hotheaded you know that's what that's what got us real tight we was kind of roasting one day and he got real hotheaded but then when we played against each other uh we start to get better in the game he's he's the reason why I'm so confident and the way I play the game and the way I'm adjusting and learning how to play this game here he's going to be managing and and pushing everything for the coach smooth Network here for our uh our NCAA League coming up here in 2 weeks we'll be starting to uh open it up and uh letting people jump in and we have three different leagues and three different sectors but he's going to be playing his own League game tonight he has a national championship game we'll be featuring that and I'll be commentating that with another one of our partners here after about the season before we get into this um let's start on the offensive side this is something that's highly anticipated coach Al we kind of talked about it earlier on the show this morning um what is your game plan and your mindset coming into this game with um portraying the offensive mind of Nick sharen um and and what you want to kind of portray to the to the viewing audience here on the coach smot network yeah I just want to go into the game and play like we practice yeah we've been doing a lot of volume in practice we gonna do a lot of volume in this game but main thing is to execute uh can we executed that volume that we've been seeing in practice because I know how practices have been going you know been pushing these guys trying to get a lot of reps a lot of reps a lot of reps but can we execute the Reps against realiz bullets that's what I want to see okay first game care to rock you know I'm right there with you I'm right there with you coach Al a real strategic game plan you don't want to come in this game and and and muscle everything you want to you want to scheme up every you want to you want to scheme up things you want to see how discipline your offense is especially the offense could be uh can we can we can we pull out a four actual four-minute drive without taking an over top can we can we really grind out a drive and let our offensive line impose their will on their on their front whatever they load the box with whether it's five six or seven can we allow our offensive line to manipulate what's going on in the TR so I like your mindset coming into this coach right coach and the Green Dot we got the Green Dot too oh yeah we got green dots tonight y'all we got green dots I just hope y'all know I hope y'all ready the communication should be on point uh Green Dots should be especially helpful on the defensive side coach Z coming in this is our uh first first game coordination with both of these coordinators their first time coordinating this live game simulation with Coach smoo uh Co stepping into this defensive coordinator role knowing you know we talked about you doing your research on Kane wck I think this is something that you as a fan and with your knowledge of football how you like to call the game of football when you pick your teams on this game Kane W sty of play calling is something that you are looking forward to uh replica what are you plan on doing tonight with this defense uh will be coming out in a three four multiple playbooks so um that kind of gives you a good feel of what type of pressures um you're eager to run tonight yeah definitely like to get our defensive line started hot and early um making TJ Finley really uh think before he throws the ball we got a really young secondary um really excited to see um a couple of our guys shine really excited for deanii Jackson tonight um I think he could be real big for this defense going forward throughout the year and then we got a really good linebacker core we got Deontay Lai coming back I think he's going to fill um that linebacker role that we've been excellent in you know throughout the past couple years um with Bama and then uh Russa um one one of the most explosive uh linebackers coming out I'm really excited to see him kind of get to the quarterback explode um through that run game um don't really see them run the ball on us effectively um biggest thing is you know in the past recent years can our cornerbacks do what they can what do what they can do and I really think uh they'll do what we expect them to do tonight and continue All pressure on them we want to really contain them keep them in the pocket we know he's a size quarterback a big quarterback that can create some problems if you let him extend the play so what I would like to get from my defensive coordinator we want to be we want to be aggressive in our pressures I I want to put our corners and our our back and I want to put them in early situation to see how we cover in in too high and and zero coverages so so Coach Co I know you're prepared to do things like that we look at the wide receiver room that they have they got some guys with some speed but we have some very fast guys in the secondary something that we didn't have the luxury of um last year in the secondary would you agree coach coach z i I definitely agree I think we got a a group of guys that can match with really any wide receiver group in the country so okay and that's that's that's that's a tale of of Coach Colin hitchler and Coach mool link was during their their development over this summer but even with the the strength and conditioning program um displaying you know the fact we have 41 guys y'all 41 guys Personnel on this Alabama uh roster that run um you know 20 mil per hour or faster so yeah at chat I'm I'm I'm definitely here for y'all man I'm going to be trying to pay attention to the chat but y got got understand we got this thing set up so cool hopefully y'all like the worried about their tight ends this group um I surprisingly after doing some scouting Western Kentucky is a a pretty balanced air rate offense meaning they will rely on the Run game um and and I don't think they're confident in their front versus our front so we might see more run game than than we we're used to and in that inails having those six guys in that tight end um you look at the ratings on these tight end some pretty solid guys defensively our offensive line needs to hold up coach coach Al what is our plan offensively you said we want to we want to try to get the ground game established of course um but but with with this this defensive line do you see us trying to um you know roll roll the roll the pocket move the pocket a little bit um what what do you have planned for us tonight here yeah we're going to definitely uh get Mir on the edge son that's going to stress anytime you get mirro on the edge that c the defense to stress because they got to make a choice they got to come and play him or they got to play coverage they play coverage he takes off so we'll mix it up we'll get some misdirection the definite QB runs with some misdirection and some Powers with that uh we're going to go outside Zone okay and looking at the Personnel they have in their secondary starting with the corners they got some Speedy guys you know overall speeds of 91 90 84 92 for their top four guys acceleration is up there their uh change of direction is there um what is where's they uh their their uh what is it I was looking for their awareness rating I didn't see it okay here we go their man coverage ratings some some some pretty weak man coverage ratings um and as expected coach Al we said they would play a lot of Zone over top um you see their Zone coverage ratings they only have one solid corner so if I'm thinking like you I feel a lot of flood Concepts come in sending sending a lot of floods at the strong the the iso side corner um putting them in a lot of conflict with that over the top safety let's look at the safety while we're at it same thing not not very not very very athletic with speed and acceleration but awareness and Zone and Men is not up to a part to be able to hang with the likes of what we have Personnel wise if you ask me so all right chat go ahead coach I I can definitely see uh putting uh jeram and and Ty on the same side oh yeah you know them nut so you know cuz you know who do you take away yeah yeah and I'm just checking the lineup y'all making sure our lineup is correct and I'm going based off of my reports I know some of y'all are so excited about Ryan Williams he is the fifth guy in rotation but wait till you see how this plays out as far as what he brings to the table and how uh this rotation looks with this staff man um as a matter of fact Z I'm actually going to probably go to those settings now and um definitely got to get my boy wien out here at right tackle and I think we're good after that right in yeah we're good there let me go let me do this here I want to I want to mix it up with our Personnel for this other side coach coose I want to put Otis there and I want to bring leam here behind Overton Deshawn Jones walks out this Saturday as the starter as with first SS with first team at the cornerback position coach z um I definitely think he's earned it I definitely like to see him in in some of those uh formations start early um but you know if he's not doing what he needs to do we do have the guys that can come and replace him so I definitely do think uh he needs to be one of our our top two three guys okay I I agree I don't I don't honestly I'm going to tell you like this I think this staff and coach MO is confident in in in this freshman Corner group this Jaylen andak Z miny and zaven brown I'm going to override coach I'm going start xaven Brown I'm going start zaven Brown we going to let him jog out there for those first two series and and we're going to see how it goes if he's not able to get in this pressure uh match coverage this this zero look on the perimeter on the uh boundary we're going to have to replace him Coach we we'll do it early we we'll allow him to get
