire country. One of, I believe the top 10 or 15 in the entire world. Y'all don't even know how nice you got it. Being here. If you get a chance to come out tomorrow, 230 against Colorado State, please come on out here. There are some tickets on resale sites uh still available, but all right, I digress. Everybody's excited. Obviously, I'm excited. The fans are excited. The players are excited. Video game players are excited because E A sports brought back NC A football. It's been years since they had NC A football. It's in the game, right? E A sports? Well, I'm gonna tell you what, not only did they bring back the game, it is already the best selling video game of the year and look who's on the cover that was Quinn Ewers, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers on the cover. E A offered an ninil deal name image like this deal with players opt into the game. They got 600 bucks if they wanted to and they got a copy of the game and of course you want to, right, you want to show your kids yours agreed. He got to play the game and play himself and he said, you know what? No, no, no, no, no, I'm better in real life. Listen, you know the throws that I know that I can make. It's like some of them are being made. So it's a little frustrating. But uh no, I mean, it's, it's a really fun game. Um I was playing against O EU last night actually. How'd that go? Just about as good as it could. That guy's life has got to be as good as it could be, right? I mean, come on. That's just amazing. Congrats to all the players who made it to the video game. That's just a, a dream, a fever dream. As a kid. E A sports announced they already sold 2.2 million copies of NC A football 25 before the worldwide release. It ain't been released worldwide yet and they've already sold millions of copies. Everybody. Like I said, Yvonne is excited 2.2 million copies only in the US. That is just sick. That's incredible. Just like the atmosphere is gonna be here 230 tomorrow, Colorado State. Last time I checked the line was Texas favored by, I believe 33 points might not be a nail biter, but a, it's football baby and Texas is in the SEC where it belongs.
