K Brayden Narveson just be smooth like I knew I had the I knew I had the leg I knew I had the distance just be smooth trust it and and uh and you know just go make it that's about it what's kind of been your mentality in Camp like they've had Nick F who was great last year and you come in here to do what you do how do you approach things every day I'm just trying to get better um and Nick is really really instrumental in helping me he's one of the greatest of all time to do it um and so it's really fun to learn from somebody like that but at the end of the day compete as well and so um you know it it feels good I I'm I'm kind of speechless a little bit so sorry but no that's all right you yeah no doubt no doubt how cool is that undrafted rookie come here you bang home yeah I mean that's that's my job you know fortunately or unfortunately is to be perfect out there and uh and that's what I'm trying to do every day so just trying to be my best thank you very much appreciate it cuz it was it OL Andrew Rupcich was too many mistakes like that that uh affect our quarterback a lot and we got to help him as much as we can in a game that coach says from the GetGo we want all of our backups to play we want them to get as much experience as they can kind of what's the mentality for you when you go out in that type situation oh for me um I I'm an undrafted guy treat every day like I got a grind and Claw to be here because that's what I have to do I'm always been I've always been a fringe guy um so I'm going to grind every day in and day in and day out to be here so just got to prove it to him sure all right so there's one more week left in the pre-seasons one more week how do you I was asking David this how do you approach the last week without kind of too much getting in your head like this is my last shot you know um I don't ever think of it like that I don't like to look too far in the future in that aspect I uh I I control what I control I uh I'm we always say be where our feet are so that's what I try to do I try to approach every day like it's my last and try as hard as I can every single day and uh however the chips roll out that's how they roll um so I just I'll be happy to be here I love here and I just want to um keep contributing for this team I know you're doing what you're doing when you see Guy bang 59 y out what do you think hey that's that's amazing it's he's a rookie came out there he didn't let the nerves get to him he hit that 59 Y and then he hit the long the long one to end it too so that's great for him I'm proud of him OLB Jaylen Harrell you know uh I knew coming into this game I'd be better rushing I a really like how I rushed uh last game I feel like I was too too timid you know the first game Jitter so all right I made a point to myself all week you know I'm going come out I bring the same energy I've been bringing in practice so where that's focus on my line my angles and whatnot so I really just made a conscious like effort you know what I'm saying soon as I get out there that first play I'm running through something feel me so I'm just going to get it cracking so I'm just glad you know we got the win and uh like I said I got a lot of stuff to still work on sure we we've seen you every practice we've seen you you know make make some strides kind of get out there when when do you think it kind of clicked like all right I'm I'm getting a little more comfortable now with everything and I feel like here's the impact I can make know uh started clicking in practice really you know those first couple days of practice you know I'm like okay think I can do this you know what I'm saying making plays gaining confidence or whatnot you know uh just learning from the older guys my coach coach Bloom he's been he's been on me know you know just stand on my lines my angles and stuff so it's paying off and uh like I said I got a lot of work to do and I just got to keep going handful of you guys in this rooky class have stepped up and made some contributions that please you know what I'm saying uh rookie you know I'm saying uh they don't really expect I'm a seven round Drive pick that's how I look at you know what I'm saying I got to go get it so I just got that hunger mentality like I said every every opportunity I get I'm going to go out there and I'm going give everything I got so like I said I think it's just a mentality for all of us all of us rookies really Jarvis uh dcoin James whoever it may be DMR catching you know what I'm saying but we just got that hunger mentality we just got to know we got to go get it uh each and every play We out there whether that special teams defense offense we just got that that instinct I feel like we just got to go go hunt
