I'm Jay turble for CBC in Montreal how long how long have pwhl hockey fans been waiting for this how long have we been saying pwhl Montreal pwl Toronto pwhl Boston it had run its course it was getting old finally this morning the names dropped we have Boston Fleet New York Sirens Toronto scepter Minnesota Frost Ottawa charge and victoire Dem morial a lot of people love it like the logo the colors are kind of the same as last year pretty much online people are saying the enjoy it others are saying victoir would have preferred a name that works better in English and French but I wonder what the players think what does Katherine du think I love the logo like we have our floridis here that is our national symbol and we have the wings here that represent a Big M for Montreal so I really love it the color are great I think it's very Montreal colors and what about the name I love the name Victor I think it's very Montreal it's a city where uh we are very competitive and we we want to win and I think that it could be a lot of different meaning it could take the meaning that the fans wants to take I think fans have been waiting so long to have the colors to have the the name to have the logo what's it been like for the players it's uh you know it's been amazing to see that we finally have a name and I think that the name just going to grow it's very incredible that we can finally say that we're like Victor the monreal the message I have for the fan is that we need them to make this name live on I think that if we all all stick together this name's going to go a long way I'm Katherine Zu and I'm part of lavor
