Davis Fire Operational Update - September 13, 2024

good morning John svantes operation section TR traine with a morning update on the Davis fire we'll start over here in division Papa uh resources will continue to to strengthen the containment lines and do any kind of mop up that's in in the uh fire perimeter down here in division Zulu resources are working in there there's a couple of heat signatures well interior into the uh some of the Agricultural field that we're going to be working on in there today uh division uh Alpha the handline and the hosay that was installed in there is holding nicely and resources will continue to just add some more depth um trying to get into that past the 100 foot Mark with uh with mop-up operations everything up around division Charlie held really well over the past couple of shifts here and we'll continue to add some depth in there and do some additional mop up into the joy Lake area around into the division uh Lima country right here resources will continue to mop up um and add in some more depth in there the overall theme of the fire right now is in a mop-up stage and we're also looking at doing some suppression repair where it makes sense along the fire um resources are starting to get a little bit more focused in as we find some heat signatures from the uh IR imagery um everything's well interior but we're just going to start doing some of those Seek and Destroy missions um at this point in the fire uh really really no immediate threat to any of the containment nines at this point and that's your update for today
