during tonight's presidential debate former president Donald Trump claimed the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Waltz believes it's okay to execute infants after birth Minnesota Governor Tim Walls the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee has not said it's okay in 2023 Walt signed up uh into law a bill that included an update to Minnesota state law regarding medical care for infants born alive as a result of an abortion according to the Minnesota Star Tribune the updated State Statute requires all reasonable measures consistent with good Medical Practice shall be taken by the responsible medical personnel to care for the infant who was born alive the law says that an infant born alive is fully recognized as a human person and accorded immediate protection under the law although Tim Waltz has not said he supports abortion in the N month the ninth month the pro uh the protect reproductive options act signed by Waltz in January 2023 does not mention anything related to restricting abortion after fetal viability or any timeline for that matter it is not legal in any state to execute an infant after birth uh I think every single thing I do from the moment that I click the start streaming button till the moment that I click the stop streaming button over the course of the eight hours should probably prove to you how difficult it is to look at the barrage of lies that Republicans present on a regular [ __ ] basis and sometimes Democrats do and definitely mainstream media as well uh how difficult it is to actually correct the record with truth I spend hours and hours and hours parsing through data showing you talking points but also backing that up with empirical evidence on a regular [ __ ] basis and there are still people that go ah I don't believe you and it's that simple it doesn't take a massive leap of faith to to believe a lie that you are already primed to believe it however takes a Herculean effort to correct that lie in your mind it requires you to literally piece by piece remove certain Shields that you have inside of your [ __ ] brain against said uh against this this new information that's why charitability is so important that's why I regularly talk about uh how much I respect people who are charitable to me the reason for why and that's why it's so shitty that like for years and years now it's been like three [ __ ] years four years almost that like right-wingers and liberals themselves who have launched attacks against my credibility regularly have picked away at that charitability from a larger demographic of people tuning in okay that's what's very frustrating about this process because if you have no charitability you will not listen to the facts that I'm presenting guys stop asking me when Felix is coming I don't know why do so many billionaires vote for the party that claims they will tax them are these billionaires dumb or are we being played no the Democratic party never actually taxes billionaires either that's why they don't give a [ __ ] or some billionaires probably make that calculation and they're like yeah honestly I still think that like certain amenities uh for for marginalized populations at least in principle is a good thing but ultimately if you think like more billionaires are voting for the Democratic party rather than the Republican Party well you're wrong stop linking me the Joseph Gordon Le they're eating the dogs Trump versus Harris clip please one easy way to look at the debate is just whether it's fundamentally about Harris or whether it's fundamentally about Trump if after the debate we're talking about Harris's flip-flops on the issues or whether she's too far on the left or her handling of immigration she's in trouble she's not going to win the election on any of those issues the most she can do is be able to move past them to be able to sort of satisfy these concerns enough to focus on Trump this is what Nate con said before the debate if we're talking instead about Donald Trump's conduct on January 6 his views on abortion project 2025 we're talking about his behavior like was the case after the first presidential debate in 2020 that's a sign that not only did Harris sort of satisfy these concerns that we've been talking about was she allowed the election to Pivot towards Trump in the end Harris needs this election to be about Donald Trump for her to win she has to be able to satisfy those concerns about her and turn the election back on him I don't fully agree with n i don't agree with n Con on this and I think that this is nearsighted and I think that uh there is more that she needs to do Beyond this okay because in 2020 the election was about Trump and Joe Biden successfully mounted that case but the reason why he was able to do so was because Trump was president and Co was killing people okay people were angry police brutality was top of Mind Trump's insane immigration policies were of top of mind okay it's been four years since then people have short uh people have very short memories therefore making this election just about Donald Trump is going to cause it to be Incredibly Close which it is
