early on. We haven't even had this Thursday Friday combinatio. I'm already excited about it, but we got more week one football coming up, including the Texans, Colts, Jags, Dolphins, Rams, Lions and then the Jets. 49 ers wrapping things up Monday 8:15 p.m. eastern on ESPN. What's your favorite fantasy matchup this week Mike I am a big fan of the Jaguars taking on the Dolphins because look in fantasy land we want points. And this game is going to have a bunch of them. And the player I'm going to keep a closest eye on is Devon A-chan. Look for the last couple of months on Fantasy Twitter Wars have been waged over Devon Chan. You either think he is the best running back walking the planet, or he is going to regress from last season. I just want answers now and we are finally going to get them. How is he going to be used? How are they going to give him touches near the goal line? All of that. I'm excited for all the points and everything, but even bigger than that, I have a lot of Mostert, I have some Chan. I'm excited just to get answers on this backfield. I am very interested in the Cardinals and the bills, which I'm surprised that Florio didn't jump in on that one in the homework, and I'm really keeping an eye on James Cook because we're still trying to figure some things out, especially in this Buffalo passing game. Stefon Diggs is gone Gabe Davis is gone Dalton Kincaid looks like the number one target. But there's no reason that James Cook can't be the number two target in the passing game. Facing an Arizona defense that yes I'm sure they've made some changes. But last year they gave up eight receiving touchdowns to the running back position. They had the worst run defense in the league. I expect this is going to be a back and forth up and down game with a lot of points. And I think you're going to see the ball in James Cook's hands quite a bit. Yeah, I love the score fest potential going on between the bills and the Cardinals. I don't necessarily think we're going to have a score fest between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Las Vegas Raiders, but I do think Davante Adams will get a lot of opportunity. He had 25 targets against the Chargers last season. He had a 33% target share on the team. That was the highest in the NFL in the last five years. Davante sees a lot of action, I think despite how sluggish the Chargers offense may be. I think they're going to burn a lot of clock. The opportunities will be there for Davante no matter what, but let's talk about opportunities to stack players and get double the points. Sometimes it feels like double because it's happening on your team, so it works out. Favorite week one fantasy stack. Marcas I'm going to go with the Dolphins stack of Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill because why not especially early last season they were maybe the best stack going when we were talking about Tyreek Hill on track for 2000 receiving yards I know he has said he thinks Jaylen Waddle is going to be the leader in terms of the passing game in this team, and that he's going to get a whole lot of opportunity. Don't sell yourself short. Ten you're still able to get behind defenses. You're going to get open. You're going to get the ball a lot. Two is going to sling it early in the season, in a game that could be maybe a little more high scoring than anticipated against the Jacksonville Jaguars. I think the Dolphins QB and wide receiver one are going to get it done. Yeah, I love that. I'm going with a similar one. A cheaper quarterback but a high end wide receiver. Jared Goff and Amon-ra Saint Brown one. The game is at home. It's indoors. And over the last two years, Goff has averaged over 20 fantasy points per game when playing indoors. The Rams last year allowed the fourth most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. They allowed a ton of production to wide receivers, and when these two teams played in the playoffs, when it matters most, Amon-ra Saint Brown had seven catches for 110 yards. He is fully healthy. He is always angry. I expect him to go off and I think this is a very high scoring game between these two teams, so I want all the Lions I could get. I love both of y'all's stacks so much. I was gazing longingly at them in the homework document and say, who's a good quarterback and wide receiver pair? It's Dak and CeeDee lamb. Yes, they are playing against the Cleveland Browns. But I do want to go back because I was looking for a reason to justify this for myself. And that's week two. Last season the Jets had a very good defense. That goes in early in the year, 31 of 38 and two scores. KD went off as well. I have no problem running these two out as I will not for the entire 2024 season. So let's go to a matchup. We think might be a touch risky. Mike in week one Aaron Rodgers. Look I don't do this a lot. I want to be on like everyone is going to be doubting Aaron Rodgers. He is a four time MVP. He he won a super Bowl. He invented the discount double check. His head coach says he is fueled by doubt. He gets to return on Monday Night Football against a team that he has a personal vendetta against his entire career. You're going to doubt him on Monday Night Football after what happened last year because I am like, I don't see how you trust Aaron Rodgers, 40 years old, the only quarterback starting week one, coming off a torn Achilles in the last 20 years, one quarterback has come back from this injury successfully in the last 40 years. This pass rush, all of that. There's no way I could trust Aaron Rodgers or really any jet not named Breece Hall or Garrett Wilson this week in Fantasy, except for maybe a sleeper that I'll talk later on the show, but I'm not trusting Aaron Rodgers. Okay All right. We got that was well done. Oh Mike. We didn't get him like a towel with some water to cool him off a little bit after that, you know what, Patrick? You might want to put on your earmuffs. Oh, no, because I have concerns about Dak Prescott this week against the Cleveland Browns. I mean that defense is ferocious. Yes you're right. That last year against the Jets he went out and had a very good game. And look it's not to say that it's impossible this week. But that Browns defense was one of the toughest matchups for quarterbacks last year 23 touchdown passes allowed with 18 interceptions. They gave up fewer than 250 passing yards 14 times last year. And look, let's just be honest, if there's such a thing as a real life Avenger, it's Myles Garrett. He's going to terrorize that cowboy offensive line. So for Dak it's going to be about getting it out quickly. Getting it to CeeDee lamb and maybe Jake Ferguson as much as possible. So like it's not impossible. He has a good game. I just have concerns. I just want to go out and sign Zeke to pass protect, because I don't know how much they're going to handle the ball. I look, I agree it can be risky, but it's just it's one of those stacks that I'm going to like the whole season. But I do agree with Michael F Florio. The 49 ers defense in terms of pressure percentage has been top ten. They were last year. And I'm looking over at Garrett Wilson I love Garrett Wilson this season I love that he's got Aaron Rodgers back I don't know how I feel about it in week one. Look you drafted Garrett Wilson. You're going to start him. But I will say if you look at the matchups and the talent on your team, perhaps consider, hey, let's let's let's see l
