yes some things you especially at the beginning you can make a big difference in short amount of time but the higher level you get to the longer it takes to actually make a meaningful difference and so you need that patience and that trust in the process and say okay it's going to take me six months before I can show something for what I'm working on but you have to trust in it if you don't then it's it's harder to do it 100% And I think that's the worst thing about going to events is to like like you said if I do poor in event it should be because oh hey I'm not strong enough and I should then go back to the drawing board and try to get stronger it shouldn't be oh I bomb this event strategically if you're bombing the event strategically it's telling me that either you came in with no plan or your training is not teaching you how to make a plan in the first place and then it doesn't then it's stupid to go to the next event and just make the same mistakes
