the Old Farmers Almanac released its 20242 winter Outlook and this is what it is across the country for us in Indiana were divided in two the northern half of the state cold and dry including Indianapolis and the southern half of the state cold and snowy this is not to be confused with the Farmers Almanac which earlier this month predicted a cold wet and white Indiana winter so when we're diving into the numbers about the almanac obviously we checked earlier on this month and the farmers alac has done pretty poorly for us in Indiana they have different timelines the Farmers Almanac is December to March meanwhile the Old Farmers Almanac November to March and if you take their predictions quite literally cold snowy to be colder than average and snowier than average the last two years the Old Farmers Almanac has been off each of the years they did nail the 201920 season with mild with soakers was right with the temperature and precipitation but overall 4 for 10 with temperature and precipitation forecast in the last couple years here in Indianapolis when we dive into the numbers from November to March each of the seasons has been above average with our temperatures here in Indianapolis we've been milder than average for The Last 5 Years precipitation has been below average two The Last 5 Years and snowfall snowfall continues to be below average for the last five seasons we've been considerably below average a Meteorologist Ryan Morris for Wish TV wishtv.com or follow us on Facebook for updates
